Next Morning

Manik is sleeping peacefully...... his sleep broke after listening blasting sound of something he woke up being startled...... but his shock turn into pleasant surprise after watching his room which is decorated so beautifully a smile spread on his lips...... 

As soon as he is recovered from his surprise abhi entered with big smile

Abhi(coming near him):good morning birthday boy...... 

Abhi sit beside him ,cupped his face and kissed his forehead

Manik(smiles): good morning bhai love you

Abhi(hugged him): love you too mera baccha 

Manik snuggled close to him 

Abhi:ab chalo jaldi jaldi fresh hokar neeche aajao sab wait kar rahe hai breakfast k liye

Man(confused):sab?

Abhi:ha sab cabir, Navya,Nandu aur Astha...... aaj ka poora din hum ek saath spend karenge......

Man(excited): really......

Abhi(smiles):ha Baba really...... ab jao jaldi......

Man(smiles):ok aap chalo main ata hu

Abhi nodded and Manik went to fresh n up

After sometime manik comes down after fresh n up and watch his beautiful family is sitting at dining table waiting for him...... he smiles and went near them...... 

Man(smiling):good morning beautiful people

All(cheerfully):good morning birthday boy 

Cab:baithiye baithiye saale sahab...... aaj aapki bhabhi aur di ne aapke liye special breakfast banaya hai...... 

Man(excited like a child):really......

All smiles watching his excitement 

Nan(chuckles watching him):ha really ab baitho bhi......

Manik sit down immediately and watch his favourite dishes his smile faded remembering that it's not good for his health

Abhi and Astha noticed this

As: don't worry Manik u can eat this food Mene aur Navya ne sab according to your diet hi banaya hai tum bindass Khao

Ab(pats his cheek):Jada mat socho mere rehte huye kuch bhi unhealthy nahi ban payega

Manik smiles

Cab:ha ek dum school principal ki tarah khada tha ye kitchen me

All laughed listening him and have their breakfast with lots of laughter and bickerings

Nan:toh sab se pehle kaha Jana hai

Astha: Sabse pehle hum jayenge mandir is that ok

Nav:100 percent ok...... sab se pehle wese bhi Bhagwan k darshan karne chahiye thik hai na Mani......

Man:jesa aap Sab Ko thik Lage I don't have any problem

Abhi:thik hai toh Sabse pehle mandir fir

Man(hesitant):fir mujhe uske Baad thoda kaam hai 1-2 hours ka fir hum continue karenge kya

Ab(confused):esa kya kaam hai Manik hum sab sath me time spend karne ka soch Rahe the

Actually manik's parents donates  clothes and foods to poors and some donation to NGOs on manik's birthday every year and after their death Manik continued that...... but now he's hesitating to tell everyone firstly he never tell anyone about donation and other is he don't want to show off anything......

Man:bhai wo...woh kuch kaam hai mujhe

Others noticed that he is hesitating in their presence so they excused and went to living room except Abhi

Ab(concerned):koi problem hai kya Manik don't you want to go out??

Man(sighs):esa kuch nahi hai bhai woh baat ye hai ki

Then he tell about donation n all as he can share everything with Abhi he is his brother

Ab(smiles):toh baccha ye toh acchi baat hai isme chupana kesa

Man: Papa kehte the ki hum agar kisi Ko kuch de rahe hai toh uske baare me kabhi publicity nahi karni chahiye woh sirf Hume khud ko bas pata hona chahiye...... wese toh aap sab mere Apne hi ho par fir bhi......

Abhi smiles listening him he understands his point

Abhi(caressing his hairs):ok toh mandir k Baad sirf hum dono chalenge...... bakiyo Ko mall bhej denge kyuki uske Baad humne movie ka decide Kiya hai aur fir lunch bhi Wahin karenge ok......

Man(hugs him): thank you so much bhai for understanding me

Abhi chuckles

Man:thik hai main Change kar k ata hu

After sometime Manik comes down

Nandini looks at him and her eyes stuck on him he's looking very handsome in this kurta her trance broke listening Navya

Nav(smiling):Ohoo mr Malhotra is looking handsome ha

Manik blushed listening her compliment all chuckled watching him blushing

Astha(pinch his Cheeks):aww...... you are blushing......

Man(trying hard to not blush):hum chale late ho Raha hai

All:ok

Then they leave for temple

Whole gang reached temple and perform Pooja in the name of Manik as Abhi told priest to do that then they took blessings from God and then priest

Manik touched priest who blessed him in return

Priest:humesha khush raho bacche...... Bhagwan tumhari har manokamna poori kare aur lambi Umar de......

