NEILS POV:

I watched her sat upright on my sofa, staring blankly from one side of my apartment to the other. "You sure you don't want anything to eat as well?" I asked.
"No it's okay thank you, i've just ate." She softly responded, her eyes swiftly moving towards the kitchen as i turned the blender for the cold coffee on. I nodded and started to set up my laptop and folders on the work table for us to start, both the project but secretly I'm also ready to start her case.

AVNIS POV:

He finished setting up the work and returned to the blender with a soft smile painted on his face. I felt at peace, appreciating the way he welcomed me in. "KHANNAS COLD COFFEE IS SERVED!" he announced, scaring the living daylights out of me.
"What the fuck man, you couldn't have said that any louder by any chance? Could barely hear you." I snapped a reply, making him chuckle. He presented his surprisingly well presented drink to me before placing it on the coffee table nearest to me, and his on the other side.
"I must say, this looks like one nice cold coffee." I smirked, grabbing it from the coffee table. I placed my lips on the straw and low and behold, this cold coffee was damn amazing. "and it also tastes good, well done Neil, you've surprised me. I'd pay actual money for this." I continued.
"Knew you'd like it, but no need for the praise it's okay i get it i'm just amazing." He laughed with a grin on his face. "Anyways enough of the dilly dally, chalo ab shuroo karo madam."

I agreed and placed my coffee back on the coffee table. Or so I thought I did, until i heard a loud smash next to me.

Everything was going well until now, i really thought i was doing well, masking how messy my life is. However once that smashed, my heart beat instantly jumped up and I knew I'd just triggered myself.
