It was night and nobody was at home except for our protagonists – Gauri and Omkara.

She was pacing in her room thinking of a nice way to avoid any further embarrassment before Om.

"Hum aaj bhi khud ko koste hai waha jaane ke liye. Mati maari gayi thi humari. Humne kya socha tha ki ye kaise honge aur kaise nikle. Upar se humari didi ke devar hai wo. Shankar ji kisi ko bhi aise din na dikhaye(I still blame myself for going to that club. I was expecting him to be a nice person but he turned out to be such a jerk. On top of that, he is my sister's brother in law. God never show anyone such day)" she bit her nails while Om stood there with a smile watching her intently and her actions

"You are talking about me?" he asked and her eyes grew widened

"Aap yaha? Hume nahi pata tha ki aap aise chirota hai ki dusro ki baatein chup chup ke sunte hai(You are here? I didn't know that you are a man who listens to someone without being noticed)" she taunted but he moved inside her room. He was wearing a tight torso and a trouser pant

"You don't even what kind of a man I am" his pace grew faster while she backed off

Her back hit the cupboard and he quickly placed his hands on her both side so that she cant run away

"Aap kya kar rahe hai(What are you doing?)" she huffed as he was too close to her face

"Karna to bohut kuch chahta hun bas waiting for your consent and I promise I wont even wait for a second" he said huskily. She could feel his hot breaths on her lips while she bit it

His face moved closer to her ears and he whispered seductively, "Your lips are so kissable" and it was doing things to her which she never felt before. Her body would be on fire if he do that move again.

"May I?" she simply closed her eyes. Taking it as permission, he was about to place his lips when a loud alarm ring was heard by Gauri

The sound was increasing with passing second and lazily Gauri opened her eyes and realized that he just had a sexual dream. Her mouth was dry and face all red like a beetroot

"Haaye, ye ka dekh rahe the hum, Chiii. Puja zyada karni padegi hume ab(What was I seeing? Now i need to pray even more)" she murmured a few curses to herself and went behind the loo to get freshen up

"Hume kalpana bhi nahi ki thi hum aisa sapna bhi dekh sakte hai, pura apavitra bana diya hume unhone, ab kaa kare? Kaise bache unse? Ab to naukri bhi yahi karni hai hume aur didi bhi nahi manegi ki hum kahi aur rahe(i cant believe that I saw such a dream. I have become impure because of him. WHat should I do now? How to save myself from him? Now I need to work here and even Anika sis wont allow me to stay somewhere else)" she kept blabbering and went out of the room when her legs slipped. She was about to fall, "Hey shankar ji" but strong arms held her protectively by waist. Her eyes were closed tightly.

Slowly she opened her eyes and it met with the brown hazel eyes of the man who captured her even in her dreams. They were looking into each other's face without blinking. Suddenly he came into the world of reality and released her from his grip resulting in her falling on the ground on her bum

"Oouch, agr girana hi tha to bachaya kyu?(If you wanted to make me fall then why did you save me at first?)" she said but ignoring her he went to his room without even uttering a single word

"Inse to hum baad me nipat lenge(I ll see him later)" she said to herself and went down to have breakfast

On reaching down, she could only find Anika and not Shivaay or Rudra

"Didi, ye dono kaha hai?(Sis, where are these two?)" she inquired 

"Shivaay to subah hi kisi meeting ke liye chale gaye aur Rudra gym gaya hai, bas aata hi hoga(Shivaay has gone for some meeting in the morning itself while Rudra has gone to gym)" Anika replied

"Accha(ok)" Gauri said

"Tujhe kya hua(What happened to you?)" Anika asked

"Wo hum na kuch jaanna chahte the. Aap, Shivaay bhaiya aur Rudy bhaiya teeno hi kaafi happy family ki tarah rehte hai par Omkara ji...(Actually I wanted to know something. You, Shivaay and Rudra stay like a happy family but Omkara...)"

"I understand Gauri. Thoda weird dikhta hai(Its looks weird)" Anika sighed

"Kuch hua tha unke past me jisne unhe aisa bana diya?(Did something happened in his past which made him like this)?" Gauri hesitantly asked

"Listen Gauri, Om jaisa bhi hai uske piche wajah hai aur mai tujhe yahi suggest karungi ki in sab me mat par. Aur jitna ho sake usse dur hi reh. Wo bohut complicated hai(Listen Gauri, Om has a reason for being like this. You dont have to think about this. Stay away from him as much as possible as he is very complicated)" Anika said and Gauri preferred to keep mum

"Waise bhi wo sutta peete hai aur sharab bhi peete honge, hum kyu aise jhanjhat me pade?(He smokes and may be drinks also, I shouldnt fall into his life)" Gauri thought 

"Wo aaj hume jobs bhi dhundhna hai(I need to go to job interview as well)" Gauri said

"Par iski kya zarurat hai, Shivaay ka office hai na. Waise bhi vacancies hai to tujhe wahi mil jayegi(There is no need of it, Shivaay's office is there and there are vacancies as well. You will get there)" Anika said

"Nahi didi, ye galat hai. Hum apne bal pe naukri paana chahte hai na ki sifaarish me warna humari padhai ka kya matlab(No sis, this is wrong. I wanna get a job on the basis of my results. Otherwise whats the use of my education)" 

At that moment, Anika felt so proud of her sister.

At night, Gauri was scrolling a few offices where she could apply but nothing excited her. She loves artistic things and being a students of Arts, she believes in creativity. A mechanical job is not her cup of tea.

Anika entered the room with frowned lines but Gauri was so engrossed in work that she didnt realize

"Gauri, ek baat batani thi(Gauri, I wanted to say something)" Anika said

"Wo Shivaay, mujhe aur Rudra ko abhi urgent Pune jana padega. Shivaay ki bua ka accident ho gaya hai and quite critical(Me, Shivaay and Rudra will have to go to Pune as Shivaay's Aunt met with an accident and quite critical)" she said

Gauri understood the situation and replied, "theek hai didi, aap log jaiye, hum hai yaha(Ok sis, you go I am here only)" 

"Take care" anika said and went out

Gauri's mind clicked suddenly thats its now only she and him in the house

"Phas gaye" Gauri facepalmed herself
