Kinkajou's PoV

When Kinkajou went to see Moonwatcher, she was gone, so she went to the library, idly wondering how much trouble she would be in when she had to face Webs. "Hi Starflight!" Kinkajou said happily.

"Hello Kinkajou." Starflight said, "What brings you here today?"

"Ummm, I was wondering, could I have that scroll, Cavern of Secrets?"

"Kinkajou!" said an exasperated Starflight, "You get that every week!"

"I know," Kinkajou said, "it's just so amazing!"

Starflight was about to speak when the bell for an assembly. He sighed, "Well you better go. Fatespeaker will be here shortly to escort me."

At the assembly, everyone was talking about what the emergency assembly could be about. "What if someone died?" asked Murky, a Mudwing.

"That's nothing!" yelped Lotus "One of my talons are chipped!" She held up her talons, which were painted pink and yellow.

"Ahem," Clay yelled, cupping his talons around his mouth. As things quieted down, he started, "We have come here tonight to announce to end of the first semester, coming in half a moon, after which we will have a three week break." Clay beamed at the crowd, "I wanted to say that I am proud of you all, despite several incidents, that you have decided to stay here with us."

Whoops and hollers followed this, Kinkajou herself was speechless, it seemed barely a week ago when she met Moon and the rest of the Jade Winglet.

Hiding from Webs, Kinkajou found Moon, yelled, "Wow!" and tackled her, falling into a fit of giggles.
