Manik's mind was foggy..... he try to move, but it was painful to even move he can't even see anyone here this place is very weird..... he didn't understand where he is..... at the same time he sees two people coming toward him, he tries to move toward them but he can't..... soon the face showed of those two persons who are none other than his parents, his happiness have no boundaries watching his parents in front him..... he immediately hugs them and starts crying

Man(sobbing):Mumma Papa aap....I missed you so much.....

He just keep crying while hugging them

Nyo(breaking the hug): Shh baby..... itna koi rota hai, aap toh mumma k strong boy ho na

Raj(caressing his head): ha aur dadda ka Sher beta

Man(still crying):fir aap dono kyu chale Gaye the mujhe chod k

Nyo:woh humare hath me nahi tha baccha..... Bhagwan ki marji k aage hum kuch nahi kar sakte.....

Man:ab aap log mil Gaye ho na, ab hum humesha sath me rahenge

He was about to say further but heard abhi's painful voice who was calling him

"I love you so much manik... please don't leave me, please come back, I can't live without you, please bacche don't do this to your bhai please"

There is so much pain in his voice that is making Manik feel restless

Man(teary):bhaii.....

Neyo(cupped his face):jao baccha use aapki jarurat hai

Manik was in great dilemma about what to do.... one side he can't live without his parents and another side his brother needs him....

Raj:usne tumhare liye bohot kuch Kiya hai beta, tum use ese chod nahi Sakte

Man:par main aap dono k Bina nahi reh Sakta dadda

Neyo:reh sakte ho.... aur reh bhi rahe the itne Dino se.... par woh aapke bina nahi reh payenge baccha

Raj:ha baccha.... uske jeene ki wajah ho tum, usse woh wajah mat cheeno baccha, go hum tumhare saath humesha hai bacche....

Neyo(placing her hand on his heart):yaha.... hum humesha tumhare Dil me hai....

Tears are flowing from Manik's eyes, but he knows his bhai needs him he can't leave him....

Manik hugs his parents

Man(crying):I'll miss you both.... I love you very very much....

Neyo: jao baccha aur khushi se jeena ye zindagi, ye sochna ki humare badle ki zindagi bhi Tumhe hi jeeni hai....

Manik nodded in tears

It's morning now.... Abhi was still sitting beside Manik and waiting for him to gain consciousness, at that time he felt some movement in manik's finger he immediately moved near him....

Ab(holding his hand):Manik.... baccha r u listening.... come on open your eyes....

Manik slowly slowly opens his eyes he was feeling heaviness in his head it took him quite sometime to realise where he is...... he touched his forehead and found bandage over there then he remembers everything...... he looked around and watch Abhi standing there with concerned filled eyes, he tried to sit but Abhi pushed him gently and shooks his head....

Ab: don't move....

Manik closed his eyes because of pain.. Abhi caresses his head and checked his vitals and other things, he found everything normal, he sighs in relief but still have fear what if he don't remember him

Ab(softly):how are you feeling Manik, is it paining too much

He is praying to God that Manik didn't forgot anything and most importantly him.... he don't know how will he handle himself if manik forget him....

Man(groggily shooks his head): I'm fine bhai....

Abhi sighed in relief he feels like very big burden removed from his heart, his brother didn't forget him, he is the happiest person right now

He messaged Cabir about Manik's consciousness.... as he don't want to leave him even for a minute the feeling of loosing him still not leaving him....

Manik looks at abhi who is looking so tired and pale.... he feels so guilty, it's just because of him, he is suffering so much, he was about to say something but coughs because of dry throat, abhi gets worried....

Ab(worried):kya hua manik.... r u alright baccha....

Man:pa..pani....

Abhi slightly tilt his bed in sitting position and make him drink water, after that

Ab: feeling ok....

Manik nodded positively.... at that time others entered inside hurriedly, manik turned toward them because of sudden entry

They all have tears of relief in their eyes watching manik fine.... navya immediately went near him and hugs him tightly....

Nav(crying in happiness):ohh manik.... finally tum uth gaye, tumne toh jaan nikal di thi hum sab ki....

Manik smiles little... She breaks the hug and kissed his forehead

Nav:I'm so happy, akhirkaar matarani ne humari dua sun hi li....

Cab(caressing manik's face):ha navya.... finally humara manik ab thik ho gaya, hum sab ki jaan atka kar rakhi tha ab tak isne....

