Astha's house

It's been two hours Abhi is there with Astha both are spending quality time with each other

As(coming toward Abhi): it's 9:15 Abhi..... dinner Laga du?

She looks at him who was lost in his thoughts Astha touched his shoulder Abhi looks at her

Ab:ha kya hua.....

As(concerned): what happen..... where are you lost main bol Rahi hu ki dinner Laga du.....

Ab:Astha main Ghar ja Raha hu

As(confused):ese achanak kya hua abhi toh tumne dinner bhi nahi Kiya

Ab:I don't know but mujhe kuch thik nahi lag Raha

As(worried):kyu kya hua tumhari tabiyat toh thik hai na

Ab:ha main toh thik hu par Manik

As(puzzled):Manik kya.....

Ab:Manik ghar me akela hai mujhe uski fikar ho rahi hai

As:call karlo use

Ab:Abhi Kiya tha 20 minutes pelhle project Bana Raha tha

As:fir se kar lo ek baar

Ab(stands up):2 ghante me 10 Baar call kar Chuka hu par fir bhi ye Ajeeb si feeling ja hi nahi Rahi..... I think mujhe Jana chaiye main yaha Raha toh chain se nahi reh paunga.....

Astha nodded understanding his situation

Ab(cups her face):I'm sorry Astha..... I know you planned dinner so that we can spend some time with each other aur main.....

Before Abhi completes his words Astha interrupted

As:Manik is more important right now Abhi I can understand..... humne Kiya na time spend..... 2 hours are enough for me don't think too much....

Astha smiles, Abhi gets overwhelmed by Astha's understanding he's definitely lucky to have her in his life

Ab:thank you so much for understanding me Astha

As: bakwas mat karo aur jao.... aur ha kuch problem ho toh call karna...

Ab(nodded positively):ok

And then he left from there

After sometime Abhi reached MM

He entered inside and see kaka is in the kitchen he went near him

Ab:Kaka Manik kaha hai usne dinner Kiya?

Kaka:Manik baba toh Apne room me hai..... abhi tak toh nahi kiya main bas unhi k liye lekar ja Raha tha khana.....

Ab:aap rehne dijiye aur jakar aaram kijiye main khila Dunga use

Kaka nodded and Abhi went to manik's room As he entered inside the room the scene he watched infront him make his blood ran cold

He watched manik was laying unconscious on floor...... Abhi gets shocked watching him like that he just talked with him half an hour before he was fine then what happen to him suddenly..... He immediately rush toward him puts his head on his lap  and pats his cheek to wake him up but no response he gets extremely worried watching Manik in that state......

Ab(patting his cheeks):Manik...... Open your eyes..... please open ur eyes manik...... please baccha look at me......

But Manik doesn't respond & this scares him..... he didn't realised when tears start flowing from his eyes..... Manik is now became world to him and mere thought of anything happen to him scares him and here he is lying unconscious infront of him.....

Ab(teary):baccha get up na...... see bhai is here......

Still there is no response..... He checked his pulse it was very faint Manik needs immediate treatment he have to take him to the hospital Abhi immediately picked him up and rush down.... with the help of butlers he shift him to the car and ask driver to drive to the hospital

At Hospital

Cabir was leaving for home as his shift just ended..... he was moving toward the entrance at the same time he sees the commotion over there..... well it's nothing new whenever new patient arrive this happen..... he was about to move out but his eyes falls on Abhi who was looking devasted and rushing with the stretcher..... he got shocked watching the patient who was none other than Manik.....

He immediately rushed near them

Cab(worried):Abhi kya hua manik Ko

Abhi looks at cabir with tear filled eyes which breaks cabir's heart but before he could do or say anything doctors wheeled manik to emergency ward and abhi too trailed behind him leaving puzzled and sad cabir outside

It's been half an hour treatment is still going on cabir was pacing infront the ward being hell worried at that time Navya, Nandini and Astha reached there

Nav(coming near cabir):kya hua Manik Ko cabir ab kesa hai woh

Cab(in defeated tone):I don't know Navya..... I don't know anything main Ghar Jane k liye Nikal Raha tha tab hi mene Abhi ko dekha aur Manik ko stretcher me..... before I could ask anything Abhi andar chala Gaya manik k sath aur adhe ghante se andar hi hai.....

A tear drop from his eyes..... Navya hugs him whereas Astha and nandini were standing there in tears they all love Manik so much that his pain is making them vulnerable.....

After almost 15 minutes doctor comes out with Abhi all rushed toward them

Cab(worried):Manik kesa hai Abhi

Nav:use kya hua hai

Abhi didn't said anything he was just numb..... the senior doctor who was beside him come forward to answer them..... he know how painful is for him to treat his brother and watching him in so devastating condition..... still he didn't let his emotions come in between his profession.....

