Shivaay was watching her in keen when she started eating the breakfast which he had exclusively prepared for her . She without knowing this , kept relishing the food and failed to notice this man .

At one point she randomly viewed his plate which remained untouched, she looked up to soon grasp the curiosity in his eyes . She pressed her lips to control her light smile , and popped her brows showing a thumbs up .

Only after getting that gesture of appreciation from her , he began to eat but just after eating the very first morsel , he screamed.

S- oooo ooo !!!

Annika watched his round mouth when he was exhaling fastly.

A- kya huwa ?!

He just pointed the food , then his own mouth and did the same action for she finally realized what was going on .

Immediately she grabbed come cold water and peeped close to him.

A- hmm! While eating if you bury your eyes somewhere at outer space, this will only happen ! I'm stunned, how did you even fail to notice that big red chilli on your plate ?

Annika continued her comments and fed him some water but shivaay's face was still horrified. Already this long bright chilli has made him feel like a fire spitting dragon , on top of that he has to listen to his wife's so expected commentary session too - A very good start for the day . He cringed feeling his volcanic tongue while she emptied a glass of water into his mouth.

She then noticed those drops of tears flowing right away from his eyes .

A- why are you crying shivaay ?

S- jal raha hai !!

She sighed when he whined and shook his hands in air like a baby .

A- The Great Shivaay Singh Oberoi is crying because of one chilli? Bas , kuch nahi kuch nahi, teek hojayega.

Wiping his tears softly, she spoke some sweet words while he crushed his eyes and started blinking again and again .

S- annika!!!

A- arey , I'm right infront of you man . Why are you shouting like this ?

S- annika , your ...your hand . What did you touch before ...ahh , before touching my eyes ??

She looked a little confused watching his face running out of any standard reaction, but soon her puzzled look turned to show a supreme shock as if she just realized something.

A- I'm so sorry ! Mein, I was separating some chillies from the food in my plate tho...

S- ahh! Annika dusra haath use karthi na ...! , bahut jal raha hai

He was squeezing his eyes continuously ,she frowned .

A- shivaay open your eye and look , I can handle things with only one hand . Bool gayi tum? It's tied so tightly that I can hardly move it even , but you are blaming me as if I did it de

S- annika please keep continuing your speech , I desperately want to wash my face now .

Shivaay interrupted her train of words and spoke this in a pitiful manner before getting up when she immediately followed him back watching him stumble on not being able to open his eyes properly .

She was going to splash some water on his face when he shook his head in horror and moved back .

S- first wash your hand !!

Annika felt it so difficult to control her laughter after watching his so very terrified face , she pressed her lips against each other and washed her hand fully.

He kept crushing his eyes when she splashed the water there .

A- let's imagine , what would have you done if even I was not here ? Such a kid you are ! Don't move , kade raho .

She then wiped his eyes with a tissue .

S- if not you I would have actually stayed in some resort , tumhare

A- really? A lone room in resort? That would have been so boring.

She interrupted to speak her lines.

S- still, I would have atleast escaped this chilli catastrophe !

While binking so many times in irritation , he expressed his words. Annika already cracked up to pour the laughter which she had kept arrested all this time . Hearing her laughing aloud ,he slowly opened his eyes to only get bewitched by the sight infront.

Not just a good day rather a very good day it is ! It made him super joyous , her happy face . For a few seconds he stood right there and admired her like as if she was some antique piece kept in a museum , he even forgot to sense the irritation in his eyes in those moments.

Only when annika noticed his eyes glued on her like that, she suppressed her laugh to a good smile .

A- ok now ? How much is this ...no this , no no this ?

She enquired showing three different numbers in her fingers each time and shivaay just chuckled .

S- first 2 , then 4,after that 1 .

A - pass !

Showing a thumbs up she walked out of the restroom and he followed her .

Annika was lazily going through the magazines after when he had left , that's when she received a call from Adi . An immediate smile crept on her lips .

A - what a timing! Just when I was getting bored and thinking of calling you , tumne call kiya . We share a good wavelength monkey!

Ad - as expected , no hello ,hi ,hey . Directly monkey .

A- I'm used to it , sorry can't help . By the way monkey suits

Ad - bas bas , I'll forget what I got to tell you if you start your illogical logics .

A- whatever . Fine , I'm quite . Tell me .

She frowned when he remained quite .

A- Adi , open your monkey mouth and say something !

Ad - wait yaar ! I wish you were here with me . You would have easily guessed it through my face then , but you just left happily to celebrate honeymoon with your Prince .

A- I'll send one knife for you in the next Goa to Mumbai express , don't forget to collect it ok ? Honeymoon , sugarmoon ! one second , how did you know that I'm in Goa with shivaay?

