When Charu came inside the hospital , she found shivaay there already . He was standing by the reception to enquire the ward number . She went towards him .

C - shivaay .

He turned and passed a nod after seeing her . When the receptionist checked with the system and mentioned the floor number , both didn't delay any further to rush upstairs.

Just when they reached near the ward , the Doctor came out from there with a pad and stood noting something keenly .

S- Dr ? Annika , how's she ?

The Doctor adjusted his specs and looked upon the both when he heard shivaay's sudden fast paced words .

Dr - you're her ?

S- husband , she's my wife . Is she alright ?

He replied within no time anticipating the Doctor's next words .

Dr - yeah , Dr. Annika is fine now. I think she didn't have anything since morning . Not everyone can hold on with an empty stomach whole day , and I think she gets dehydrated soon . Does she ?

S- no .

C- yes .

The Dr looked at the two alternatively while shivaay already passed a bewildered stare on charu who blinked at him once before facing the Doctor again .

C- yes Doctor , you're correct . She does get dehydrated soon, but that condition has been taken care of . She's ok now , then how suddenly?

Shivaay was entirely bemused hearing all this as till this day he had no idea of this problem.

Dr - yeah , I am not telling that she fainted due to dehydration , I'm sure not taking proper breakfast is her problem. I just asked to know if she had any deficiency in the past . Don't worry , she's absolutely fine , you can take her home . Just see that she doesn't skip her timely food , I've said this to her also . And Mr ...?

He trailed the word looking at shivaay which he noticed.

S- Shivaay .

Dr - Mr. Shivaay , I'd advice you to be aware of your wife's health history. This time, it isn't any big problem so it's fine but in future...maybe during her delivery period these all must he clarified to the Doctor . So be careful .

Hearing everything , shivaay nodded tightening his lips. Indeed , he should have known about it before hand but maybe be did become careless.

S- can we see her now ?

The Doctor smiled watching his desperate face.

Dr - sure .

As he opened the door and rushed in , charu stood near the door with a perplexed face watching the scene infront.

The so called patient was sitting erect with a mini snacks stall scattered on her bedsheet which covered upto her lap ,while with that very so innocent reaction on her  face she kept grinding something in her mouth in full force that her lips tended to move like a high- low swing .

She has closed her eyes and leaned back on the pillow , so she hardly noticed them inside .

It was only when shivaay sat near her on the cot , annika opened her eyes and looked the two , still munching the cookie like a zombie.

He was looking at her from top to bottom in concern while she passed a confused stare at him and charu .

A- tum dono? Did you come to visit someone  here in the hospital?

As she pressed the bed to sit back properly , he reflexly caught her hand and supported in comforting herself.

C - annika ? Did you really faint ?

Charu maintained her atmost dubious face after watching some empty cookie boxes kept on her lap in collection and two juice bottles lying aside her on the bed . One was half empty already.

Does a patient even do such things?

A- Oh my God ! Don't tell me , they called you because I fainted ?! Come on yaar , I'm perfectly fine now . I'm sure , nurse Padma would have done this. Vo ,

She stopped her words right there feeling his hand covering her left cheeck tenderly . Her lips automatically quivered a bit to withhold the occurring smile .

S- tu ...tum teek ho na ?

Her slightly parted lips closed the gap and she quickly blinked hearing his feared voice.

A- arey , I'm ok ! Actually I didn't completely faint , I was on my rounds duty when I suddenly slipped on the mopped floor and maybe... I was tired , phir so gayi shayad mein. And you know ? nowadays these people in hospitals are so money minded , aur deko ...they made me a patient to snatch bed fees from me ! From a staff of this hospital !!

At once Shivaay chuckled witnessing the way her eyes popped out when she exclaimed about the fees . Her imaginations are insane.

Annika who silently noticed the change in his expressions from worry to somewhat fine , smiled inwardly.

Charu deep sighed when she heard this not so good tale which her sister narrated just now .

C- and madam , what about this mini stall here ?

She walked near the bed and rounded her finger pointing the packets on annika's lap while shooting the question.

Annika narrowed her eyes at charu and entirely turned towards the side where he sat , before speaking .

A- deko na shivaay , vo actually as usual I got up late and I skipped my food in a hurry to leave for work . But as you know, I can't stay hungry right ? So I bought all these on the way . But before I could eat anything , I was totally held by work here. New patients ko attend karna hai , aur , I had to check all the medication files and rounds duty bi ... ! How much even one annika do ?

All the while shivaay kept nodding listening to her complain like a baby . And watching this whole scene charu couldn't certainly control her grin .

It really looked funny for her .

Then suddenly annika remembered something and turned towards charu .

A- hey charu , you didn't tell anyone right ? Maa ko dara tho nahi diya na ?!

When charu crushed her eyes to her question , annika already guessed everything.

C - annika ,

A- you know what ? Your name shouldn't be Charuka , ambulanceka horn !! aise hona chahiye tha , all the time you keep honking to everyone. Call maa and tell her I'm fine . Jaldi kar or by the time she comes , they will already discharge me and she'll have to visit an empty bed only . Kar naa! janvar,

C- arey kar rahi hoon na , wait , what did you say ?mein janvar hoon ? Just look around yourself . I've known that patients can't eat anything because of the bitter tongue but you ....!

A- did I say that I'm a patient ? Budhu,

C - shut ,

S- bas , stop it girls !

He shouted to halt this blastive commotion between the sisters.

A- shivaay , she

S- annika , chup !

She frowned and kept quite but still turned occasionally to pass a glare on charu who exactly did the same in return while dialling on her mobile.

