Virat broke the hug and kissed on Rahul's forehead.. Anu too did the same. They both wiped their own tears too.

Virat: Rah.. bahar chaloge? Hall me? Kal se room me hi ho

Rahul looked down and shook his head in no. He knew Harry and Jassi don't like him much with whom he could only discuss and share things as they are of his age but now it's not looking possible but he got his Bhaiya Bhabhi and he was as of now content with it. He really didn't want to bother anyone

Anu caressed his hair.

Anu: Rah.. bachcha kya hua? Bahar kyu nahi jana?

Rahul: I don't want to bother anyone with my presence..

Virat: None is bothered with your presence Rah.. Please never ever think like that

Rahul: Mujhe nahi Jana Bhaiya..

Virat and Anushka looked at each other and nodded.

Virat: Okay.. we won't force you. Jab man kare tab aana okay. Abhi batao kya khana hai?

Rahul: Jo bana ho woh..

Anu: Are lekin tumhe jo pasand ho woh banega to tumhe khane ka man karega na. Fever ki wajah se muh ka swaad chala jaata hai

Rahul: Mujhe kuchh bhi chalega bhabhi.. Aap kuchh bhi bana lijiye. Aap.. aap bhaiya ko jo pasand ho woh bana do main kha lunga

Anu: Achchha theek hai.. main dinner ki preparation dekh leti hoon.

Virat: Rah.. Do you want to use washroom now?

Rahul nodded in yes. Virat took him to washroom and once Rahul got freshen up he helped him to come back to bed and helped him sitting on the bed. He caressed his hair and Rahul Instinctively put his head on his shoulder. Virat smiled widely and caressed his hair.

Anu came out with a wide smile on her face and she was happily dancing while going towards kitchen.

Sakshi: Kya baat hai aaj koi bahut khush hai?

Anu twirled Sakshi making her chuckle. Rest all too were surprised seeing her this much happy.

Ritz: Are kya hua?

Anu twirled her too...

Anu: Ritz.. Ritz.. Ritz...

Ritz: Are kya hua?

Anu: Guess what??

Ritz: What??

Anu: Rah ne mujhe aur Vi ko accept kar liya.. He called us Bhaiya Bhabhi

She said while happy tears fell from her eyes..

Anu: She is our kiddo Ritz.. I am soo happy.. Aur Vi to Aaj duniya ka sabse khush insan hai..

All chuckled except two people and they were Jassi and Harry.. Though more Harry as Jassi was fine as far as This new member is away from stealing his Ro bhaiya but with Harry it was altogether a different case.. He anyways never in favour of sharing his love with anyone be it the love of a brother or a friend.. and here the new member has clearly stolen his Vi Bhai and Anu bhabhi..

Rohit saw Jassi was quite quiet..

Rohit: Jas.. You will always be my first kiddo. Noone can replace you bachcha..

Jassi: Sach..

Rohit: Of course baba.. And anyways he is Vi's kiddo..

Jassi: Vi Bhai ab humse pyaar nahi karenge kya?

Rohit: Nahi Jas.. Tumhari place tumhari hai.. lekin jo Naya aaya hai uski place uski hai. Ab mere dil me tumhari jagah hai lekin iska matlab yeh to nahi ki Harry ki nahi hai.. understood??

Jassi: Haan Ro bhaiya.. lekin that new guy is a bit weird you know..

Rohit: Take your time Jassi.. It's okay

Jassi nodded in yes.

Ritz came to Rohit..

Ritz: Yeh lo Sammy ko sambhalo. Main kitchen me hoon kam hai thoda

Rohit took Sammy who was looking here and there as if searching for someone

Rohit: Are what happened Baba? Kisko dhundh rahi ho?

Sammy looked at him then she looked here and there and then stopped looking at Virat's picture kept there in the nearby table. She started jumping towards it. Rohit understood it.

Rohit: Oh.. to aap apne Vi Chachu ko miss kar rahe ho.. come let's go to him.