Ad - charu told me .

A- oooo! So she's speaking with you , not bad .

Grasping the differently happy tone of his voice , she questioned to only hear silence again .

A- oh my god !! Glad that I can't see your face now .

Ad - annika !

She heard his immediate whine and chuckled.

A- ok ok blushing monkey , now bathao story kya hai ? I'm sure it's related to charu , so quickly say it . I'm waiting impatiently.

Ad - charu ... I, I mean she ...

A- stop playing fill in the blanks and just say it already!

Ad - fine , charu ne muje I love you bola hai !

Annika's mouth opened in wide when she listened to his exclaiming voice. There was a happy feel captured on her face by then , she grinned.

A- wow !! After trying so much of stunts , finally ! Itne din mein vahan thi , but no improvement , and ab deko ...straightaway rocket shot maar diya. What brought this twisting change in my behna ?

Ad - bathoun?

A- are you waiting for some auspicious time , say it already monkey !

Ad - we met in a cafe yesterday, it was a coincidence though . She had actually come to meet the ...person , I mean you remember that sudden alliance right ?

A- haa haan .

Ad - usse milne aayi thi vo , aur vahan

Adi was shocked to find charu sitting face to face with some other guy who seemed to pass nice smiles to her randomly . He clenched his fist and got up from his table and that's when charu noticed him there . Her eyes went wide soon , this was seen by the man who looked back at Adi and then at her .

' you know him ?'

Charu blinked out from her trance and passed a nod .

C- hmm , he's my...my childhood friend.

' hello sir , aayiye yahan .'

He waved his hand to grab Adi's attention who first hesitated but then reached near their table.

' Hi I'm Rohan, Rohan Patel . Your friend's fiance '

Adi gulped that heavy painful lump in his throat and looked at charu who was already lost in him. Both shared a ingent eyelock where Adi's painful sight literally pricked and pierced everything in her . She bent down and wiped her lone tear before it could reach down her cheecks . Only when Rohan shaked hands with him , Adi knew that he was still alive , by heart and mind .

With great difficulty , he tried to speak.

Ad- ohh.

R- why don't you join us ? I don't know why , but your friend really looks super nervous. Maybe, you can help her , please .

Adi first denied but when Rohan insisted again, he couldn't say no and he sat beside him.

R- you see Mr ...I'm sorry your name?

Ad- I'm Aditya .

He replied with his sight down at nothing in particular.

R- Aditya , you know charu and I ...our's is going to be an arranged marriage. Our fathers have already decided, but mein ...I don't like this old fashion you know? So isliye, I was asking her for a date ...but vo mana kardiya. How can we move with each other if I don't know anything about her ? So I think you can help me , boliye aapki friend ki baare mein. He smiled asking this for charu just kept looking at Adi .

Sensing the prolonging silence , Rohan nudged his shoulder quickly.

R- hello Boss , I'm waiting. Bathayiye , kaun hai ye khoobsurat ladki?

Adi crushed this eyes lightly when Rohan pointed Charu and spoke in admiration.

Ad - she , Charu is a very simple girl .

Charu watched him without making a blink when he started .

Ad - but she's the most special girl one can ever get , you're very lucky I must say... Her priority scale always starts with her parents, she loves them a lot . Usko...usko joot pasand nahi . You will have to wait for years and years if you hurt her with a lie , so don't you dare to even think of lying to her after marriage.

Rohan chuckled hearing this while Adi continued his narration and kept watching her lovingly . She gulped and started biting her lips hardly .

Ad - she treasures her sister much. She does fight with her every time , but that's her way of showing love . A stubborn girl she is , if you do something which she doesn't want ...hogaya ! You're gone!

R- scary !

Rohan smiled and pretended to be scared while charu silently wiped her tears before anyone could notice.

Ad - but as her friend...as her neighbour, as her classmate...as her ...lo.

He stopped realizing what he was about say certainly.

Ad - I mean as a long time friend of her, one thing I'm sure of is ...charu cheeson ko express karna nahi jaanthi but that doesn't mean she hardly feels anything. You have to make effort to earn her trust . If only you strive and make it upto her heart once , ...there's no way she'll be able to push you out by herself. I've never seen anyone so truthful and sincere from heart like her , maybe isliye mein ...I don't deserve

Adi stopped his words right there and blinked to halt his hurt mind and heart which made him blabber so much . Charu looked an emotional mess at that moment . Indeed , none can know about her more than him ...more than her Adi .

Rohan stared confusedly as he didn't get to hear those last words correctly.

R- wow ! I'm impressed. Charu , I hope I fall in love with you one day , even if it's after our marriage.

Adi could no longer hold more , especially when Rohan started addressing this love and all. He felt continuous pangs hit his heart harshly.

