Neil after his nap comes down but frowned seeing so many unfamiliar faces in his apartment... he roams his eyes around and found the hall messy... he looks at the people who brags into his apartment and dared to mess the hall...

He took step down but stopped as a ball came by his foot... he looks at the ball then at the person whose hand came near the ball to get it...

He was dumbfounded seeing look like him standing there in a child vision of his... Neil found the boy features similar to himself... Neil starts thinking how could this be possible?

Neil Stood on the stairs and his litter vision picking the ball up and running around the hall..Neil shook his head as he watched his own little version running thinking he would be hallucinating himself..

Neil comes back to reality as he heard his name being called out.. he looks up and saw a lady at his mother age calling him.

Neil didn't take any second to realise it wasn't a dream but an reality..

Neil walks to the lady and looks at her confusingly.

Neil : who are you? And how did you get inside?

Lady : I should be asking you the same questions? Who are you? Isn't this Avni's house?

Neil frowned hearing the lady but then his eyes met Avni's who was coming our of the kitchen followed by reyansh... whenever he sees them his heart breaks but keep stone on his heart ignores the fact she has moved on from him...

Avni comes there and nervously looks at Neil..

Neil : who are they avni? Why are they here?

Avni: Neil... can I talk to you in private please?

Neil looks at avni then at others whose eyes were on them. Neil bobbed his head and walks back to his followed by avni..

Neil sat on bed and looks at avni who fiddle with her hands..

Neil : care to explain what is happening in my house?

Avni : Neil don't get angry with me please...

Neil : I have no right to get angry on you avni.. don't change the topic and explain me who are they?

Avni : Neil... they are reyansh parents and family...

Neil took a minute to understand..

Neil : you mean to say your in-laws..

Avni snaps her head at him with her eyes widen..

Avni : no they are not my in-laws...Neil you have misunderstood what I relation I share with rey... he isn't what you are thinking.

Neil : what am I thinking then? And why are you explaining what he is to you?

Avni: because you need to know Neil.. rey is not my boyfriend but like a brother... he like my brother...

Neil sat there being shock and numb hearing her..

Neil : what? Brother...

Avni : yes.... Him and his family supported me when I thought you betrayed me..

Neil looks at her then was going to open his mouth stopped as they heard sound of someone crying... they both turns their head and saw whose at the door... Neil's eyes widen seeing his own little version crying at the door.. he knew it by now he wasn't hallucinating...

His eyes wandered to avni who moved to door and picks the boy up in her arms.. she comes back to him and looks at Neil being numb there...

Avni wipes the boy tears and kissed his forehead... avni was busy showering all the love to boy but failed to notice Neil's reaction... Neil was numb seeing the boy in Avni's arm... Neil knew it that boy was his own blood but how did that happen..

Avni puts the boy down and looks at Neil..

Avni : Neil...

Neil : is.... he...

Avni: our son... he is... three weeks later after settling in Australia I found that I was pregnant...

As she said something immediately strikes Neil... he recalls the night where they both submitted to each other... Neil's eyes diverts to his son who was playing with Avni's hand..

Neil : what is his name?

Avni : reyan...

Neil : reyan....

Avni : Neil you must be hurt that I didn't tell you about reyan but I had no choice keeping reyan away from you... I always thought you left me... and would except reyan as yours... I never knew if I was going to come to India or not... I was blind in revenge.. I wanted to take revenge from you and other people who hurt me... Neil I'm sorry...

Neil : you don't need to feel guilty or say sorry... who would want a guy like me? I'm kind of proud  of you keep reyan away from me.... I don't reyan near me when my health is not better... I can't even be angry with you because I gave you the pain.. I hurt you... why would you come back to me knowing the father of your child is the same man broke you and your trust...I have no right on you or him...you both seem happy without me which should continue .... You could find someone better Avni... I know you are trying to give us a chance but I don't want... I just want to be left alone.....

Neil got to leave but stopped as he felt a hand holding his wrist... he didn't turn around but knew who held his wrist..

Avni : Neil why are you pushing us knowing the truth? I want you back in our lives...

Neil turns around and looks at avni then at reyan who was closing his eyes...

Neil : you should keep him sleep...

Avni looks down and saw reyan trying to sleep.. avni still looking at Neil nodded her head..

Avni made rayan sleep then sat next Neil who sat in balcony starring the view..

Avni : Neil... can't we give each other another change... I was hurt by your betrayal... you were the only hope of my life... I never expected that betrayal for you Neil... I never did.. I always thought you are my love and always be... the pain, betrayal I went through forced me blind... I starts hating you... I did... Neil we know both we made mistake... can't we refrain the mistake.... I want you back in my life but because of Reyan... I want you in my life because I have realised much I hate I also love you... my love for you never faded even I wanted to... it never did Neil... I just realised it too late Neil... please Neil...

Neil : avni let me be honest... I have nothing now... I don't see my future ahead.. you would be aware of my health now... my health is not better... who knows my death is a step ahead... I don't want to give you false hope avni... you should forget me and move on.. but remember I have loved you in past and will always do...

Avni : Neil you can change yourself.... For us Neil... for reyan..... do you want him to deprived of father love... do you want him to have a father figure in his life? Do you want reyan to live his life without you Neil? Would it be easy for you to leave us.. Neil.. Neil I know what you are going through but for us give a chance to live... I want you back Neil...I really want us back.....

Neil looked away and closing his eyes let the tear roll down his cheeks... avni noticed that.. she just kept her head on his shoulder..
