A New Villain

The heroes were quaking with fear. A small figure in the shadows of the abandoned warehouse stood before them, staring blankly.

They couldn't tell much about the figure, but they knew who he was. Emerald Phantom. He had a dark green hoodie, with the hood up, black leggings, leather fingerless gloves, a black face mask, and his signature goggles with green tinted glass.

He was a feared villain, who took away heros' quirks. Phantom had only come up around a month ago, but he had made a name for himself.

"You really had to come looking for me, huh? Your lucky, I don't have any quirk serum on me. Unfortunately, I don't exactly what to get captured.." Phantom sighed, pulling a knife from it's sheath before twirling it in his fingers.

The only hero who wasn't terrified was Endeavor, the hero leading the operation. "Tch, listen, villain. You're coming with us, either come along quietly, or we'll have to take you by force." Endeavor growled.

"I think I'll take the third option, escape." Phantom said, and threw the knife at the number two hero. It hit Endeavor in the shoulder

The villain then pulled out what looked like a gun, aimed upwards, and a grappling hook shot out, allowing him to swing away in escape.

Izuku stared up at the ceiling, thinking.

It had been so easy for the heros to find him. Luckily, that warehouse didn't contain any of his equipment. It was just where he launched his "attacks" from. He didn't like thinking of them as attacks. After all, if he took away everyone's quirks, no one would have to suffer.

But still.

He didn't like how the heros found him so fast. He'd have to make it harder for them to track him.

He slammed his head against the desk, unable to think of a solution. It would be easier if he knew how the heros found him. Unfortunately, he didn't. He had checked all his equipment for a tracker of some kind, but came up fruitless.

It was possible that they were able to track were he had been spotted as Emerald Phantom, and pinpointed the warehouse from there.

In that case, he'd have to go around in more areas, make sure he left no obvious pattern.

With that settled, Izuku sat down on his bed, sighing. He hadn't slept properly ever since he became a villain, since all his attacks and patrols had to be at night. Otherwise he'd be found out.

He decided that he could take a break tonight.

Hey, villains need rest too.

Bakugou knew that something was up. Deku hadn't been paying attention in class at all, would blatantly ignore him, clearly didn't sleep enough, and wasn't even enthusiastic about heros anymore.

He had been that way ever since he fell off that roof.

But Bakugou didn't care. If the nerd finally gave up on being a hero, that meant Deku stopped looking down on him. So it didn't matter.

Except it did matter, because the nerd was ignoring him. Bakugou would NOT stand for that.

"Oi, Deku!!" Bakugou yelled at him, only to be ignored yet again. He created an explosion on the boy's desk, finally gaining a reaction.

"O-oh h-hey K-k-Kacchan.. wh-what is it?" Deku studdered out.

"You've been ignoring me, thats what!! Don't start thinking your superior to me!!" Bakugou growled, setting off explosions in his hands.

Deku eyed the explosions nervously, "s-sorry..."

Bakugou clicked his tongue, before he grabbed Deku's shirt, throwing him down. He then started exploding Deku, who merely whimpered.

"You're just a worthless nobody, don't forget it!" He grinned. He found it satisfactory to put the nerd in his place. After all, someone had to do it.

Deku merely studdered out "I-I'm s-sorry, K-k-Kacchan! P-please, j-just leave me alone.."

It was then that Bakugou had an idea. It was not a good idea, as a warning.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Izuku was drowning. Kacchan was holding him underwater.
He knew he should fight back. He could've and should've. But he didn't.
Despite being a villain, he still didn't want Kacchan too get in trouble for it. So he stayed underwater, holding his breath on instinct.
He knew he couldn't keep it up much longer, if the dark spots taking over his vision was any indication.
Then the pressure of Kacchan's hand on his head disappeared. Izuku pulled his head out of the water quickly, gasping for air.
"Go, run away." Commanded a tired voice. He turned to the voice, only to see that it was directed at Kacchan, who followed the order quickly.
The owner of the voice was a boy, around his age. He was tall, (or Izuku was just short), had fluffy, purple hair, tired purple eyes with eye bags, and a sharp jaw line. He noticed a bike lying on the bank as well, and assumed it was the boy's.
"Wha- why?" Izuku said when he finally got his breath back.
"What? Do you think I'm just gonna watch some blond asshole drown a kid?" The purple haired boy responded.
Izuku shook his head, "well, no, but I'm quirkless. It shouldn't matter to you."
The purple haired boy looked at him blankly, before shrugging. "My quirk is considered villainous." He said.
"Well, I need to get going" the purple haired boy ran over to his bike, and rode away. Leaving him in the middle of the river.
It appeared that Izuku had another reason to think that quirks only caused suffering.
Emerald Phantom climbed up a pipe on the side of a building, ending up on the rooftop. He was about to test out a newer quirk serum, this one was designed to permanently remove any electricity based quirk.
He was hopping from rooftop to rooftop, scanning the streets for a newbie hero known as Volt, who tended to patrol this area.
Then he heard a distant scream in pain.
