Gabby was attempting to catch up with Marley, but to the Nurse's surprise, Marley was fast and agile. It wasn't long before Marley disappeared before her very own eyes.
"Nurse Gabby," a voice called out. Gabby barely had time to stop before she crashed into Jasmine. The Head Trainer raised her eyebrows, "What are you doing running through the forest?"
Gabby stared at her, clearly out of breath as she sprinted at an inhuman speed to catch up to Marley. "I could ask you why you're here too, you know," she crossed her arms over her chest. She had a very deep, deep gut feeling something bad was going to happen.
Jasmine was up to something.
"Aren't you supposed to be at your training session?"
The Head Trainer scoffed, "The Alpha moved me to border patrol. They needed an extra hand during this hour since a lot of groups are training. Don't make me ask again Gabby."
Gabby sighed in defeat, "I was talking to Marley, and she ran off. You know, with PTSD and everything. She panicked." The lie was simple, and Gabby watched as Jasmine believed it.
"Let's go," Jasmine snapped, "we apparently have a flight risk." The two of them started to run towards the border, but suddenly Jasmine took off, leaving Gabby behind.
"Wait, Jasmine!" Gabby yelled, trying to get the Head Trainers' attention, but it seemed like Jasmine had another thing in mind.
It didn't take long for Jasmine to find Marley at the border, staring at the distance.
Marley turned around, eyes widening. She opened her mouth before snapping it close like a fish. She blinked a couple of times, and before she knew it, Jasmine was reaching towards her neck, her claws sharpening.
It was pure luck when Marley dodged the blow.
"I should have killed you," she hissed, her eyes narrowing at Marley's form. "I knew you were going to cause problems for us."
Before Marley got ready herself, the Head Trainer tackled her to the ground. She threw punch after punch before Marley buckle her off. Jasmine had claw marks down her arm, bleeding into the ground.
When she looked back up to Marley, the young she-wolf's face was perfectly cleaned.
Healed.
Jasmine was shocked for a moment, and that was all Marley needed. The young Alpha shoot from the ground, directly at Jasmine. The Head Trainer whimpered when Marley's head hit her ribs.
Just then Gabby broke through the trees. "Stop," she ran faster, heading towards the two fighting. She couldn't believe her ears when she heard Jasmine snap at Marley.
She was going to kill her, and she had a chance before. She didn't know how, but she needed to separate the two.
When she reached them, Jasmine had flipped Marley to the ground, on top of her once again. Jasmine reached for Marley's throat, only to be shoved to the side. Marley watched as Gabby went flying over her, smashing into Jasmine.
Then Marley was forced to watched as Jasmine took a chunk of skin from Gabby's stomach. The scent of iron filled the air as Marley struggled to get up, tears in her eyes.
"Gabby!" Marley screamed, shaking the ground. She scrabbled to get up, crawling to Gabby's body.
Jasmine watched with a smile on her face. "Go back to your pack, Marley. Go back to the rogues."
Marley ignored her, feeling the same light inside of her that once saved Layla. She closed her eyes again, placing her hand on Gabby's wound.
Jasmine shook her head, not hearing about Layla's miracle. "We both know you can't do that, Marley. She's dead," she taunted, "and you killed her."
Marley forced herself to ignore her, to focus on saving Gabby. "Your scent is on her," Jasmine continued, "and everyone is going to blame you."
Before Jasmine's eyes, Gabby started to heal. She watches for a moment, feeling the same burst of power before throwing her leg out and kicking Marley in the face.
She spat out blood.
Jasmine could hear the patrol coming closer, and as Marley was barely staying awake from the blunt to the head, Jasmine yelled, "Quickly! Gabby's hurt!"
Jasmine bent down, picking up Marley by her shirt. She curled her fist before repeating throwing punch after punch.
Marley was barely conscious when the patrol arrived. Jasmine grunted at them, "Get Gabby to the Hospital now. I'm taking Marley to the Alpha. My suspicions were right."
With that Jasmine started dragging Marley towards the Alpha, a sly smirk on her face. With each step, Marley started to magically heal. "They will find out it was you," Marley whispered, coughing up blood.
Jasmine snickered, "They haven't found out a lot of things I've done, Little Alpha Marley. Why now?" She continued to drag Marley. "Hey!" She yelled at a group of warriors, "Get the Alpha!"

Yeah, Jasmine was always going to be the bad guy, but I'm curious as to what your first impression was.
Then Gabby. I felt terrible writing this chapter, but every story needs some drama. Forgive me, please.
Also, I have decided to rename this story Healing Hearts. I've been working on some new covers, and I wanted some feedback. Keep in mind I'm not the best at this. I'll probably make more or something, but this is what I have.
QQ (#27): What are your thoughts on Gabby?
I found out how to put a heart there. I'm kinda proud of myself for that.
