Nick's POV

"Dude, why are you so late!?" Yelled Zres when I pull up with my motorbike at our hang spot. Me being grumpy, I put away my motor and stomp up to the spot, on top of the roof. It's nice up here, in the middle of the city, on top of one of the many rooftops. We have ecsase to the whole city, every roof.

"A stupid women wouldn't cross the road when a car was even waiting for her!" I said frustraited. Zres and Uni are now laughing their asses of, and they would die a slow and painfull death if my gaze could kill.

"Wow Nick, you're eyes are really turning blue." Uni said. I look away again. I don' normaly look anyone straight in their eyes, that's why I mostly wear sunglasses.

"How long untill...?" Zres asks.

"When I turn 20." I said with a straight face, not letting them see how much it hurts me. It's pretty sad to know when you die, and I die pretty young. Your life just begins on you 21, and I die a year before that. I only have 1 year to make the best out of it.

"How did you get cursed, Heartbreaker?" Uni asks. I grin at the name he used. 'Heartbreaker', that's how the whole school knows me, a heartbreaking player with one mission:

To get everyone in my bed.

Ecxept my friends of course. It's a pretty boring mission, I know, but I only have one year to live, so I'm making it the best hear yet.

"Hello, Nick, are you there!?" Uni yells in my ear. i jump up and look at him, my eyes shooting fire to him.

"Dude, what the f*ck!" I yell. "Why did you do that?" Uni shrugs and put on his thousand dolar smile.

"Oh you know, not awnsereing my ques-" He begins, but a bird just flew on top of our roof, and Uni is distracted. He sneaked up behind the small bird, ears twitching and tail swoshing. He jumps, but the bird flew away, and Uni looked suprised at the bird, flying away.

Uni is the newest member of our little group. He was a jock at first, but he was kicked out for a reason unknown to me and Zres. He's a special creature, being half cat half human. He has blue ears and a blue tail, and he's pretty populair by the girls. Most boys are werewolfs, vampiers, demons, changers or just humans. I like boys who are werewolfs, they mostly have a submitive kink whilest having sex.

Girls are most likely to be half cat half human, elves, mermaids, changers, witch or just a human. In my opinion, the elves are pretty good at sex.

And me? I'm called a 'Cursed one'.

"You need to stop dreaming, you look like a schoolgirl in love!" Uni yells in my ears again. He scared me for a sec, but then I stand up and try to hit Uni, but he douges it.

Stupid cat reflexes.

"How did you get cursed?" Zres now asks, interested. I sigh, I don't want them to have their noses in my buisnes and life.

"I'll tell you another time, I don't care for now." I said lazily. I don't know why, but being with my friends only made me grumpier, and I only tryed to escape from the 'Grumpers', my parents.

"I need to go, untill tomorow!" I said, and I jump of the roof. A normal human wouldn't survive the fall, heck, even some creatures won't survive a fall this high. But a Cursed one cane only die of the curse that has been given them, not because of some stupid fall.

No, the only way to get rid of me, is by the curse.

"Untill tomorow!" Uni yells down. I thought I heared Zres growl, I think it means 'bye' or something, and I go to my motor.

I drive fast towards my home, almost knocking three people of their feet. I'm home in 15 minutes, where my mother stands in the doorway, looking pissed with her hands on her sides.

Welp, I know what comes next...

"Nick Barberian, where on earth have you been doing!?" She yells angerly. I sigh and put my motor in the garage and walk to my mother.

"Well!?" My mother said when I was finally in front of her.

"I was with friends." I said, going past her. My mother is a small, cubby women with the will power that can pick up a dinosaur and throw it a few miles away.

"You don't go and be 'with your friends' within the middle of our talk!" My mother yelled. I really don't care anymore. Since I'm cursed, I can't love anyone, not even my family. Only one thing can break the curse, the clishe is real, but it's true.

And from everything she could chose, it had to be something that doesn't exist.

Flashback

"Why don't you love me anymore?" Noare asks, tears forming in her eyes as she looks at me. I look at her, smirking at Fin, a demon boy, wrapping my arms around his waist. I sigh, Noare is impossible, how many times do I need totell her this?

"I don't love you anymore, I just don't, and I told you when we last met." I said, shrugging my shoulders, she looks furious at me, the one I first called 'My little witch...'

End of flashback

"Hello, I want awnsers now!" I snap out of my daydreaming state and look at my mom. Man, I need to stop daydreaming. I don't want this now, so I didn't awnser. She sighs and give up, finally.

"There are some left overs in the kitchen, you can warm them up." She said and walked upstairs, were my little sister propebly was playing with her dolls.

From everyone I loved before the curse, I hate it I can't love my little sister Lucy. She was dear to me, and it hurts me I can't love her anymore.

She's the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She has blue eyes and little dark red curls, she always puts a little hairband in. She had a car accident, where she lost her arm, and that made her even more special to me. She so sweet, but I don't feel any love towards her anymore.

It hurts more then you can imagen.

I always try my best, but it doesn't work, nothing helps against a heart of ice. Ecxept for a stupid mythical creature that doesn't exist. I walk to the kitchen and look at what my mother made.

Some fries with a salad and steak.

I warm the fries and steak up and begin to eat. Even the food tastes different, normal, I can't taste the love that my mother put into the cooking.

"Nickieeee!!!" A little voice behind me. I turn around to see the little, perfect blue eyes of Lucy. I smile to her the best I could, but my heart feels even colder then normal.

"Hey little buttercup!" I said, I stood up and spread my arms wide. Lucy runs up to me and crashes into my arms and hugs me. I pick her up and she giggles woth plesure, holding tightly onto me with her one arm. From the corner of my eye I see my mother looking at us, smiling.
She knows I'm cursed, but we aren't teling Lucy it, because it would break her heart to know that her brother doesn't love her, and will die within a year.

"And Nick, did you find it!?" She asks exited. I smile and put her down. I grab in my pocket, and take out a few coins. Lucy's eyes shine even brighter and I put the coins in her hand. Lucy storms off, to her room to put it with the other coins.

Lucy collects coins, and every time I find some, I give them to her. She loves paying with coins, rather then with paper money or a bank account, because she can count them this way.

"Your sister loves you, very much so." My mother said behind me. I stare to the ground again, a tear of pure anger and sadness rolls down my cheek, that's how much it hurts within me.

My heart of ice isn't melting that eazly, you need to be carefull it you don't break it.

"I know, I try me best, and now leave me alone." I said, and I walk upstairs. I didn't even want to eat in the first place. I walk to my room and open the door. I go and sit on my red bedsheats and look out the window, where I have a beautiful view of the forest, just outside of our city. Well it was beautiful when I cared.

I would give everything to love again, even if it's only for the view, or the wonderfull food my mother makes. To love and care for my family and above all, my little sister.

Without love, live isn't worth living anymore...