Cab(impatient):kuch bol na yar Abhi Hume dar lag raha hai

Doctor:calm down Dr cabir Dr Abhi is quite disturbed.... and about the patient he is stable now but I can't assure for  further you yourself being a doctor you can understand this

Cabir nodded while the girls are crying listening doctors word

Doctor:his condition is worsening we have to do surgery as soon as possible in these two weeks or else you know the consequences rest you can ask from Dr Abhi

Saying this doctor leave from there cabir looks at Abhi who was standing there totally numb he reached out to him and made him sit on bench Astha also sit beside him Navya and Nandini also come near him

Cab(holding his hand):Abhi tu thik hai

Abhi looks him with tearful eyes which breaks cabir's heart watching his strong friend looking so shattered

Ab(whispers):I can't live without him cabir

Cabir hugs him tightly....Abhi breakdown and start crying cabir rubbed his back to calm him down but Abhi was not stopping he was crying badly..... cabir broke the hug forcefully.....

Cab: stop crying Abhi..... Manik needs you woh tujhe ese dekhega toh use kesa lagega.....

Abhi calm down a bit Cabir wipes his tears

Ab:he is in so much pain cabir and I am not able to do anything..... I'm feeling so helpless kash main kuch kar pata.....

Cab(softly):you are doing your best abhi stop thinking these nonsense..... you can't fall weak hume hi manik ko sambhalna hai he needs us

Ab(still in daze):agar main use Akela nahi chodta toh ye sab nahi hota it's all my mistake I should have been careful but I failed

Nav(comes near him and hold his hand):no abhi esa kuch bhi nahi hai tum kyu ye sab soch rahe ho

All are feeling so bad for abhi they can totally understand his pain

Ab:navya mujhe feel ho raha tha ki kuch toh galat hai..... mujhe bad intuition aa rahe the but fir bhi.....

As(interrupt him):fir bhi kya Abhi..... tum Gaye the na jab tumhe esa feel hua..... toh fir isme tumhari kya galti hai stop blaming yourself Abhi..... this is not a time to blame anyone this is a time to be strong and handle everything.....

Nan:ha bhai..... Manik ko bohot dukh hoga jab use pata chalega ki you are blaming yourself..... please don't do this he can't see you crying.....

Cab:ha ab tu ye Rona band kar..... you are Dr Abhimanyu Thakkar tune bohot se logo ki zindagiyan bachai hai don't forget that..... ab baari hai tere bhai ki, humare Manik ki zindagi bachane ki you have to bring our Manik back.....

Abhi(nodded positively with tears):yes I'll bring him back..... I won't let anything happen to my brother..... I won't able to save my Viraj and my mom bas ab aur nahi main apne Manik ko mujhe chod kar nahi jaane dunga I'll save him anyhow

Cabir(hugs him): ab ye ki na tune Dr Abhimanyu wali baat chal ab chehra sudhar aur kuch khale canteen chalkar

Ab(sadly):nahi yar bilkul man nahi hai

Nan:aree ese kese man nahi hai aap khaoge nahi toh energy kese ayegi..... aapko apne manik ka khayal bhi toh rakhna hai na....

Abhi remembered Kaka said that Manik didn't have his dinner

Ab(whispered):usne bhi kuch nahi khaya tha Nandu

Tear drop from nandini's eyes listening him

As:jab woh uth jayega na tab main bataungi use ki uske bhai ne khana nahi khaya ruko tum

Abhi looks at her teary

Cab:chal uth ab tu jakar kha le ja in teeno k sath main hu yaha ab no more argue

Abhi sighs defeated and went with them

After half an hour girls went to Home as only one person is allowed to stay so cabir decided to stay and Abhi is on duty as cabir went to canteen to have something Abhi decided to go nd check Manik

He went to the ward and slowly opens the door and watch his little brother is lying on hospital bed..... attached with so many machines and oxygen mask..... the boy who was happy soul of his life is just lying lifeless..... looking totally pale and weak.....

Abhi's heart bleeds watching him like this.... he slowly moves toward him & sit beside him tears start flowing from his eyes....

Ab(teary): I'm sorry baccha..... you are bearing so much pain and I can't even do anything..... please get well soon  kiddo I can't see you like this please.....

Abhi wipes his tears and hold manik's hand carefully in which iv was not connected

Ab: I already lost my brother and mom..... I can't loose you bacche..... please fight for me please

He start crying.... At that time he felt someone's hand on his shoulder he turned and watch cabir who hugs him

Cab:bas Abhi aur kitna royega..... please calm down tu ese tut jayega toh Manik ka kya hoga think about him na

Abhi break the hug and wiped his tears

Ab: I'm fine.... it's just I can't able to control my emotions.....

Cab: it's ok chal main bahar hu ok

Abhi nodded and after sometime sleep took over him he slept placing his head on bed 

Next morning

Manik is still unconscious...... Abhi come there after checking some patients he move toward manik and checked his vitals and then remove the oxygen mask now he can breathe by his own after doing everything he just sat there just looking at  manik

After sometime manik stirred a bit..... abhi gets alerted After few minutes manik slowly opened his eyes feeling extremely tired and heavy head he tried to get up but wince as IV was still Pierced in his hand.....