Jassi too got up to join him which Rohit took it like he wanted to befriend Rahul but for Jassi, he wanted to keep an eye on Rahul till the time he himself didn't get surity that he is not gonna try to steal his Ro bhaiya

They came inside Rahul's room and found him sitting while keeping his head on Virat's shoulder. Seeing them, Rahul instantly started sitting straight but Virat held him and made him sit properly and calmly.

Rahul hold Virat's arm. Virat looked at him and found him looking quite scared.

Virat: Ro and Jassi hi hai Rah.. You remember na what I said.. As far as I am with you, you don't need to get scared.. then..??

Rahul still didn't leave his hand and Virat didn't press him much. He was also quite scared as him stressing much could result into him getting another Asthma attack. Virat patted Rahul's hold and blinked at him in assurance.

Rohit: Hey Vi.. Hi Rahul.. How are you feeling now?

Rahul (in low voice): Better B-Ro

Rohit: Vi.. Sammy was missing you

Rahul looked at Jassi and smiled a little. He put an effort from his side to Jassi too smiled back though a little but he too put an effort.. Just for Rohit.. He didn't want to disappoint him by not even trying.. and same was going for Rahul. He really didn't want to disappoint the person who made him feel like a family.. He knew how much team matters to Virat and so he was trying to take the first step..

RohiRat has seen the silent exchange of smiles and they both looked at each other happily.. May be like them their kiddos too become besties.. Sammy jumped onto Virat making him held her protectively.

Virat: Badmash.. Bilkul mere pe gayi hai Ro...

All chuckled and Rahul smiled.

Virat: Aww.. My Sammy boo was missing Vi Chachu.. Awwlie my baby..

Sammy giggled in his lap when her gaze fell on Rahul. She blinked at him for few times. She then crawled down from Virat's lap and went to Rahul and gently poked him on back of his hand.. Then she again did it.. All were looking at her antics confusingly. Sammy again did it and then put her hand over his just like yesterday and then started Clapping...

Jassi: Strange.. Yesterday only she was crying looking at him.. and by touching him and today she is clapping

Though there was again a ting of jealousy there in his voice.

Rohit now understood.

Rohit: Oh Now I got it. She would have felt his hand too hot.. kitna high fever tha isko.. May be that's why she started crying and we could not understand.. Baba.. you wanted us to check Rah Chachu?

Sammy clapped..

Virat: Aww.. my Sammy boo is soo pyaara..

Virat picked her and kissed her on her cheek. Sammy giggled again. Jassi felt jealous as he felt Sammy was liking Rahul more.

Rahul (softly): Thank you Sammy.. aapne mere baare me itna socha. Thank you B-Ro.. Sammy ko itna achchha sikha rahe ho aap

Rohit looked at Virat who was having a proud smile on his face.. This time even Rohit felt a bit jealous as Virat's kiddo was way too much decent to his own liking..

Rohit: Thank you but don't be so modest..

Jassi: Bhaiya chale?

Virat: Are betho na.. Abhi kaha dinner bhi bana hai..

Rohit: Are nahi.. Abhi jana hoga. Jaldi dinner karke nikalna hai. Phir yeh logo ko bhi air port ke liye nikalna hai na.. Ek hafte baad practice session shuru ho rahe hai tab aa jayenge wapas..

Virat: Are Haan.. mere dimag se nikal gaya..

Harry who has come to call them for dinner heard what Rohit said and what Virat said.. He couldn't stop himself from expressing his disliking

Harry: You were busy Vi Bhai.. kaise yaad rahega

Rohit (sternly): Harry... Behave..

Rahul looked down.

Virat: Leave it Ro.. Jealous hone se bahar aayenge tab samaj jayenge sab. And ab jao aur Jake pehle dinner kar lo

Rohit went taking Sammy and glaring at Harry.. Harry in turn glared at Rahul who was looking down and went from there stomping his foot. Jassi was sulking internally but went from there silently..

Rahul (in low voice): I am sorry Bhaiya.. I don't want to intrude between you and your brothers

Virat: You are my brother too Rah. And they should understand it. And unki jealousy harmless hai.. You don't worry.. This jealousy is in genes of ICT.. Chill okay..

