There was a kid.

She was practically invisible, suddenly standing in the shadows.

There was a kid no one cared for.

She was neglected and ignored. She was hungry and depressed.

There was a kid who believed life was a waste of time.

She would try again and again, but couldn't find it in her to end it all.

There was a kid with a head full of doubt.

She second guessed everything she was told.

She thought she could take care of herself.

Then he came along and showed her everything she couldn't do.

She hated him, but eventually, she realized that she couldn't live without him.

Then, he was gone and again, there was a kid.

She stood in the shadows afraid of heartbreak.

I implore you, look for that kid.

That kid can change the world.
