Ayush's POV

"Ayush" She came running to me and hugged me in fear.

I hugged her back and cupped her face.

"Peeyush" She lifted her hand and tried to point out someone among the crowd.

"What happened to your hand?"I caught her hand and looked at it.

"Nothing.." She whispered and looked into my eyes.

I peered into her soft dove eyes and her eyelashes are flattering in anxiety.

"Peeyush came again..." She muttered and shocked at her words.

I got an answer which I haven't expected.

I got a summons to arrest him in the next 24 hours and came here to share her good news.

I have waited for enough time but can't stop once I learned he assaulted my girl.

He deserves this for sure.

We made a plan to caught him while supplying drugs to some of the informers.

Now, we are allowed to put him behind bars.

I looked at her again and she gently released her from my hug.

"Are you sure?" I asked her again.

"Yes, "she nodded.

"Okay" I mumbled trying to smile at her a minute.

"Don't worry, I got a summons to arrest him in the coming 24 hours."

"We finally chased a big drug rocket," I said looking into her eyes.

"Riya" I spoke her name slowly dragging her out of her entangled thoughts.

"I am sorry" She caught my hand and gently pressed it.

"Why?" I whispered in her ear.

"For misunderstanding you..." She spoke honestly.

I don't know what to say but looked at her with a pale smile asking her to stop thinking much.

We walked through the back door and reached the counter.

A smile crept on my lips thinking of her words and I quickly clasped my hand with her.

"What would I do with you Ayush?"

"Yes, I never gave you a chance, Our relationship a chance?"

"I pity myself for it." She spoke something which I haven't expected at all.

"Will you take me out?" She asked me trying to smile a bit.

I nodded and smiled back.

"No problem, only if you are free." She said as if she realized something.

"Stupid" I tapped her head a bit and laughed a bit.

"Stupid" She pouted like a kid and everything seems so normal.

"Let's go" I smirked at her raising my eyebrow.

"Okay" She nodded laughing at my antics.

We walked towards the parking slot and she surprised to see my bike instead of zeep.

She looked at me crouching her eyebrows.

"Actually I wanted to ask you for a long drive in order to ease your anger."I pleaded.

She laughed richly and nodded her head pursing her lips.

"Devil" I caught her ear and she begged me holding her ear with her one hand and holding my hand with another one.

She smiled widely and I raised the accelerator in utter happiness for the new adventure.

She sat behind me, placing her hand on my shoulder gently pressing it.

My heart just stopped for a second, I clicked another selfie.

This time she widened her eyes out of surprise and I winked at her in the mirror.

She swallowed a chuckle about to escape from her lips and gently patted my shoulder asking me to move.

"Where are we going?" She asked soon we started traveling on the National highway.

"Surprise.." I barely whispered not in a mood to answer her question.

"Always mysterious.." She whined like a kid and I am enjoying her recklessness.

I saw her staring at me intensely through the mirror with an agape mouth.

She caught my goofy expression through the mirror and shut her agape mouth quickly keeping a sulky face.

For a second our actions looked like a couple, It gave me immense relief.

I felt proud of myself, I too have some effect on her and the thought made my heart flutter.

I drove for another ten more minutes and her recklessness has raised to peaks.

"Where are you taking me Buddhu?"She faked some anger.

"I told you a surprise Baby doll," I whispered and my voice became screechy.

She muttered something under her breath and her gentle rants are making me chuckle.

Her eyes widened soon I took the exact route and she knows where I am taking her to.

"Granny?"

"Did she come?" She squealed in joy.

"Yes Baby doll, She wants to meet you, her favorite grandchild," I said catching a glimpse of happiness on her face.

Her face is glowing where her eyes are startling like stars.

"Really? Granny wants to meet me?" This time her eyes shed a few tears.

"Yes Baby doll, Believe me, "I said stressing every word.

She stayed quiet smiling happily.

Seeing her happy after a long time made me relaxed amid these tensions.

I stopped my bike in front of granny's house and we got down.

"Will she talk to me? Is she still angry with me?"She asked with a pale face.

"How many times you are going to prove yourself stupid? you and your insecurities."I said a bit seriously.

She got offended by my words but smiled after the very next second.

This made me happy, She is back to her normal self.

"If I am stupid then what about you?"

"You are Stupid to the power of stupid." She glared at me.

"Oh really?" I asked nodding my head hiding my chuckle, pursing my lips.

"Yes" She said placing her hands on her waist nodding in return.

We both smiled at each and another for a second.

"I am tensed Ayush" She took a deep breath and caught my hand.

"Everything will be fine."I looked straight into her eyes and she stood peeping into my eyes.

We both know what we feel for each other still we need some time.

I broke our eye lock and she walked away without waiting for me.

I followed behind me and reached the door.

She took a deep sigh and rang the calling bell waiting for Granny to open the door.