Sid(smiling):thik toh hona hi tha na bhai.... fighter hai humara Manik

Astha comes to Manik and hugs him

As(with misty eyes):you really scared us little boy

Manik(smiles faintly):I'm sorry bhabhi

As: sorry nahi chahiye mujhe, bas ab tum jaldi se thik ho jao....

Nan:abhi bhai hai na bhabhi, dekhna woh kitni jaldi use ekdum fit and fine kar denge....

Manik smiles, abhi literally turned out to an angel in his life, who saved him and gives him another life

Man(clutching abhi's hand):yes.... bhai can do anything, he is my angel....

Abhi looks at him with moist eyes, he remembered how he almost lost him.... all understood his condition they moved out except cabir to give them privacy 

Man(whispered):bhai....

Nd this is it for Abhi, he hugged Manik immediately without hurting him and start crying, Manik gets worried watching him cry like this

Man(panicked):bh...bhai.... what happen.... aap to kyu rahe ho....

Abhi didn't listened to him and just keep crying, this makes Manik worried

Man(to cabir):Jiju aap bolo na kuch bhai ko

Cab(caresses his hairs):let him cry Manik, itne Dino se Sara pain apne man me rakh raha tha, aaj jakar use chain Mila hai

Manik's eyes misted listening him

Cab:use ro lene de jee bhar k, man halka ho jayega

Manik nodded and caresses abhi's back gently to make him calm, cabir smiles and then left from there leaving them.... he know that they need each other more than anything right now....

After sometime Abhi calmed down and moved away from manik's embrace, Manik wiped his tears and shooks his head

Man(assuring him):I'm fine bhai.... please don't cry see, aap ho na toh mujhe kya ho Sakta hai....

Ab(smiles with moist eyes):thank you for coming back Manik.... agar Tumhe kuch ho jata toh main jeete ji mar jata, you mean world to me baccha

Man:main aapko chod k Kahi nahi jaunga bhai.... Mene promise Kiya tha na, main apna promise kabhi nahi todta

Ab(kissed his forehead):I love you baccha

Man(hugs him placing his head over his chest):I love you too bhai thank you for everything

Abhi didn't said anything.... he just caresses his back gently ,both stayed in same position for sometime they don't need any words now, they just need each other's presence 

It's been 2 weeks Manik gets discharged from hospital after throwing lots of tantrums to abhi.... He finally agreed for discharge, but only when Manik promised him that he will listen his every instructions....

It's night after the day of discharge
Manik is sleeping in his bed and Abhi besides him.... at the midnight, abhi's sleep broke, he heard some whispering voice he turned toward Manik and watched he is twisting and turning in his sleep

He immediately sits and move near him and watch manik is moaning in pain even in sleep, abhi felt pang in heart watching manik like that, he  gently caresses his head

Ab(softly):manik...baccha kya hua.... manik

Man(still closing his eyes):bhai it's paining

Tears flows from manik's eyes while saying this, abhi wipes them and went to bring injection for his pain

Ab(gently rubbing his arm):abhi chala jayega pain manik, calm down ok

He injected manik because of which he winced.... abhi rubbed his arm and took him in his embrace, manik also put his head on his lap and wrapped his hand around abhi....

Abhi smiled and caresses his head until he slept peacefully

Next day

Manik was sleeping, Nandini entered inside the room with fruits she brings for him, she slowly move near him and sit beside him a smile crept in her face watching him sleeping he was looking very cute she gently caresses his hairs and kissed his forehead

Nan(shooks him slowly):manik.... Manik get up it's time for your medicine

Manik frowns little then again sleeps Nandini shooks her head watching him

Nan(caressing his cheeks):manik ab utho bhi kitna soge Shaam ho gayi hai

Man(mumbles):yar nandu, sone do na mujhe neend arahi hai....

Nan: thik hai sote raho main ja Rahi bye

She got up and about to leave but at that time Manik hold her hand, she stopped and turned around, Manik pulled her toward himself in this process she fell upon him.... nandini gets surprised by this move, whereas Manik removes her hairs gently which are falling on her face, both gets lost in each others eyes

After sometime, Both comes in sense Nandini immediately got up and stands

Nan:ye sab kya tha Mr Malhotra

Man:tum kyu ja Rahi thi

Nan:you were sleeping na toh main kya Karti

Man:aree that's not fair..... tum yaha mujhe fruits khilane ayi thi, toh Bina khilaye kese ja sakti ho, main bimar hu na

Nandini rolls her eyes at his drama

Nan(sits beside him):kitna drama karte ho tum Manik

Man(pouts):ye tumhe drama lagta hai Miss Murthy, how can you say this

Nan: from my mouth ofcourse

Man: very funny....