Noticing this shivaay shook his head in horror . He held her chin firmly and pulled her face towards him , indicating her to not turn that side. She obeyed and silently fetched a sandwich parcel from her bag and unwrapped it while charu went outside the ward on not getting the damn signal there .

He smiled admiring the way she kept eating , not caring about anything else.

S- kya cheez ho tum ?! I was so scared yaar.

A- that's what I'm saying , ye charu bi

She couldn't complete her sentence when he slowly bent forward and attached his face on her arm.

Like , his both the hands were locked around her arm and his forehead was already touching the skin where her shoulder ends and upper arm starts .

Thanks to the sleeveless top , she can feel temperatures rising up feeling his breath and touch on her bare waxed hand .

She chewed the bread in slow motion .

He took a nice few minutes to just stay in that position , maybe he was convincing himslef. She is fine.

She opened and closed her mouth several times in process to even say anything. Then , she slowly forwarded her other hand to rub over his shoulder when at the same very second he looked up .

And it happened, he could already feel her palm on his cheeck, over his beard .

She gulped, she didn't plan for this but ...!

He could actually sense the soft skin of her thumb lying over the edge of his lips. Bringing his eyes down to notice this detail , he once again looked at her who was already watching him as if he is the only being on earth .

Like he is a treasure.

A- bahut dar gayi ?

He just let a puppy nod to her question and she instantly replied .

A- I'm fine shivaay . Don't worry ,it's just a normal problem .I ain't diagnosed with any deadly disease like Cancer and AIDS .

S- chup raho tum , Mad woman !

At once she felt his index finger standing a barrier on her lips . She frowned at his angered tone but still , she was somewhere happy with this reaction of his .

Because all  which she could gather from his eyes only mentioned one thing ,his anger transparented his concern, she grasped.

Slowly a smile arose on her face witnessing his fuming face through which he made a point clear ' don't you dare speak like this again ' . She could easily read this .

And without realizing that his finger was still kept on the same spot , she casually wet her lips to only widen her eyes the next moment.

She had certainly licked his finger....? Ok , a tiny little spot of his finger .

S- annika , you need something? To eat ?

He looked leastly bothered of it .

A- umm, jj juice .

By then he had already grabbed the bottle from the other side for which he actually peeped across her . In those seconds she just closed her eyes inhaling his scent which entered her nostrils to drive her insane .

She can never feel the normal her when he occurs to be close.

As he held the bottle she sipped the juice, but suddenly she choked and started coughing and he immediately patted on her head twice before rubbing her back .

S- araam se annika

Nodding to it , she coughed lightly while her entire vision was nothing but him . She loved they way he called her name now , the last ' a ' was hardly heard but he did pronounce it .

Oh My God , why is she so into finding details ...?!

Even the most tiny gesture of his is making a great impact in her which is declaring just one thing , She can never ever think of a life without this man .

He's becoming her weakness.

S- teek hai annika , be here while I speak to the Doctor .

Saying this he was about to get up when she instantly tugged his wrist .

A- jaa rahe ho ?

There was a kind of a lovely feel in her voice which he failed to notice .

S- haan , I'll have to ask about the medicines right ? I'll be back soon .

He pulled out her hold from his wrist and went from there while she let a huge sigh .

' It is true that I'm becoming so mad for you shivaay , indeed , I'm a Mad woman.'

As he went outside ,he found charu standing there leaning on the wall.

S- hey , what are you doing here ? You could have came in

C - kya karoon mera dhosth ? I didn't want to disturb the husband and wife inside the room . Some privacy tho banta hai ,

When she passed a teasing smile completing her statement , he was turning his sight on all sides but her with a constant grin on his face .

S- aisa kuch nahi ...! ...hey Charu , I wanted to ask this , you said something about annika's health when we spoke to the Doctor . Kya pata hai tumhe ?

Remembering their conversation with the Doctor, he asked this curiously.

C- nothing shivaay , annika had this dehydration problem when she was young but then at one point , she recovered fully and she's totally fine now. Tum jyada math socho , you saw her food stall right ? Usko achi se pata hai ki kab kya karna hai . Sometimes she might be careless but she knows to take care of her own self  , bachpan se aise hi hai vo. Dikthi nahi hai par bahut mature hai.

Shivaay who listened to her words keenly just let a nod .

S- Charuka praising Annika , good to hear this. Go inside then , but dare you both start your stupid fight again !

She rolled her eyes when be instructed clearly.

C- I don't know how you both would  fight , but our fight I mean myslef and annika, our's is the most dangerous one .

Muttering these she opened the door and went while shivaay just let a sigh shaking his head before walking towards the doctor's room.

Sisters !

Annika watched charu marching inside and taking a seat on the chair nearby.

A- spoke to maa ?

C- hmm,

A- teek hai , I don't want my behna to suffer from stomach ache . So come on, take only one .

Ordering her , annika lent the Jim-jam biscuit packet which charu immediately accepted with a wide grin dancing on her face.

C - kaisi ho ?

Taking a bite , charu traced her palm on annika's hand but immediately frowned.

C- you are warm . Fever hai kya tumhe ?

Annika shook her head at once.

A- lo kingkongka shuru! ....ye temperature increase ki keemat tum kya jaano Charuka !

She pretended the dramatic voice while Charuka chuckled not knowing the exact reason behind her sister's words .

Some hardly intimate moments with her prince , but she's already a degree up.

I don't care how complicated this gets , I still need you 💘

How was it? Sorry I think this chapter is short with a stream of just one scene . I'll try to give a long one next time , but I want to know how is it so far ?
