Like any other usual day, Karina was at her campus. She don't know why but she always saw Winter at her campus, like... almost every day! Karina always has these kinds of thoughts inside her mind about Winter. Who the hell is she? Is she a stalker? Or someone who tried to befriend Karina for her money?

But, what Karina definitely know is that Winter was a human being that succeed to make her annoyed every day. Seeing Winter's face always makes Karina want to smack that one little cold girl's face.

"Gosh... Why do I need to see her face again today?", questioned Karina to herself after she saw Winter walking far away from her, ignoring all the hate comments she get from people around her right now.

While Karina was busy sipping her Americano, Aeri, and Yeji then came towards her with their panicked face.

"Rina, someone is looking for you", Aeri said.

"Who?", asked Karina.

"That's--", Yeji's words stopped when a man in a grey suit, stood right in front of Karina together with a bodyguard right next to him. The man smirked at Karina while putting his hands inside his pockets.

"D-Dad...", Karina was shocked when she saw her father, Mr. Yu was there right in front of her.

People around them were shocked when they saw the great Mr. Yu was there on their campus. His popularity is well-known in the country, but people also do know that Mr. Yu wasn't that nice, since he's also an arrogant businessman.

"Follow me", he said sternly while his bodyguard pulled one of Karina's hands with force, ignoring the fact that Karina hated it.

"Let me go!", Karina pulled her hand away roughly and looked into Mr. Yu's eyes with anger. But Mr. Yu doesn't seem to be taken aback by Karina either.

"I said... follow... me", he said again with his deadly eyes, clear enough with his cold and stern voice. Somehow his voice is loud enough to bring the whole attention towards the father and daughter right now. People are questioning, whether are they even in a real father-daughter relationship. They seem to hate each other a lot.

But it also brought little Kim's attention. Winter was shocked that this was the first time she saw that man in real person, but also gave her a lot of bad impression of him.

"What's going on?", Ningning ask as all of the people around them were looking at Karina's and Mr. Yu's direction.

Suddenly, Winter remembered Director Yu's words to her a few days ago.

"Don't let anyone hurt her again..."

"Even that 'anyone' is her own father..."

Looking at the situation right now, Winter could feel that something isn't right. But she couldn't do anything yet as the situation didn't allow her to do so.

"No! I don't want to!", Karina fights back as she starts to take a few steps away from her furious father.

"Karina Yu! This marriage means everything to me! My business gonna grow bigger if you just follow my order!", he said.

"No! I don't want to! Why should I marry someone I don't know? Why should I marry someone I don't love? Do you even care about my opinion?!"

SLAP!

People gasped everywhere after what they see. Mr. Yu slapping his own daughter right in front of everyone was one of the most embarrassing moments in Karina Yu's life. But it was better than marrying someone that Karina doesn't even know.

"I HATE YOU, DAD!!", Karina ran away with tears flowing continuously from her cheek as Aeri and Yeji followed right behind her.

"KARINA! YOU STUPID BRAT! COME BACK!!", Mr. Yu shouted.

Winter is stunned and totally lost her words. No. She's totally dumbfounded by the whole situation.

How can a father be so cruel?

Karina Yu.

Slapped in front of everyone.

Being embarrassed.

Telling everyone about the forced-marriage.

Just for... his business?

Is he even a father?

"Ning, I think I need to go", Winter said as she ran towards where Karina was going just now. Ningning just nods her head after seeing Winter leaving her sight. Then, she turns her focus back on Mr. Yu who currently massaging his own head.

"Now that man massaging his own dumb, foolish, stupid head", Ningning sighed.

Winter followed Karina's trace until she arrived in front of the stairs to the campus building's rooftop. Winter stopped for a moment to catch her breath again. She was tired from running too fast just now.

"What the hell...", Winter said with a huff. "Is she trying to kill herself right now?", Winter said through her breath. Then she continued to walk upstairs and found Aeri together with Yeji.

Also, Karina, standing on top of the railings.

So Karina really trying to kill herself right now, as Winter guessed just now?

"Rina! I'm begging you! If you are our friends... please come down from there!", Aeri said as she hugged herself, freezing from the cold breeze.

"Rina! Please, we can help!", Yeji said trying to walk closer to Karina.

"DON'T COME CLOSE OR I REALLY GONNA JUMP!", said Karina in tears.

"It's been twenty years, Yeji... I have been like this for twenty years... and I'm tired of all his bullshit! I'm tired of his foolishness! I'm tired of all this torture!", Karina continued.

"But you have us! We always gonna stand together with you! Please don't do this!", Aeri said.

"It's better for me to die....", a drop of tears came down from her cheek as Karina closed both her eyes tight.

"Than to marry someone I don't love...", Karina continued.

Then, Karina jumped.

"RINA!", both her friends shouted their hearts out, hearts felt like stopping, but suddenly a person out of nowhere came so fast in front of their eyes that both of them couldn't believe what they saw.

Karina slowly opened her eyes when she realized that she was floating-- actually held by someone. Karina then slowly look upwards to see that familiar face frowning while holding tight to one of her arms. Karina was dumbfounded. Why did she--

"She..."

"Y-You... don't... even...", said Winter with her frowning face, trying so hard not to let Karina fall down from that ten-floor building.

"Why did she...."

"You don't... erghh!", Winter groans, trying to get a better grip on Karina's arm.

"-even ask for.... my permission!", Winter start to pull Karina with all the energy she had right now.

"I didn't even... give you my permission... for you... arrghh! TO JUMP!", Winter successfully pulled Karina back inside the rooftop as both of them fell down on the rough ground together. Winter catches her breath heavily and Karina who keeps looking at Winter, is dumbfounded.

"I... hah.... didn't say that... hah... you can jump! Huh... Stupid!", Winter said with her eyes closed and frowning face.

"Next time... hah... before you do anything stupid... hah... ASK FOR MY PERMISSION FIRST!", Winter finally got up from the ground, looking intensely at Karina who still daydreaming, dumbfounded by what just happened.

"You two! Couldn't you take care of your friends better? I'm tired to look at her face again and again! Gosh...", Winter pointed her fingers at Aeri and Yeji, then finally walk away from the rooftop, leaving Aeri and Yeji in confusion while Karina still flat laying down on the ground, looking at the sky.

"Who does she think she is?", Yeji said.

"Yeah. Such a weirdo. Rina, did you know her?", Aeri ask Karina but Karina didn't even bother to answer her question.

"Aeri shut up! She just jump from the tenth-floor rooftop and do you think she's fine now? Rina was shocked by what just happened right now", Yeji whispered to Aeri with her smack.

"By the way, her strength just now was amazing tho. She could pull Karina up again just by herself", Yeji continued whispering in Aeri's ears.

"I know, right?", Aeri whispered back.

Karina was still on the ground for the next two minutes, feeling dumbfounded like never before.

"Why was she always there at times when I thought I want to die so bad?", Karina asked herself inside her mind.
