Shivaay sighed looking at time ticking 5 pm , this day really pulled a lot of his energy. Some of his new decisions which Tej thinks is unnecessary required his special attention . He didn't want to stand a black mark if anything goes wrong because on the whole , he would be the one to be blamed.

Never , Shivaay Singh Oberoi has no place for any claims as such in his domain of world. He signed the remaining files and closed it at once to much of his pleasure . Completed .

Grabbing the car keys , he stood up and picked the coat when suddenly her thoughts hit his mind as some plain droplets of rain popping down suddenly and leaving soon when the bright sun comes in defence . The main point here is there is no sun to play an obstacle to his thoughts where as if she resides on his mind , then his heart would automatically alarm the mind to start playing all their flashbacks consecutively.

He smiled , remembering their phone conversation. Poor she had to hear that from the conductor and she even had to travel standing , in that rushed bus . Soon he knew that he was going to pick her up from hospital today .

Well , he always asks her to take one car for work but she being the ever so peek of self - made attitude didn't approve . Before marriage , she used to travel with charu in her two- wheeler but that can't happen now. So it's bus and auto until she makes up to save a good amount which could buy her a brand new car. In that case she's yet to wait for some time, as just now for the wedding she had used her savings. Thus , every luxurious option can wait. That's her point .

' Dr , Dean has asked you to visit and check on a coma patient who has just revived. Here are his reports '

The nurse informed passing the file while annika leaned back and went through it keenly . This type of cases aren't new to her but rare. Coma patients will actually have a sudden restless response when they wake up and the procedure to handle them is sometimes different which only mind professionals like her can do .

This particular person is a suicide case , who jumped from the 3rd floor of his college building when the girl he loved rejected him for some reasons .

A- fine , I'll come. Ward no ?

Closing the file , she enquired casually.

' no - 302 in the second block Dr '

A- now slowly open your eyes Mr...Ishaan .

Stopping at the middle she checked the file again to confirm his name , and the patient struggled a little on sensing the sudden light which striked on his eyes when he opened them . He kept blinking.

That's when shivaay arrived there after knowing from the nurse that annika had duty in this block today . As per the usual convention, he wasn't allowed to enter the ward so he waited outside . Since she was seated facing the patient , she didn't notice him there while he leant on the wall and calmly captured those detailed gestures which she continued doing there inside .

The patient's family members who stood inside, immediately hopped to get near him but halted when annika signalled them to wait .

A- good , try getting up to sit back . Yeah, slowly.

When he stumbled to even move , she held his shoulder and supported him . He crushed his eyes totally when the beam of the setting sun light fell straight through the window. Annika neared to pull away his arms which he used as a shield from the peeing light.

A- it's ok , you'll be fine within a few minutes. Open your eyes ,

As she took his arms down slowly , he opened his eyes after much difficulties and saw her in sight who was just seated infront of him.

For a moment he froze and within the next few seconds he pulled her against him into a hug.

I - senami !! You're here ?!! I love you senami , love you so much . Please don't leave me . Please !

He cried holding her close when annika who first shrinked and tried pushing him away stopped her acts listening to this . Maybe he misunderstood her to be someone else . She just kept her arms down without touching him when he was entirely leaning onto her like a child .

Shivaay's crossed arms fell down in air as he watched this. There was no clear reaction on his face now . He did grasp that the patient was a little abnormal due to which he's behaving like that. But on the same time , annika's uneasy posture which he saw from back clearly mentioned that she was feeling uncomfortable. It did no good to him . He rushed inside .

And soon Ishaan's family members held him apart from her after a good struggle as he seemed really strong and vulnerable.

Annika jolted a little back when she finally got out of his hold and felt to have something hard onto lean on behind .

Rubbing her palm on the other arm , she turned back slightly to only witness shivaay standing just behind her, passing a concerned look against her .

Though she didn't expect him to suddenly turn up here , everything she did just then was to lean more on his chest such that her back entirely spread over his front . He who felt her shrinking self , pressed his palm over her shoulder as if he was assuring that he's here , with her .

Well ,in the past one year of practice she had never come across this kind of situation. Sessions, therapies , counsellings but this . This is new .

I- senami ! Senamika , please chodna math muje .

Leaping out his hand, ishaan tried to reach her but since his parents had been holding him from behind , he couldn't.

By the time , annika instructed the nurse to give him some dosage of tranquilizer so that he stays quite for sometime . These vulnerable activities just after recovery might cause any effect .

Annika stood silent when Ishaan's parents apologised to her . Then , she just walked out holding shivaay's hand , straight to her cabin .