Ad- teek hai phir , I'm sorry I got to go . Take care of my friend please.

He immediately got up and walked in hurry , charu was shocked. Within a blink she jumped out of her seat and ran behind him to grab his collars.

C- kya ? What are you doing haan ? You're leaving me ? Chodoge muje tum?
How dare you !!

She clutched his shirt and started slapping him on his face left and right .
A bewildered Rohan rushed to stop her .

R- charu , charu what are you doing ?

He tried to hold her but she was so strong and had pushed him away already .

C- bolo , chodoge muje !!?

Ad - tho phir? It's you who said ok to him , what do you expect of me now !

He shouted and jolted off her hands. She stared at him straightly with her eyes pouring down continuously.

Ad - it was always you ...! You who wanted to end us , end you and me . Pehle shivaay ke saath shaadi and now this . Tum tho kabi

C- I love you !!

He froze when he heard her shout and remained a statue until his eyes met her's .

C- pehle bi aur ab bi , whatever I did was for my parent's sake . The decision of marriage with shivaay was just a compromise which I was doing to myslef . Meine kuch bola nahi , dikaya nahi but...but I have always loved you only Adi . Just now you said that if I love someone by heart then I won't be able to hate them ever. You spoke ...you know so much about me but at last...you just gave up so easily? Mein jaanthi hoon , I hurt you a lot...so stubborn I was but vo sab ke baath mein kitna roya tuje pata hai ? If you're leaving me because of my rude behaviour ...I'm really sorry. Sorry Adi ! I love you Adi . Yahi sach hai .

She sobbed covering her face to soon feel herself in his arms. He hugged her so tightly that there remained merely any gap between the two. She threw her entire weight on him and cried , hiding her face inside his crook.

Ad - I'm sorry, sorry . I would neither leave you nor let you go ever , I love you ...love you so much charu !!

He kissed on her hair a several times and smiled wiping his happy tears.

Ad - everyone in the cafe started applauding you know ?

He ended the sentence with a chuckle .

A- and Rohan ? I haven't seen that man , but I can actually imagine a blurred face with an ' am I a joke to you ?! ' kind of reaction on it .

Ad - vo , that certainly happened . Like , he was stunned , but then we both genuinely apologised. Then , he was ...was ok I think .

A- so it's reverse psychology which finally worked with charu.

She let a huge sigh .

Ad - nahi annika , it's not something about strategy or plan . Whatever I said ,however I behaved in those few minutes was from within . I was really so broken knowing that she had accepted someone else , I didn't want to disturb her after that isliye aisa react kiya meine .

A- whoa, if you speak so seriously then I'm getting dubious. Is this really Mr.Monkey whom I'm talking with ?

Ad - yaar !

A- anyways Adi , kush hoon mein tumhare liye. Bahut !

Ad- sach mein annika , yesterday was so special for me . I won't ever forget that day !

As soon as he completed, her mind was involved somewhere else. She smiled faintly.

A- mein bi .

It was nearly 6 in the evening when shivaay returned , it was actually an early time for him . If he had been here alone , he would have known no day and no night rather just work. But now , he has got a dear wife to take care of , so work can stop within the scheduled time.

He travelled his eyes around to soon spot her right at the centre of the hall. She was standing with a virtual reality gadget fixed around her head. He smiled seeing her drawing some patterns in air as if she was trying to touch something. She twirled around and sprinted slowly pretending to chase . There was a beautiful smile arrested on her lips throughout which automatically made him happy .

He walked close to her who without knowing this, suddenly turned to stumble upon him and trip . But before she could touch the floor , his toned arms had already snaked her waist in firm . Her reactions changed immediately , she removed the gadget and looked at him who in turn watched her intently with a small grin attached to his lips constantly.

She then slowly wounded her left arm around his shoulder and supported herself to stand properly . Only when she bent down to glance his hands , he freed her hip .

S- sorry I think I disturbed you . You were enjoying something I guess , kya dek rahi thi ?

A- vo , nothing. It's just a visual of nature , trees ...water falls aise kuch. We actually use it for the patients .

S- paani itna pasand hai ?

He questioned with some curiosity in his eyes for which she nodded quickly.

A- hmm ! Bachpan se hi. Even the swimming pool at OM fascinates me so much you know ?

Shivaay was already smiling without his own realization after watching her eyes twinkle like that. He took the gadget from her hand and kept it on the couch .

S- come with me .

She was baffled when he held her wrist.

A- kahan ?

S- meine subah promise kiya na ?

He spoke glancing by the balcony once and she grinned immediately.

Annika started running like a kid as they neared the sea for he had to sprint along with her .

S - annika araam se .

A- I'm doing it araam se only shivaay , I can't run fastly . You know right !