Nan: accha you go nd frehnup tab tak main tumhare liye fruits kaat k rakhti hu

Man:ok....

Saying this he went to washroom

After sometime, he come back and sit on the bed beside Nandini.... who was cutting apple

Man:Nandu mujhe fruits nahi khane tum khuch aur le aao Na khane Ko

Nan(glared him):Mr Manik Malhotra.... Abhi kuch der pehle hi tumne kaha tha na ki tum bimar ho yaad hai ya bhul Gaye (manik nodded).... ha toh bimar log yahi khate hai chup chap khao, Jada tantrums mat dikhao

Man:tum toh Abhi se mere tantrums se pareshan ho gayi (dramatically) pata nahi aage kya hoga mujh jese Masoom Insaan ka

Nan(hits him playfully):bohot bade Dramebaaz ho tum Manik

Man:ha I know esa talent sabke paas nahi hota, Bohot Kam logo k paas hota hai

Nan:ok mr talented muh kholo aur ye Khao

She forward slice of apple, Manik makes face but atlast eat it

Nan(smiles looking at his face):kuch Dino ki baat hai Manik, fir tum sab apni marzi ka kha paoge bas kuch din adjust kar lo

Man(pouts sadly):ab woh toh karna hi padega aur koi option toh hai nahi

Like this Nandini made manik eat the fruits and then gives him medicines

Nan(stands up):achha ab tum aram karo, kuch jarurat pade toh bula Lena....

Man:yar kitna aram Karu, main bore ho Raha hu aur tum kesi girlfriend ho Apne bimar boyfriend ko akela chod k ja Rahi ho

Nan:accha toh boyfriend ji toh mujhe kya karna chahiye aap hi bataye

Manik hold her hand and pulled her to sit beside him which startled Nandini he moves close to her

Man(huskily):ese mere paas baithna chahiye

Nan(blushing):aur...

Man(moves little more closer):aur mujhse pyaar Bhari baatein karni chahiye

He cupped her face and caresses her cheeks from his thumb, Nandini's heart was beating so fast

Man(whispers):aur thoda romance karna chahiye

He smiles naughtily

Nan:ohh accha

She moves more close to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.... now it's time to fasten manik's heartbeat

Nan(whispers):ese....

Manik blushed Nandini smiles watching him blushing.... she joined her forehead with him....

Nan:you know one thing Manik...,

Man: kya

Nan(smiles):yahi ki you looks so cute when you blush like this

She pinched his nose and then kissed it

Man:and you look so beautiful, when you act like this

Nandini smiles and hugs him.... they stayed at each other's embrace for sometime and then moved away and sits.... Manik sits resting in bed and Nandini placing her head on his shoulder entwined each other's hand....

Nan:Manik....

Man: hmm....

Nan: thank you so much for coming in my life

Man: thank you too for being my strength, I love you Nandini....

Nan(leaned over him):I love you too Manik

One months passed from then..... manik is completely ok now in these one n half month abhi and others took great care of him, especially abhi who treated him just like a child, fulfilled his every need, bears his tantrums or we say enjoyed his tantrums.... now he is finally ok except some medications and some regime to follow....

One morning

Manik comes down after for having breakfast, as he came down he watch Abhi is setting breakfast on the table he moved toward him, Abhi watched him and smiles

Ab(cheerfully): good morning Manik

Man: good morning bhai....

Ab:chalo baitho fatafat breakfast ready hai

Manik sits down and remove the lid from the dishes he gets surprised watching pasta as he didn't allowed to have these dishes from long and after the surgery too

Man(surprised):pasta

Ab(smiles):ha pasta aur itna hi nahi hai aur bhi hai

He remove lid from another plate it's pancakes

Ab: pancakes aur chocolate milkshake

Man(excited):mere liye, aapne banaya?

Ab(ruffles his hairs):ha baba tumhare liye hi banaya hai

Manik squeels happily and hugs him

Man: thank you so much bhai....

Ab(moved away from hug):aajse you don't have to eat that diet and bland food

Man(relieved):hushh.... after 5 months thank God....

