That night, Winter decided to bring Karina to her house since her house was much closer to Han River, also the fact that both of them were shivering in cold was kind of worrisome.

When they arrived home, Winter asked Karina to shower first in case Karina had a fever. Winter doesn't know why but after Karina's confession, Winter cannot hide how much she cares and prioritizes Karina in her daily life.

"But, you were shivering, Winter", the older said.

"No, I'm fine. You can go first" - Winter

Karina doesn't have much choice. She admitted she herself was shivering in the cold right now. Somehow looks kind of selfish herself, Karina goes ahead and takes the shower first.

12 pm at midnight, Karina could not sleep when she remembered what just happened to her. Today might be the best day in her entire life. Sometimes Karina smiled like an idiot, sometimes kicking her feet in the air, sometimes wiggling her hand like an octopus. Then later she heard...

Achoo!!

"Winter?", Karina heard that loud sneezing sound coming from Winter's room. Worried that Winter might get a fever for real, Karina worriedly walked until she was standing right in front of Winter's room. Then she knocked on the door slightly.

"Winter, are you alright?", Karina asked from outside. Moments later, Winter opened the door and looked at Karina with her sleepy eyes.

"I'm fine, Rina. Thanks for asking", Winter replied, but her words didn't assure Karina enough.

"No. You don't seem so. Your nose was red, also...", Karina put her palm on Winter's forehead and Karina was right. Winter really had a fever.

"You are sick!", Karina said.

"It's okay. I took some medicine earlier so it's gonna be better soon...", Winter answered.

"Let's not go to campus tomorrow", Karina said while smiling at Winter.

"No. You should go. Just leave me at home alone", Winter answered.

"No-no-no. Don't you remember? You are my body-- I mean, you are the healer! If you are not around, then who's gonna protect me?", Karina explained, trying to make her words as reasonable as possible to make her stay with the younger, or not guilt will wash over her later.

"How much more you need to skip classes... for me...", Winter said.

"Anything related to you is my priority now. No need to worry about it, and if I didn't graduate from university, I still can live tho", Karina said confidently.

"Geez. Rich people. Fine...", Winter said and entered her room again, while Karina followed Winter right behind until Winter lay herself on the bed again. Slowly, Karina shrugged herself to lie right next to Winter. Winter didn't even protest. She just let what Karina wanted to do. Winter really didn't care anymore.

"Uh... what are you doing?", Winter asked with her sleepy expression. Karina who was just beside her lifted her eyebrows up in confusion.

"Sleeping with you? Isn't that obvious enough?", Karina said, somehow asking Winter for her permission. Winter just sighed slightly, even tho her heart was beating like crazy when Karina was right beside her on the bed. But Winter tried to act cool as always.

Winter just kept her silence without answering Karina's question or making any noises. Instead, she turned her body around, trying not to face Karina for the moment. Hope she can sleep peacefully tonight.

"Then I take that as a yes! Goodnight Winter", Karina said happily and wrapped her body inside the big blanket belongs to Winter.

"Hmmm...", Winter simply answered and tried to drive herself to dreamland.

Karina woke up first in the morning, cooking some breakfast for Winter while Winter still sleeping in her room. Gladly her fever has cooled down a bit, somehow making Karina feel a bit relieved.

After done with her cooking, Karina had nothing to do anymore. She didn't want to wake Winter up cuz she knew that Winter needed to rest more, since she was sick. So Karina had no choice but to watch the TV by herself.

Karina watches the TV for 1 hour by herself, later she feels so bored when there's nothing more to watch. Then she got an idea. Since Winter's apartment has a rooftop, why not go up there to enjoy some fresh air and the view of the dusty city affected by air pollution?

Karina came out from the house, ALONE, going to the rooftop as she wished just now. When she arrived at the rooftop, she was amazed at how beautiful the view was from Winter's apartment complex.

"Wow... I wish I could see this every day", Karina smiled happily as she captured some pictures of the view with her phone.

For a few minutes, Karina enjoyed herself at the rooftop, but not until she heard footsteps coming nearer and nearer That's when she realized she made a BIG MISTAKE.

"I... came here.... alone..."

Karina runs to hide, somewhere on the rooftop, even though she doesn't know who's coming. But what she know, maybe she could be in great danger.

"Mwoya... didn't boss say she was somewhere here?", Karina heard a man's voice talking to another man.

"Maybe she already went downstairs?", the other man said.

"F*ck! If I found her I will kill her with my own hands!"

Hearing the word KILL, Karina knew something bad might happen to her if they saw her right now. At that moment, Karina could just pray to god that someone was going to save her.

When Winter woke up from her sleep, she couldn't find Karina anywhere inside the house. It became more disturbing when Winter saw Karina's shoes weren't there, but her pouch and handbag were still inside the house.

"Where the heck did she go?", growing anxious, Winter knew she needed to hurry.

Winter knew more than anyone else that Karina could be in great danger if she was alone. Since some man would try to find her, she might be kidnapped for the second time, or worse got to be killed.

Winter also know that someone paid those man to kidnap Karina for business purposes. Since Karina was a wealthy rich daughter of that crazy Mr. Yu, Winter knew that some people would do anything to get that much wealth, based on her investigations with Ningning this month.

Winter couldn't think of any other place except the rooftop. So she rushed there first in hurried. She could feel that her body was burning as the fever suddenly conquered her whole body again. Plus, she need to wear her black mask and leather jacket in that hot weather making her burn even more

"Karina Yu, you drive me crazy!!"

As Winter finally arrived at the rooftop, she saw two men wearing motorcycle helmets looking around. Did they try to find Karina? Winter thought inside her mind.

Luckily, Winter could find Karina's presence on the rooftop as she knew the rooftop area better than those two men. Winter could guess that Karina was hiding inside one of the empty metal barrels at the corner of the rooftop.

"Eheemmm!!", Winter coughing, trying to be obvious to bring those two men's attention to her. When they saw Winter standing not far away from them, they knew who they were going to confront right now.

"Huh? It's the Healer!", one of the men said.

"Get her!"

Both men ran towards Winter and one of them pulled out a knife from their hoodie. But Winter easily fought them and even tho she did receive some cuts on her skin, because of the knife.

Oh yeah. Winter didn't wear her cap at that time, also she didn't tie her hair in a ponytail. Maybe because she was too panic and worried about Karina until she forgot about that.

Finally, the two men were beaten with Winter's fierce kicks and punches. Winter stares at their eyes sharply, warning them to go.

"Sh*t... let's just go!", the man said and finally ran away from the scene.

Winter could feel, her body was totally out of the world. She's not alright at all. She wants to puke. Her head was dizzy as hell. Her body was so hot due to her fever.

But still, Winter headed to where Karina was hiding right now. She peeked inside the empty barrel to see Karina who was hugging her knee tight, shivering in scared.

"Karina...", Winter called her as she tried to catch her own breath.

Karina slowly lifted her head up to see a girl who was wearing a mask looking at her. Just by looking at her hair, Karina definitely knew who is that girl.

"W-Win... Winter...", her voice trembles in fear but seeing Winter there for her somehow washed the horror away from her a bit.
