Luckily for Marley, she snuck in fairly easy. She started to get nervous, but she knew she was strong, and she knew she needed information — like who was still alive and who had died. She was struggling with the lack of confidence Hannah and Layla didn't have in her, and honestly, it hurt that all they saw of her is a teenager.
She took a couple steps forward, staring at the bars before glancing at the chains that held the Beta down.
"How the tables have turned," she chuckled, moving closer. Her heartbeat was calmed, and she was a woman on a mission. "Although, I don't think chains are enough compared to what you did to us."
The Beta bared his teeth, "Little Marley, aren't you always the talker." He couldn't help but smirk, "Unlike your mommy nowadays."
"My mother would rather not waste her words and something pathetic as you," Marley commented back, keeping her wolf under control. "She has more important people to speak to than a fake Beta, don't you think?"
"She won't be talking at all for long. You don't think the Alpha won't punish them for your actions, do you? You poor baby sister got a beating when I came back," he taunted.
Marley took a deep breath, her eyes flashed with worry for her sister. "You don't think I won't punish you and your Alpha for what they did to my family and pack, don't you? Plus, you will need all the healers you captured once I get there." Her eyes glowed, her wolf pushing to the surface, but she understood to stay calm in this situation. They needed information.
"Everything is tumbling down. Jasmine's deep dark secret is out. You are behind bars, and that weird doctor can't help you."
The Beta huffed, "Are you going to make a deal with me or something, Marley? Information for freedom?"
Marley shook her head, "I didn't know freedom was in your dictionary." She took a step closer to the Beta, "And no, I'm going to make sure you never have freedom again."
"How do you expect to take away my freedom when you still don't have yours? You may be out of that cell, but you are trapped in this war — the war where we have your weakness."
Marley chuckled, "I have a cure for it." Although the Beta didn't know, her powers have came, her and Hannah could cure wolves in commas from the affects of wolfsbane.
"Impossible," the Beta scoffed, but Alpha Marley could feel his heart rate spiking.
"The deal is, Beta," she spat, "the more truthful information you give me, the more food and water you shall get. I'm never going to offer you freedom. I'll only offer survival, and even then, you will never thrive in these cells or any prison you will go to."
The Beta laughed, "And why would I say anything to you?"
Marley squatted down, keeping eye contact with the rogue, "Because you will need medical care, and you won't get any of it. I don't care if you die, getting information from you is a bonus, but not something I desperately needed. I want to watch you suffer — the same way I did, the same way my family did, and the same way my pack did. The only difference is that you won't have the same ending as we do."
Before he could say a word, Marley left — very proud of what she accomplished. For the first time in her life, she saw that wolf's eyes flash with fear. For the first time, she wasn't at the mercy of his actions and evil plans.
"Didn't think they would let a pup walk through these halls?" A yawn echoed, and Marley turned her attention to the voice. Doctor Eliza's murder was chained to the wall, in a similar matter as that Beta. "Won't you come visit me, little wolf?"
"I guess I have some spare time for something as disgusting as you," Marley rolled her eyes, moving towards another cell. "You look like very comfortable there."
The Doctor chains pulled his arms up, straining his muscles. He shook his head, "I'm just here to help you Marley."
The young Alpha laughed, "I think we have different definitions of help, don't you think?"
"Aren't you wondering about the Luna and your mate's past relationship?" He taunted, pushing Marley's buttons. He watch as Markey tried to keel a natural face, but she was slowly failing to do so. "Layla and Denice were more than best friends."
Marley let out a growl, "I don't care."
"You don't care how Layla chased after her, how Layla loves her?"
Marley squeezed her eyes shut, but she couldn't move to leave. She couldn't help buy remember how the Luna held her hand during the court meeting, and how her mate welcomed her touch.
"You don't think Layla is using you — after all, you did bring her back from the dead."
"You may be right," Marley started, "maybe she did love the Luna, and maybe they do have history."
He smirked.
"But," Marley added, "she has picked me first since I have gotten here. You wont manipulate me, and even of it is true, I have a war to finish."
"She's just using you," he snapped back, watching as Marley started to turn around. "She knows you would never betray your precious Moon Goddess!"
Marley didn't respond back as she walked away.

Sorry for the long wait, and the confusion with this chapter. I updated it so it made more sense. Life has been difficult at the moment, lost of couple friends due to car accidents and suicide. I had a lot of injuries over the school year, and haven't really gotten the best support system at my new school.
I hope you guys are doing well, and please don't hesitate to comment something you did. I enjoy having conversations with you.
QQ(#44): Should I start to add fluff between two certain people?
