I shivered as I walked into the damp castle. James and Sirius lead the way as I fell in step with Remus and Peter with Henri at my heels like always. They led me into the Great Hall and I had to hold in a gasp. It was gorgeous. I focused on following the boys so I didn't get distracted. We approached Professor Dumbledore who greeted me with a warm smile.

"Miss Bernette, It's a pleasure for you to attend our school for your final two years of education."

I smiled and directed me to stand by him while the boys went to find their seats

"Attention students," He started and everyone turned to face us. My heartbeat picked up and Henri moved from behind me to sit in front of me. "Miss Rose Bernette will be joining us for her final years of schooling. Please give her a warm welcome." The students and staff clapped loudly making Henri shuffle a bit. "But what house will she join? Let the sorting begin!" The first years entered the hall and I was led to a stood with an old hat sitting on it. I lady in her 40s(Maybe) lifted the hat and directed for me to sit. She placed the hat on my head. I jumped as the hat began to talk in my head.

Ahh, You're not a first year. Well I guess it's never too late to come to Hogwarts these days. You have a big heart , yes indeed. You value Intelligence, yes. You are determined as well. But you are brave in your own way aren't you? You aren't afraid of your disorders. You embrace them. I think you would do best in GRYFFINDOR!!!!

I smiled as the hall erupted into cheers. The lady removed the hat from my head and I made my way over to the Gryffindor table. The boys were cheering loudly making as much noise as possible. Henri Laid under the table as the ceremony went on. After the feast it was time to head to the dorms. I stood up and I felt the all too familiar tightening sensation in my chest. I took deep breaths but I felt my heart rate dramatically pick up. Henri yelped and walked in circles around me not letting me move. The boys watched me nervously and I wanted nothing more but to escape the room. I couldn't breath and I sat back down on the bench. Tears slid down my cheeks as my chest burned something fierce. Henri barked loudly again trying to alert someone of my current state. I heard James call out for someone but everything was muffled. A girl set in front of me and took hold of both my hands.

"Deep breaths okay. Breath in 1...2...3..4. Hold your breath. 1...2...3..4...5..6..7 Breath out 1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8" She repeated this twice more and I calmed down.

"Thank you." I breathed still catching my breath slightly.

"No problem Rose, I'm Lily Evans." I smiled at her and The boys crouched in front of me with concerned looks on their faces.

"So that's why you have Henri." Sirius realized. Remus spoke up.

"I would never have guessed you had a panic disorder." Remus stated. I sent him a half smile. "I was diagnosed with anxiety when I was small after a life changing accident." He finished. I didn't ask what the accident was. That was for him to tell me not for me to pry. I looked to Lily.

"How did you know what to do?" she smiled.

"Lots of reading."

I laughed. I think i'm going to like her.
