As the kids got more used to the orphanage the dragons were starting to like the kids in a way that only dragons do. The kids started to fall in love with the dragons and soon were even sleeping upstairs with them. Every night they would watch the dragons outside guard the walls of this city whenever the dragons would pass by the building the kids would reach out and feel the wind push and pull their arms.

Osborn started to speak.

"If I ever get out of this orphanage that's what I'm gonna do, I am gonna guard this city with my life!"

As Osborn spoke Mires started to feel an energy around him. Soon it was visible around Osborn too.

"UM WHAT IS HAPPENING!?"

The energy shot away from Osborn and Mires in a bolt clapping together with a boom that shook the building and rattled the room so badly the kids were thrown from their seats and onto a wall, all except Osborn and Mires who were closer than ever and the magics stopped right as the door burst open with a screech of the hinges being torn from the metal of which they were bound to. Osborn roared at the intruder but the intruder just laughed loudly at the dragon cussing at it. The other dragons woke and bristled against having their privacy disregarded and took to the air screeching with a potency that made that man see stars. Seven of the dragons grabbed the kids and flew up to the roof of the dormitory which vibrated with the fury of the dragons which burst forward in a flurry of magic and rage. The dragons by then had already moved to a tall building to watch the spectacle although they did not expect to feel it! The magic twisted out of control of the smaller dragons and destroyed the orphanage. The dragons survived but barely, of the man they found no trace.