He says while looking up and joining hands, abhi chuckles at his dramatic act

Ab:ab chalo baitho aur khakar batao kesa Bana hai

Man(sits down):ab Apne haatho se banaya hai toh Apne haatho se khila bhi do, wese bhi in do mahino me aapne meri adat daal di hai, toh itni asani se toh chutegi nahi

Ab(also sits):toh kisne kaha tumhe adat sudharne Ko, main hu na khilane k liye

Abhi feeds him pasta to which Manik moaned

Man:yummm.... it tastes like heaven bhai, kitne dino Baad kuch accha khaya hayee....

Abhi chuckles at his drama then forwarded pancakes to which Manik takes a bite and smiles.... like this Abhi made him eat his whole breakfast and then handed him milkshake Manik drinks that also....

Man(happily):waah bhai.... aapne toh mera din Bana diya I love you....

He hugs Abhi to which he smiles and pats his back

Ab: love you too baccha

Man(biting his tongue): oops aapne toh khaya hi nahi

Ab:main kha lunga you don't worry

Man:nahi abhi Khao mere samne, main hu na company dene k liye aapko bore nahi hone Dunga

Abhi chuckles and start eating, whereas Manik is talking as always his no sense wali talk which Abhi is enjoying fully, he was really missing his banters from so long and now Manik is finally coming to normal that is the most peaceful thing for him....

Abhi just finished his breakfast at the same time they heard a voice

"Kya khaya ja Raha hai akele akele mere bina"

They turned and watch cabir was standing there and Navya, Astha and nandini at the back

Manik smiles watching them he immediately rushed toward them and hugs cabir

Man(cheerfully): good morning Jiju

Cabir(ruffles his hairs): good morning champ.... how are you now....

Man(smiling): main....main toh bohot khush hu aaj

Nan:aur woh kis Khushi me

Man:poore 5 mahine Baad Mene kuch tasty khaya hai, you can't imagine how happy I'm and you know what.... bhai ne kaha ab main sab kuch kha Sakta hu

All smiles listening him, they are very happy for him they know very well how much he was suffering from so long and sacrificing his tastes and preferences....

Nav(coming near him): aree waah

Man(side hugs her):ab aap ready ho jao meri demands poori karne k liye you promised me

Nav: bilkul ready hu tum bas hukum karo

Manik(hugs her):aww.... I love you di

As(from back):Sara pyaar di k liye and what about bhabhi

Manik moves away from hug and looked at Astha and moved near her

As:aree bhabhi aap toh Bura hi maan gaye I love you also

As(fake anger):ese kese Maan lu main

Man:accha toh aap hi batao kese maanoge

As:ab woh bhi main hi batau kuch khud bhi soch lo devar ji

Man(acts like thinking):kyu na esa kiya jaye ki aapki aur bhai ki engagement kara di jaye

Abhi and astha gets shocked listening him whereas others really liked the idea

Nan:wow manik nice idea....

Cab:ha idea toh accha hai kab tak ye bewakoof single rahega

Astha blushed and abhi glared cabir

Cab(ignoring him):ghurne se tu bewakoof se hoshiyar nahi ban jayega, toh koshish hi mat kar

All laughed listening him

Ab:jada kuch muh nahi chal raha tera

Cab:kyu.... tujhe nahi pata kya muh chalane k Liye hi hota hai bro, how dumb you are

They keep fighting like toddlers while others are enjoying the show comfortably sitting on sofa

Meanwhile in their bickering Cabir throws water on Abhi's face, which angered abhi, Cabir sensed it and runs from there, abhi also start chasing him,  now they are running behind each other.... while others are laughing out loudly after so many painful month mansion is again filled with laughter....

Nav(shouts):stoppp....

Both stopped abruptly.... in this process Cabir lost his balance and falls colliding with abhi making him also fall, watching this all again start laughing.... abhi pushed cabir and stand-up cabir also did the same....

Abhi was about to lash out on Cabir.... but his eyes falls on manik who is laughing with his heart out.... his anger flew away, he felt so good watching him like this, he can do anything to keep his smile like that on manik's face....

He went to manik and hugs him, which makes manik startled a bit coz of sudden hug

Ab(whispered):be happy like this always manik

Manik felt overwhelmed with Abhi's words

Man(smiles):aap Kush rahoge bhai toh main ese hi Khush things

Cab:not fair hug woh bhi mere bina

Man:toh aap bhi aa jao....

Cabir went toward them and joined the hug

As:hum bhi hai guys....

Abhi gestured them to join, they also joined them, it's a complete family hug....