Rahul nodded in yes though he was not sure but he agreed.. Rahul once again kept his head on Virat's shoulder holding his arm and he literally dozed off in few moments. Virat smiled. He made him lie down on the bed and covered him properly with blanket and then came out.

Rest all had dinner and chit chatted for a while and then they were leaving.. Rahul who has woken up too came out and met everyone. Though there was a cold shoulder by Jassi and Harry, he didn't argue.

Harry: Vi Bhai.. Sorry.. I didn't mean to hurt you

Virat: I know Harry..

Harry hugged him once and then left with RohIka.

Mahi: Cheeks.. I know you are very good as a brother but now you are a big brother so be careful and considerate okay

Virat: Ji Bhai

Sakshi: And you three take care of yourselves

Anu: Ji bhabhi

The Dhonis too left. Now it was Rahul and Virushka in the house.

Anu: Rah.. chalo dinner kar lo phir meds Leni hai na..

Rahul nodded in yes and settled on the dining table. Anu served him Khichdi.

Rahul: Aap logo ka?

Virat: Humne kha liya hai. Tum so Gaye the na to uthaya nahi. But I can give you company.. Waise bhi meri black coffee pine ka time hai

Rahul gave him a small smile. Rahul had his khichdi while Virat was having his black coffee. Once done, Anu forwarded his meds to Rahul and he took it.

Now they were sitting on the sofa.

Anu: Rah.. achchhe se rest karo okay. See aaj rest kiya to kitne zyada fresh lag rahe ho tum..

Rahul nodded in yes.

Virat: Rah.. TV dekhoge ?

Rahul shook his head in no. Suddenly he facepalmed himself and took out his phone.

Rahul: Bhabhi..

Anu: Haan

Rahul: Apki bank details chahiye. Woh.. Paise transfer karne hai Inhaler ke

Anu and Virat both looked at each other and then at him..

Anu: Rah.. Yeh.. kya.. kya bol rahe ho?

Rahul: Inhaler ke paise transfer karne hai. Phir main chala jaunga aur bhul gaya to?

Anu: Rah mujhe kuchh nahi chahiye

Virat: Haan Rah..

Rahul: Lekin...

Virat: Rah.. Yeh sab na team ke liye liya tha na woh hai.. Ab tum bhi team ka hissa ho na..

Rahul: BCCI jo medical suppliments, meds, inhalers sab dete hai woh?

Anu: Haan Rah woh hai . You don't need to pay for this okay kiddo

Rahul: Okay..

Rahul visibly looked more relaxed.

Rahul: Aur.. aur yaha se NCA kitna door hai?

Virat: NCA kyu? Usme to abhi ek week hai na?

Rahul: Main kab tak yaha rahunga? Sab apne apne Ghar..

His voice choked. Virushka looked at each other. Anu signed him to say something and stop his nonsense. This is HIS HOME too..

Rahul cleared his throat.

Rahul: Apne Ghar gaye to mujhe bhi to NCA Jana hoga na

Virat: To kya tumhare Bhaiya Bhabhi ka ghar tumhara Ghar nahi hai?

Rahul looked at him with wide eyes and shocked expression.

Rahul: Me.. me.. mera Gh.. Ghar???

Anu caressed his hair

Anu: Haan Rah.. tumne bola na hum tumhare Bhaiya Bhabhi hai to apne Bhaiya aur Bhabhi ke sath rehne me kya problem hai?

Rahul: Main.. Yaha.. kaise matlab..

Virat: You are staying here Rah.. Mujhe kuchh nahi sunna aur. Discussion khatam.

Tears collected in Rahul's eyes. He ran to his room making Virushka worried for him. They too ran after him.

Virushka saw him sitting on the bed trying hard to control his tears. They both sat on the bed at either side of him. Virat caressed his hair.

Virat: Rah..

Rahul: I can't stay here. I am an adult.. Not a kid.. I should take my responsibility.