S- annika ,

A- tum yahan ?

She cut him of in the middle and questioned.

S- I thought I could pick you today .

A- ohh thank you ! baito , I don't know what's even happening. I thought ki koi recovery stage ke liye , they required my consultation par , vo Ishaan

Pulling the chair from it's right place , she insisted him to sit and continued as she splashed some water on her face from the faucet basin which was present in the corner of the room .

Listening to her shivaay just reacted neutrally. It is true that he didn't like the way that person behaved with annika but maybe her profession was all about handling such people. As far as she's fine in her place , he is ok too . But he did feel her discomfort and nervousness back then .

S- you're ok ?

Narrowing his brows in concern , he enquired while she wiped her face with a napkin and looked upon him straightly.

If at all she would want to feel anyone's arms around her , it would be him , Him always . Just even the thought of someone else hugging her and naming her as love is something which is called terrible for her . If only he wasn't a patient then she knew what would have been Ishaan's state now . She knows to be tough with the wrong guys very well , but this ...

She opened her mouth to give a reply when someone knocked the door . It was the Dean .

A- yes Dr , please come in .

' Dr . Annika , I'd want to speak with you in lone '

He said passing a glance on shivaay who tried getting up but halted after feeling her hand on his shoulder.

A- no problem sir , he's my husband . He can know.

She declared after which the Dean decided to not argue on that . And he quietly took the seat beside shivaay while annika walked past them and took her place infront of the two .

' So , this patient Ishaan ...sees you as his lover Senamika . His parents told how he behaved with you . Thank God , he has finally awoke after nearly 6 months '

A- sir please , come to the point.

She interrupted.

' yeah that's what I'm saying , since you were the first person he saw after gaining his conscious, he has clearly knotted the last person he had seen until falling unconscious with you '

Shivaay heard everything and noted annika's blunt face.

A- so ?

' simple Dr , don't we do treatment with virtual reality for those who fear of dark and heights and everything? The same way , you have to blend to his imagination and start the first phase of treatment '

A- what ?!

' I know you haven't been practiced to do this, but I have faith that you can really bring him back .'

A- you want me to act as his girlfriend, lover ?!

She asked being offended by his statement while as the same moment shivaay turned his head slightly away to the other side without facing anyone .

' no ! If acting could help , we'll be in more trouble when he's back to normal. I just want the initial stage of the treatment to move with his own characters and slowly you can slip into his mind and make him believe what's right . What's real ! '

A- but I don't think ,

' you can , I know. '

He proclaimed when annika took her sceptical face till shivaay who in turn looked at her with a plain reaction as if he wanted her to decide by herself .

A- I'll decide on that .

' his parents are in grief from since past 6 months , as a doctor think of all this and take a good decision '

He stated this and left.

She sighed huge. Covering her face with her palms she looked at him inbetween the gap of her fingers .

A- what does he think ?! I ain't any virtual reality gadget . Pata nahi kya karoon , ...what do you say ?

He watched her keen gaze on him and cleared his throat to answer.

S- I don't think anything rather I feel something.

A- hmm?

Pulling the hands away from her face, she raised her eyebrows hearing his words .

S- I feel respect for you annika .

There was a clean smile on his face when he said this .

A- only now ? All these days you didn't respect me then ?

She asked this passing a daring look for which he bent down and chuckled.

S- nahi , aisa nahi . I didn't know that your job has such challenges too , you're indeed to be respected.

He announced and she immediately smiled , replying.

A- so , with your words I conclude that I can do this then . A challenge!

S - don't forget your Dean's words . You aren't supposed to actually act as his .....erghh that . So as a Doctor, do your duty .

He immediately replied as if he was alarming her the main point , well he certainly was doing that.

A- hmm. Ek minute, just now I realized something. Annika ...Senamika ! There's some resemblance in this right ?!

The same second he closed his eyes and shook his head slightly as though he was haunted by some voice of a ghost . He clearly didn't like the resemblance.

S- bas annika ,I think we shall leave now .

He increased his tone of volume to snatch her from those thoughts and caught her hand which lied on table .

Soon she noticed his wounded knuckles and small patches of peeled skin there .

A- haven't you applied anything to it yet ?Why are you like this shivaay !

She whined and picked some ointment from the kit there .

Applying it with atmost care that he could merely know even she's doing it, she crooked her eyes in that process . Noticing all this , he shook his head and smiled but soon smirked remembering something.

S- you know ? Actually this even didn't hurt me but when I carried you to the room last night . I almost thought I'd get a fracture in my arms !