Abhi's eyes moist listening him...... he also touched his feet priest also blessed him then others do the same......

After that others left to mall as planned leaving Manik and Abhi there...... Manik calls his driver to bring clothes and food there...... then both distributes that to the poor people who were sitting there then they went to some NGOs and did donation there and then they leave for mall after changing their clothes......

At mall

Manik and Abhi reached there and meet others

Cabir:kya yar kitna time Laga diya dono ne...... kab se wait kar rahe hai movie start hone wali hai......

Ab(rolled his eyes):ha toh chala jata na kisne kaha tha wait karne ko

Cabir(glared him):bhalai ka toh zamana hi nahi raha

All chuckles watching their bickering

Nav:tum dono ka ho gaya ho toh chale

Man:inhe chodo di hum chalte hai inhe ladne do

Astha:ha manik u r right come on guys

Abhi/cabir:what the hell......

Cabir:else kese hume chod k jaoge

They start walking toward cinema hall

Man(shouts while walking):ese......

Abhi and cabir looks at each other being shocked and runs toward them

Abhi:aree ruko hum bhi arahe hai

After finishing movie they all have lunch at restaurant with lots of fun and teasing...... then decided to go to the beach......

At beach

All are sitting there calmly watching waves it's evening time sun is setting everything is looking very beautiful...... manik is sitting beside abhi putting his head on his shoulder......

Man:kitna beautiful lag raha hai na...... so peaceful......

Abhi(smiles):ha did you enjoy today

Man(still looking at waves):this was my best birthday after mumma papa left...... thank you so much bhai......

Cabir listened him

Cabir:abhi toh birthday baki hai bro abhi thank you bacha kar rakho......

Man:ab aur kuch karne ki kya zarurat hai jiju I already enjoyed a lot

Nan:y r u thinking too much maze lo na chup chap

Man:ha woh toh main le hi raha hu

Nan:thik hai toh kyu na ice cream ho jaye

Abhi: it's evening nandu not this time

Nan(pouts):ok

At the same time abhi's phone rings he moved away to talk and come back in a while

Ab:guys I have emergency main nikalta hu ek ghante me ghar me milta hu

Manik's face falls listening him

Ab(kneels infront of him): Manik ek hour k baat hai baccha main ajaunga

Man:toh hum bhi ghar chalte hai

Abhi:aree kyu...... tum enjoy karo kuch der me toh ana hi hai na please......

Manik agreed half heartedly and Abhi left

Nav(to Manik):chalo mood thik karo hum nariyal Paani Peete hai ok

Nan(cheerfully): good idea bhabhi

Astha:chalo Nandu hum lekar ate hai

They bring nariyal Paani and all drink that enjoying sunset and at 7 o clock they leave for home

After sometime they reached home Manik rings the doorbell but then he realised door is open he pushed the door and watch his whole house is covered with darkness he gets confused......

Man:bhai ,dadu......

He looks back and found no one and response from inside too he moves forward

Mahi:bhaii......

At that time lights gets on nd he heard loud voice "SURPRISE" manik gets startled he watch everyone was there his family , orphanage children nd his friend Sid too before he could react anything he heard

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU , HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU"

A big smile come on manik's face...... he entered inside nd engulfed in hug by his bhai 

Man:toh ye thi apki emergency

Abhi didn't said anything he just pats his back

All kids shouts: happy birthday rockstar......

Manik(smiles): thank you so much kiddos

Sid come near him and engulfed him in hug

Sid: happy birthday bro humesha ese hi smile karte reh

Man: thank you bro...... I really missed you......

Sid:I missed you too yar but ab I'm back na

Manik and others smiles

Kids(shouting): rockstar gana gao na please

Cab:aaj aapke rockstar nahi Balki unke bade bhai gayenge is that ok for you all 

All:haa

Suddenly lights off and spot light on and focused on Abhi all smiles watching him manik was so excited for his song

Abhi(looking at Manik):this song is for birthday boy...... my little angel who brought light in my life...... Manik......

Manik's eyes moist listening his words cabir watched him and side hugs him

Abhi:Manik...... from the time you entered my life you really change it and change it for good...... you already know how I was back then total arrogant,rude and never going to smile wala person...... then you entered in my life and and you changed me you teach me how to live, how to smile you filled my life with love and happiness...... thank you so much for coming in my life my boy......