Virat: Rah.. We don't want to hurt your self respect. But Rah.. abhi kuchh din to tum ruk hi sakte ho na yaha.. Tumhari tabiyat bhi theek ho rahi hai na

Rahul agreed on this. Virushka sighed.

Anu: Rah abhi rest karo okay.. baki hum kal baatein karte hai

Rahul nodded in yes and Virushka left from there.

Virat was pacing here and there in his room.

Anu: Vi..

Virat: How could he? How could he offer money? How could he say that he will not stay here how?

Anu: Vi calm down.. Usne wahi Kiya jo ek normal swabhiman wala insaan karta hai. Kya galat bola usne? I gave him Inhaler to usne uske paise..

She stopped and frowned

Anu: Lekin.. aisa kaise hua usko inhaler ke paise ke bare nahi pata?

Virat looked at her confusingly

Virat: Matlab?

Anu: Vi.. He has Asthama.. He must be knowing na ki uska inhaler kitne me aata hai

Virat too got into thinking. Anu looked at him determined.

Anu: Vi kuchh bhi karo I want his all details..

Virat: On it..

He called his manager Bunty and asked him to gather as much information as he could ASAP.

Virat: Lekin ab usko yaha kaise roke? Usne abhi Haan bola lekin I am pretty sure he was not convinced. Kal pakka yeh bolega ki ab theek hai woh.. NCA.. NCA Jana hai..

Virat's voice cracked at the end.

Anu: You don't worry.. I have a plan

Virat nodded in yes and went to Rahul's room. He found Rahul was in deep sleep.. He sat beside him and caressed his hair. He sighed. He rested his head on the headboard. He was about to doze off when he heard Rahul was mumbling something.

Rahul: Nahi.. main.. mujhe.. mujhe Jane do.. Maine.. maine.. kuchh nahi kiya.. Chhodo.. chhodo.. Bachao..

Rahul was breathing quite heavily.. Virat got scared seeing him like that. He held him closer to him.

Virat: Rah.. Rah.. sab theek hai bachcha.. Kuchh nahi hua.. koi nahi aayega apko hurt karne bachcha.. Bhaiya hai na Haan..

He kept telling sweet nothings in Rahul's ears which eventually started calming him down. Virat kept caressing his hair. He kissed on his forehead.

Virat (in mind): Pata nahi mera bachcha kis dard se guzra hai

Virat slept in a while still holding Rahul close to him.

On the other side, Anu was pressing hard to get all the medical reports of Rahul from the state board and finally she has got the email.

Anu checked the reports.. It was showing his Asthma but apart from it, there was nothing which require any medical attention. She frowned.

Anu: Mujhe aisa kyu lag raha hai ki itna kafi nahi hoga..

She then shrugged off the thoughts.

Anu: No.. no.. I should think positive. Rah is fine and usko kuchh nahi hua aur na kuchh hua hoga.. Haan..

She got up and went to see Rah and found him sleeping cuddling to Virat who has almost hid him in the hug. Her heart melted at it. She went from there mentally praying God to keep her boys always happy and together.

On the next day when Rahul woke up, he found himself cuddling to Virat. He felt safe and secured with him. He then slowly got up and found Virat was stirring in his sleep. Rahul reluctantly started caressing his hair to which Virat finally fell asleep again. Rahul smiled a bit wider. He then got up and went to freshen up.

Virat opened his eyes and smiled widely. He has woken up as soon as Rahul got up but he just layed down with closed eyes feeling lazy. But his that laziness made him experience one of the beautiful thing in this world.. His kiddo was expressing his love towards him.. He was on cloud 9999th right now..

Virat: My kiddo has a lot of love to offer.. But why aren't you able to express openly Rah?

Thinking all this, Virat went to his room to get freshen up.

Rahul got ready and has got that Virat might have woken up and has gone to this room to get ready so he just went out of his room and came in the hall only to find Virushka there waiting for him for the breakfast while sitting on the sofa.

Virat: Good morning Rah

Rahul: Good morning Bhaiya..

