I was glad to have a nice and organised girl as a roommate. At first I'd been a bit worried if it was going to be some super strong girl but they'd be lazy and messy. Levy was so nice and we soon became friends as she helped me unpack my suitcase and backpack.
I was then given a quick tour of the school and shown where each subject was taken at. Levy said that I'd probably be put in her classes. I hoped so.
We returned to our room just before lunch. "Hey Lucy?" Levy called out to me
"Yeah,"
"Do you have a combat suit?" Levy asked
"Well, yes but it's more a suit I like to fight in than an actual combat suit." I explained as I grabbed my blue skirt and matching blue shirt with a white cross in the middle of it and white outlines. I layer them down on my bed and detached the belt I had on. The belt had a pouch attached to it. Inside were my keys.
"Cool! You should wear that! Everyone in the school wears their combat suits all the time and tend to only wear normal cloths on weekend outings. Other than that we obviously wear our school uniform on school days except for training lessons." Levy kindly explained "But what are the keys for?"
"Oh, they're my weapons. I'm one of the few celestial wizards left. The keys were given to me by my mother...after she passed." I sadly explained to Levy.
"Oh Lucy I'm so sorry!" I thanked her as she hugged me and said that it was okay. I went to the ensuite we had in our room to quickly change as Levy had suggested and mainly because I didn't want to talk about my family.
After changing we headed down the flight of stairs to the canteen.
"We still have twenty more minutes until lunch but I though I might as well get you down early before you meet the rest of the gang. Before I could react a loud boom echoed through the room as the main door opened and a boy with pink hair ran towards us and slammed himself onto the bench on the opposite side of the table.
Hiding out one hand to me he smiled "Hey I'm Natsu, Natsu Dragneel! You must be Lucy the new girl!"
"Um... Yes, nice to meet you Natsu." I shook his hand stunned at his abrupt entrance.
"Natsu? Why aren't you in lessons?" Levy asked Natsu
"Well you see, the Chemistry teacher was having us use by bunsen  burners and instead of waiting for a match I may have just used my fire and caused a mini explosion because of how powerful my fire is and how it reacted to the substances really quickly." Natsu explained looking down at the table in guilt
"Not again Natsu! We've told you to not use your fire in the chemistry lab. It's too dangerous." Levy sternly told Natsu
"I didn't mean to." Natsu said
"First of all, what do you mean fire? Second of all, is this school crazy? There's no one panicking over an explosion?" I questioned Levy and Natsu
"Oh well my magic involves this." Natsu said as fire suddenly sprouted from his hands. It was amazing. I'd never seen magic like that before.
"Secondly, the school isn't mad it only took the teacher ten seconds to fix the damage plus the explosion was in the air and it was only small."
"Fine whatever, just don't do it again Natsu." Levy told Natsu.
"Yeah,Yeah. Anyway what's your magic power Lucy. You must have a good one to get into the school. No one's joined for the past few years." Natsu asked me
"Oh well, I'm a celestial wizard. I can summon celestial spirits." I showed them by calling on Taurus the bull. I raised his key to the air and called for him.
"Woah." That was all Natsu said he just sat there with this amazed look on his face. I then allowed Taurus to return to the spirit world.
"That's so cool Lucy! My magic is letter magic. I can write a specific word into the air and a specific thing will happen for example," Levy wrote the word fire into the air and a pretty flower appeared in the air made of fire.
"That's awesome you guys have such great magic skills." I exclaimed wondering what magic skills other people had
"Thanks, you powers are great too!" Natsu said a huge grin on his face. "Anyway, I'm gonna go feed happy, my cat. I'll come join you guys for Lunch. Bye Levy, bye Lucy!" With that Natu headed up the stairs to the dorms. I looked across to see Levy giving me a precarious look as if she knew something.
"What?" I asked
"Well nothing much, it's only that Natsu has never made friends with someone so quickly. I have a feeling this year might be good, especially for the shipping bets with Mira."