He pretended to his words while she stopped blowing over his wound and her eyes alone moved upto him as her head was still bent down towards his hand .

A- you...car..ri.ed me ?

She looked angelic . For him , in this moment. Her stammered words , streaks of collapsed hair which tried hard to dance around in air and hide those sweet dagger like orbs . Everything, literally everything about this moment was so good.

S- yes .

He answered even forgetting for why he started this conversation certainly and dropped all ideas of teasing her .

And she was already cursing herself for falling asleep and not being able to remember anything. But wait , sleep helped her in one way though ,if not why this sadu man would have lent to carry her . She convinced herself but soon recalled his words and attacked.

A- wait ! What did you say ? Fracture ?! Haww ! I'm neither look a drum nor some spherical globe that you have to exaggerate of my weight so much .

She twisted her lips as soon as she finished and he didn't take any more time to reply.

S- indeed , you perfectly fit in my arms .

Still immersed in a trance of his own, he muttered these looking at her eyes straight while she didn't even know how to react .

Shock , surprise , shy ,... ok everything.

She bit her lips to control that jumping blush and concentrated to blow on his hand . Feeling a soft chill air hitting that pink area , he slightly hissed and pulled his hand to himself , finally out of his wonder land .

S- bas , it's fine now.

Saying this he got up and she , with the same light grin on her face followed him back .

Just when he was about to open the door he felt a tug on his elbow and turned .

He wriggled his eyebrows at her confusedly, while she looked at him keenly for a second before toeing up to coil her arms around his neck and settle for a hug .

Her chin landed perfectly on his shoulders and reflexly he did contribute too . Though it was a slow gesture , he did wrap his arms around to hold her waist .

A- I didn't like it when he...he hugged me . If during the treatment he tries to do anything like that , I...I won't...

Stopping it till that , she just pressed her nose on the fabric over his collar as though she sniffed .

She's a bit disturbed with this thought as it's the first time she's facing such a case , to involve into a character for a patient and support his/ her world of imagination is ok but the character of a lover ...? .

He remained silent capturing her words , she sounded really cute as a kid now .

She does fit in his arms perfectly , he had to agree that.

Well , that wasn't his only thought for now as those edged bunch of hair lining above her forehead was still wet which started dripping out to leak down through his neck when she hid her face there . That was something which grabbed all sorts of his sensations right now . Chill drops of liquid on which her breath came landing to evoke a more of anything called tension , a good feel of tension it seemed.

He stumbled a bit , when she almost put her weight upon him totally. She was already one her toes and now it seemed as though she was in air with only the support of his arms which snaked her waist .

Until now , he himslef didn't know that a hug could be as comfortable as this. He really didn't bother about all the erupting questions and emotions now , because feeling her in his arms rather felt ecstatic. That very feel brought a delighted tiny inch of smile on his face when he was ready to divert her from any worried thoughts .

S- so , you like hugging me ?

Her stomach collapsed to twist something in it when she heard his breeze like calm tone of voice .

She felt her heart pump to a thousand rate now . Indeed , it's she who took the first step but still a mere touch of his can leave her in shivers but now it isn't any mere touch rather she's here , actually feeling his entire chest colliding on her's. Her face turned as pink as those in pastels paints . Dull stream of the shade yet a beautiful colour resided on her cheecks when she had already started biting it from within.

How was she going to face him now ? She literally was stuck onto him , balanced by just few toe fingers which hardly gave any grip .

A feathered bird in his arms. Her chest waved in fast pace which he sensed .

As soon as his arms relaxed to loosen the grip around her , she pulled back and stood gazing down as though some long river ran across there .

Tucking her hair slowly, she bit her lips and tilted her head to just have the least glance of him and again looked down .

Watching her behaving like one little teenage girl , he smirked and rolled his tongue over his inner cheeks in pattern to present a charismatic face which she abruptly missed to see.

A- chalien ,

She spoke and walked past him to open the door .

S- seems like the antennae of the all india radio has been damaged , where's the bak bak annika ?

Following her behind he said this and jumped soon to walk along by her side while she turned back and frowned on not finding him behind but soon noticed him aside.

A- stop giving examples like me !

She voiced out and hurriedly settled inside the car in order to avoid any such enchanting gaze of his . And he stood by the bonnet for a few seconds , staring at her through the windshield before getting in .

She looked insanely affected by him , by his touch.

Sorry guys, I myslef don't know what's the precap so thought of giving an hint of the upcoming plot. This may not occur immediately but it will happen within the forthcoming chapters .