Anu: Good morning Rah

Rahul: Good morning Bhabhi

Virat: Rah.. aaj practice pe ja rahe ho kya?

Rahul shook his head in no. His facial expressions changed because of the question

Anu: To phir yeh practice ke kapde kyu pehne hai?

Rahul: Woh mere regular kapde abhi bhi gile hai. Mausam theek nahi hai na to

Virat: Are to..

He stopped mid way as he realised the seriousness of the situation. Tears collected in his eyes but he composed himself. Rahul was looking down. Anu quickly wiped the tears which escaped her eyes.

Virat cleared his throat.

Virat: Rah come here bachcha..

Rahul came there still looking down. Virat made him sit between him and Anu. He caressed his hair.

Virat: You earn match fees right?

Rahul nodded in yes

Virat: Then why didn't you purchase more clothes?

Rahul: Fees pay karni thi

Virat: College ki?

Rahul shook his head in no

Anu: To?

Rahul: Or.. Orphanage ki.. Aur phir kapde lene the lekin mera yaha aana ho gaya..

Virushka's heart skipped a beat hearing this. They were still stuck at Orphanage.

Virat: Lekin waha pe to donation aata hoga na

Rahul nodded in yes

Virat: Kaun sa orphanage?

Rahul stiffened. His breathing hitched but he took a deep breath and shook his head vigorously. Virat started rubbing his back

Virat: Okay okay calm down.. Koi nahi leke jayega tumhe waha.. calm down okay

Rahul: Aapke Nazar me koi PG hai? Jo temporary rehne de

Anu: Tum yahi ruk jao na Rah..

Rahul: Lekin main aise kaise.. mera man nahi manega..

Anu: Are to PG ke paise hume de dena khush.. We don't want to hurt your self respect Rah

Rahul: Lekin main rent pe bhi apke iss ghar ka room nahi le sakta.. It's too luxurious..

Virat: Are to mere teammate ko discount bhi to milega na

Rahul: Haan lekin woh bhi bahut zyada hai Bhaiya

Anu: Okay.. So let's do one thing

Anu: Rah.. You can help me in kitchen but you are not allowed to do any cleaning and washing duties.. bahut jaldi Sardi lagti hai tumhe and it's not good na

Rahul once again looked down.

Rahul: To main kitchen me aur kya help karunga? Khana banane doge aap? Main bana lunga khana..

Anu: Prepare karne me help karna and don't worry I will make sure you do your job properly. Aur kabhi kabhi khana bhi bana dena khush.. woh sab hum decide kar lenge kis din tum banaoge aur kis din nahi

Virat: Rah.. are you comfortable with us?

Rahul nodded in yes

Virat: Bas to phir.. Tum Nushkie ki madad kar dena.

Anu: Aur rent tum kitna doge?

Rahul said a figure and Virushka agreed instantly.

Anu: Ab breakfast kare I am soooooo hungry

She said while making a child like face and HulRat both chuckled. Virushka looked at Rahul surprisingly as he chuckled for the first time but they were happy too. They didn't make him realise he was chuckling else they knew he would stop.

They had breakfast and Rahul then helped Anu in winding up everything. Virat did the cleaning of the dishes.

Now again they settled on sofa as there was nothing to do.

Anu: Ab kya kare?

Rahul: Koi kam hai? Main help karu? Kapde fold karne hai? Lunch ki preparation karni hai? Cupboard set karna hai? Bedding karni hai?

He was piling up the questions and Virushka were surprised.

Virat: Are mere toofan mail ruk ja..

Rahul stopped

Rahul: Kya hua? Kuchh aur karna hai?

Virat: Isme se kuchh nahi karna hai. Hume shopping karni hai

Rahul: Shopping?? Oh groceries lani hogi na. Main le aau? Mujhe aata hai

Virat: Are maine bola na ruk ja toofan mail..

Rahul pouted

Virat: Aww.. You are looking so cute while pointing Rahuliya..

Rahul: What??

Virat: Your new nick name.. Rahuliya..