Ab:aram se Manik Dard hoga

He adjusted his bed in comfortable position and again checked his pulse and heartbeat and sighs in relief 

Ab(softly):how are you feeling now Manik

But Manik didn't said anything he was thinking about yesterday's incident..... he still can't get over from the fear..... Abhi touched hand gently

Ab:Manik kya hua baccha

Manik looks at him and shooks his head

Ab(scolding): why didn't you called when you were not feeling well ha..... maine kaha tha na mujhe call karna.....

Tears welled up in manik's eyes listening him..... abhi's heart melted watching him in tears..... he sits beside him on the bed and hugs him without hurting him and that's it for Manik he just broke down in tears.....

Ab:accha sorry I'm not scolding ok calm down

Manik still not calming down and this is making Abhi worried it will effect  his health if he kept crying like this

Ab:kya hua Manik kuch bolo bhi why r u crying this much

Man(sobbing):bh...bhai... There...there was.... blood....I...I

He burst into tears again Abhi understood what he wants to say..... he rubbed his back to calm him down

Ab(softly):you should have called me na baccha

Man(looks up with tearful eyes):I...I.... Tried.... bhai but I can't

Ab(consoling him):shhh bas I got you I got you kiddo Don't cry tabiyat bigad jayegi baccha

But Manik didn't listened anything he was crying badly

Man(hicuping):I..... I don't want..... to die bhai please.....

Abhi's heart shattered listening his kiddo's words

Ab:nahi baccha..... nothing will happen to you main hu na bhai hai na baccha shh

Manik snuggle up more and still crying..... at last Abhi have to sedate him as he was not calming down..... in few minutes he drift off to sleep..... Abhi adjusted his bed and cover him properly then kissed his forehead.....

Ab:get well soon baccha.....

At afternoon

Manik is sitting lost in his thoughts looking at white walls of his hospital room..... Nandini sighs sadly watching him like that watching a lively and chirpy person sitting so silent and lost is so heartbreaking..... a tear drop from her eyes which she immediately wipes she don't want to show her tears to manik.....

Nandini slowly moved toward him and sit on the table beside his bed still Manik was sitting like that he didn't even sense Nandini entered inside and sits there..... she softly touched his hand Manik comes in sense and looks at her with tears in his eyes Nandini gets worried watching his tears she immediately cups his face.....

Nan(softly):Manik kya hua y r u crying..... Kahi pain ho Raha hai kya main bhai Ko bulati hu wait.....

She was about to stand but my hold her hand to stop and shooks his head

Nan(concerned):toh fir kya hua manik

Manik firstly hesitated to say but he can't share this with anyone else

Man(whispered):I'm scared

Nandini sits beside him she's extremely worried for him she never watched him like this

Nan(softly):scare of what Manik

Manik hugs her in impulse Nandini gets startled first then reciprocate

Man(teary): mujhe dar lag Raha hai Nandini I'm scared wh... what if I won't survive

Nandini break the hug and looked at him with anger

Nan:Manik ye kya bakwas kar rahe ho

Man(vulnerable): please Nandini please listen to me.... I can't share this with bhai or anyone else..... woh sab already bohot pareshan hai mere liye.... I know tum bhi ho....

Nan(interrupted): kya hua Manik kyu Dar rahe ho bhai hai na

Man:I know but what if I could not make up with the treatment ,what if I won't come back

Nan(weeping):manik ye kya bol rahe ho

Man(scared):I don't want to die nandini mujhe thik hona hai , mujhe wapas that Jana hai mujhe sabke sath happily rehna hai , mujhe for se mera music continue Karna hai I'm scared nandini what I don't

Saying this he start crying nandini's condition is no different she is trying hard to break down in front of him but his words are breaking her heart badly

Man(hopefully): kya main firse ye sab kar paunga

Nandini nodded positively with tearfull eyes and cups his face

Nan:yes manik you'll do all the things again tum wapas aaoge manik tumhe kuch bhi nahi hoga mujhe poora yakeen hai

Nandini wipes Manik's tears

Nan:you trust abhi bhai ?

Manik nodded positively

Nan:Cabir bhai and bhabhi?

He again nodded

Nan:and astha di ,Sid and me?

Man:I trust you all nandini

Nan(calmly):tum hum sab pe vishwas karte ho aur hum sab ko poora Vishwas hai ki tumhe kuch nahi hoga tum bilkul thik ho jaoge

Man: I trust them nandini..... but I don't trust my destiny..... jab bhi mujhe lagta hai ki ab meri life me kuch bura nahi hoga tabhi bhagwan mujhse meri khushiya cheen lete hai..... 

Nan:thik hai you don't trust your destiny then don't I'm not forcing you..... but is baar tum hum sab k trust pe trust karlo (she hold his hand) bas is baar manik please.....

manik feel somewhat Good after hearing nandini's words tnen she hugs him 

Nan: ab stop crying ye tumhe suit nahi karte..... you look good when you smiles..... now give your manik malhotra wali smile please.....

Manik smiles a little which makes nandini smile too