Tears are glowing from manik's eyes listening Abhi's words he was so overwhelmed by the love abhi have for him...... he is so lucky to have brother like him who is no related from blood but from heart......

He went near them nd cut the cake then firstly feed his Abhi then cabir then navya nd his bhabhi...... And at last to nandini then everyone give him gifts and time for cake bath with lots of shouting nd chasing...... 

Abhi is adoring this moment his boy is suffering alot but today he is laughing his heart out...... he is looking very happy...... and that is enough for him he wished this smile never fade away from his face

Man(happily):thank you everyone for making my birthday this much special

All hugs him together

All:keep smiling always manik

Then after that all have their dinner

After the party finished manik and Nandini are sitting at terrace enjoying the cold breeze

Nan:aaj kitna maza Aya na Manik

Man(remembering the beautiful day):ha ye birthday meri life ka one of the best birthday tha

Nan(hesitated):Manik I wanted to tell you something from very long

Man:ha Nandu bolo na

Nan(closed her eyes):wo..woh Manik I.... I love you

Manik gets shocked listening her

Nan(continuing): I don't know ye kab hua mujhe khud bhi pata nahi chala bas ho Gaya

Manik gets shocked listening nandini's word he never thinks anything like this for Nandini he never seen her more than friends

Man(shocked):nandu...

Manik don't want to break nandini's heart by telling her that he don't love her but he can't give her wrong hopes too

Man(takes a deep breath): listen Nandini please don't take me wrong (he holds her hand) I genuinely respect your feelings toward me but

Nandini looks at him with hope

Man:but I don't love you Nandini I never seen you more than friend I know what you are feeling  right now but

A tear dropped from nandini's eyes listening this...... Manik watched her like this and this makes him guilty for breaking her heart......

Nan(softly):you are saying this all this because of your illness na

Manik looks at being shocked how did she know

Nan:ese kya dekh rahe ho I knew it from very long Manik I have heard bhai and bhabhi talking one day (she cupped his face) par mujhe usse koi farq nahi padta manik kyuki mujhe yakeen hai ki Abhi bhai tumhe kuch nahi hone denge

Manik's eyes welled up listening her

Nan:you'll be fine Manik please don't think any negative things tum yahi soch rahe hoge ki what if something happens to you

Man(sighs):no Nandini esa kuch bhi nahi hai jo tum bol Rahi ho that's so filmy ye sab filmon me hota hai just because ki mujhe kuch ho jayega toh mere Baad tumhara kya hoga n all...... main itna mahan Insaan nahi hu Nandini ki apni bimari ki wajah se I leave my love no esa kuch nahi hai......

Nandini looks at him being confused

Man: Nandini I like you but main  tumse pyaar nahi karta...... I always see you as a friend a good friend but nothing more please understand I know I'm hurting you but......

Manik is saying all this being very guilty Nandini can feel his guilt but she also knows that it's not his fault afterall if he don't love her that's not any mistake we can't force anyone to love

Man(teary):I'm sorry nan...

Before he says anything Nandini stopped him by putting her hand on his mouth

Nan:shh...... no Manik please don't say sorry it's not your mistake tum jo feel karte ho tumne toh Wahi bataya isme sorry bolne ki kya jarurat hai......

Man:but Nandini......

Nan:Manik pyar jabardasti nahi hota and it's ok agar tum mujhse pyaar nahi karte toh nahi karte isme tumhari koi galti nahi hai...... Jese mujhe tumse pyaar hua isme meri koi galti nahi thi usi tarah tumhara mujhse pyaar Na Karna bhi koi mistake nahi hai...... so please don't be guilty......

Nandini wiped her tears and about to go but Manik stopped her by holding her hand Nandini turned and look at him

Man(teary):humari Dosti bhi khatam ho gayi kya...... kya ab hum pehle Jese nahi rahenge please Nandini don't break our friendship......

Nan:No Manik humari friendship ab bhi wesi  hi rahegi in Sab cheezon se humari friendship pe koi asar nahi padega we will be friends always and forever

Man(hugs her):thank you so much Nandu thank you

They broke the hug

Nan:ha main ab bhi tumse ladungi tumhe tease karungi aur ye mat samjhna ki tum bimar ho ye soch k main tumhe Bakhsh dungi

Man(smiles):main koi tumse darta hu kya

Both laughed looking at eachother

After few minutes

Nan: it's getting late Manik we should sleep

Man:ha chalte hai kuch der me let's sit here for sometime please

Nandini agreed and After spending some more time there they left to sleep