Rahul: Don't call me that. Pehle toofan mail aur ab yeh.. Bhabhi bolo Na inko..

Virat: Bhabhi ke chamche.. isme bhabhi ka bolna is not allowed.. Did I say anything between you and your bhabhi? No na.. Bas phir..

Rahul glared at him like a kid to which Virat burst into laugh. He couldn't help but pull his cheeks

Anu: Achchha ab shopping pe jana hai na?

Rahul: Aap dono ho aao na.

Virat (softly): Rah.. I understand you don't want to come to mall. But you need to purchase clothes bachcha..

Anu: That's true..

Rahul was about to say something but Virat stopped him..

Virat (softly): Rah.. Listen to me. We will purchase things in your budget. We will go by my car and will park it. Then we will walk and purchase things you need okay. And we will not pay for anything which you will buy. Ab to chaloge na?

Rahul nodded in yes

Virat: Main tumhare liye T-shirts leke aata hoon tumhe jo sahi Lage pahen lo.. aur isse pehle you start protesting, Mr Rahul we cannot go out with this Practice T-shirt and gain attention of people right?

Rahul nodded in yes

Anu: Wapas aake change kar lena theek hai?

Rahul nodded in yes with a small smile but there was an excitement twinkling in his eyes.

Virat came with several T-shirts but they all were of half sleeves

Rahul: Bhaiya..

Virat: Haan

Rahul: Can I get a full sleeve T-shirt? Half sleeve me yeh wala pahen lunga

He said showing Virat's T-shirt he has held in his hand.

Virat: But Rah.. garmi lagegi waha..

Rahul looked down

Rahul (in low voice): Please

Anu: Vi.. itni saari full sleeve T-shirt hai le aao na

She signed him to not press much and he nodded in yes.

Virat: Laya..

Virat brought a full sleeve T-shirt and Rahul liked it. He went to get ready.

Virat: We are doing right hai na?

Anu: Of course Vi.. And you and I we both have to keep an extra inhaler with us. Bheed me agar suffocation hua to..

Virat agreed and they both too got ready.

The trio set to go out.

Virat: Rah.. inhaler liya?

Rahul bit his tongue and went to his room and came back after taking it.

Anu: What's the budget Rah?

Rahul: Four - Five thousand??

It came out like question rather than sentence.

Virat: Done.. But we will try ki isme bhi bache okay..

Anu: Aur phir hum log bahar ka street food khayenge

Rahul: Lekin bahar ka kyu khana hai? Hum Ghar pe bana lenge na wapas aake khana

Virushka looked at him as if he has grown horns

Anu: Mere se to na bane khana bahar se aane ke baad..

Rahul: Main bana dunga

Virat: Are khana baad me banana abhi chale market?

Anu and Rahul agreed and they started going towards lift.

Rahul: Sidi se chale jate hai na..

Anu: Rah.. you are still recovering remember that

Rahul: Lift se jate hai

Anu: Good..

They came inside lift. Rahul hold Virat's arm to which he took him in a side hug.

Anu: Rah.. how come you didn't know the price of inhaler?

Rahul: Kafi time se Lena nahi pada tha.. Aur kuchh mahino me price to badh hi jati hai

Anu: Age se just ask me to bring it for you okay

Rahul nodded in yes

Virat: Okay so ready for the Shopping Spree guys??

Anu & Rahul (Excitedly): Ready...

Virat: Great.. Let's go then...

Saying so he started the car and they went towards the local market but Virat and Anushka were determined to make sure they don't hurt Rahul's self respect in their love towards him and at the same time they do not make him live in less than his need.. The boy is having many issues and they need to be addressed but apart from them, there are many external factors which needed to be addressed. His Financial Issue is one of the main concern. The boy has lost his hard earned money because of a stupid rule in orphanage and high rent for PGs.. But now they will make sure he will live his life happily with whatever financial status he has.

Rahul's bond with ICT will get stronger once they reached NCA. But before that he should have certain level of comfort with Virushka. So I am using his basic needs as things to increase his comfort.