She pointed her wounded knee while running, and shivaay sighed.

Annika's way of words , annika's way of giving answers ...how many ever times he gets used to it , still every single time ...the feel is different.

She closed her eyes and grinned happily, feeling the cold rush of those big tides landing on her feet calmly. Flashes of those days when her father used to roam right behind to just keep her in control infront of the waves ,were running in her mind . Just the word beach and all she could think of is her father . Even after begging a hundred times , there's no way he would leave her hands and let her go a further inside beyond his kind of safety limit line .

That kind of love , that kind of protection ,that kind of...

Just when she was reminiscing these things, a big wave threw itself on her and she almost lost her balance.

A different feel of love ,an exclusive feel of protection is what she felt right now when shivaay pulled her against such that she leans on him entirely.

S- you're ok ?

He enquired after watching her from top to bottom in concern. Her eyes shrinked lightly when she felt him adjusting his hold to get a firm grip around her waist.

She nodded maintaining the eyelock when another wave rushed in full force to push both down . She on him.

A- oh my god ! This shouldn't get wet .

She checked her tied arm thoroughly while he seemed nervous. This proximity did so much to him that he literally felt those what they call as the shivers, running down his spine .

She was going to get up when he pulled her again when a wave reached there slowly. Since he was below her , the light wave which ended lining the ground had already drenched his back fully .

S- ye wet hogayi tho ,

A- thanks .

She smiled at him before helping herself up and then lent her hand for him .

They both sat on the shore, she almost jumped back when he pulled her legs on his lap.

A- what , what are you doing?

He sighed .

S - annika , for your kind information , you have an injured knee .

He started dusting her legs after removing her slippers while all the time annika watched him in wonder.

S- septic hojayega phir .

Can she ever stop falling for this man ?

A mere gesture from him and it means everything to her. Why is she so weak to even show some anger and ignorance when it's something regarding him ?

A- itni kareeb kab aayi tum ?

He halted his work and looked up hearing her whisper to witness her eyes , her eyes which were yearning to know something.

S- matlab?

A- mere liye ye sab , it's ok . I don't want your help .

She said this and slowly withdrew her legs back , he seemed disheartened.

S- don't do this annika , hurt kar rahi ho muje tum .

A- I didn't do it to take any revenge , but you know I just remembered something now .

S- kya ?

A- tuje pata hai mein kitne hurt huwi thi when I came to know that you were totally fine in seeking help from charu for loan , but you never even thought of even speaki...no atleast informing me that aise ek problem hai annika . Our situations are different but the feeling is same , when you really want to do something from heart but you're just blindly being ignored .

She shrugged stating this and he didn't know what to say .

A- why would you hold this ego between us ? Wife hoon mein tumhara.

S- aisa nahi annika

She showed her palm , asking him to stop .

A- please shivaay . After everything , tum aur tera ego...vo sab ke baath tumne itne kareeb kaise kab aayi ? muje pata hi nahi chala . Ye jo tum kar rahe ho na mere liye , all this won't change anything.

S- annika , you think I'm pretending ,acting so that I can persuade and patch up with you ? Is that what you think about me ?

She smiled weakly.

A- no , I know you wouldn't do that. Yahan problem hi kuch aur hai , the time when I feel that you've broke the ego line between us , tab shayad hamare beech...

She halted her trail of words and got up to take a walk on the shore leaving him behind .

He didn't feel upset , he didn't feel sad , he didn't feel disappointed rather all he knew and felt was happiness . Joy in his heart . What kind of luck did god even shower on him that he got her in life ?! All he could grasp from her words were nothing but the pure inevitable love which she holds for him . Even when she proposed him for the first time , he did know that her feelings were true but the depth of the emotions she has for him couldn't be expressed through words which he understood only when days went by .

If not for this girl then for whom else he can even give his heart to ?

' Why do I feel that even my player has started playing? Shayad mein bhi tumse pyaar '

His thoughts were broken when she called his name , standing somewhere far .

A- shivaay , bulaya muje ?

An immediate grin appeared on his face,what sort of communication is this ....!

He shook his head.

He settled on the couch when she had gone to fresh up . Her mobile fixed onto the VR box fell on his sight , he felt eager to try it .

Fixing the gadget around his head , he resumed the video which she had been watching a while ago.

He immediately stood up and froze when the video started playing.

It was neither trees nor any falls .

It was his birthday video , one which OmRu had prepared for him, one which had all his childhood pictures and videos.

Shivaay now knew why she looked so happy while watching it ,and those patterns in air she did were, like maybe she was pulling his chubby cheeks.

He was surprised after watching the WhatsApp chat where she had asked Rudra to send that particular video .

Her kind of love for him is ...is something else .
