Archer's POV

I watched from my hospital window as she stayed in her car . She didn't even turn it on . Shortly after she left , Venus got back.

"What are you doing baby?" She asked when she saw me standing . My face fell as I looked away from the car and stared at her face . I ignored her and walked to my bed taking the IV along with me . I sighed as I got comfortable. I closed my eyes ready to sleep . But , I felt her hand on my cheek . I opened my eyes and stared at her before I finally said .

"I almost died because of you." I searched her eyes and saw that she was hurt . "I know , Archer . I'm really sorry." She sobbed , holding my hand . I looked away from her .

"I'm sorry , I put you in a situation like that . I was angry and I wasn't really thinking at the moment ." She started . "No shit." I muttered . "I was angry , most importantly I was afraid. That you would fall for her . I know you love me . I know you do. You don't want to hurt me . You would do anything to make me happy but you're not in love with me. I know you aren't." She said finally . I was shocked and let her words sink in .

"Archer say something." She said pulling my chin to face her . I didn't budge . She sighed and put her head in her hands . I finally looked at her . She was right . I pulled her into a kiss for the last time and rested my forehead against hers and I licked my lips before I whispered in her . "I think it's best we break up Planet." I felt her tense up .

I leaned back as I studied her . A tear dropped from her eye , she wiped it away quickly . I frowned , I hated this . Seeing her in pain. Fuck! "You're right." She said finally . "It's best we break up . Because it won't be a love relationship anymore . It would just be that of pity." She spat . No doubt , she was upset .

She stood up and walked around . "You know , I've been waiting for this day to come though. I always knew you could never love me back. Congratulations Archer . You've fucking broken me once again. But this time , I understand why you did it and you know . I'm cool with it. It's fine . Enjoy your life Archer ." She said wiping her hands furiously against her eyes .

I got up and wrapped my hands around her waist . I felt her lean into me . "Venus?" She looked up at me . "I'm really sorry for hurting you. Again." I said looking at her feet . She just nodded and pushed me back to bed . I was actually surprised that she was handling our break up well. I tried to lighten up the mood by saying " Don't worry , I won't hurt Mercury ." She smiled and punched me playfully .

She sat back down and paused for few seconds and said . "Wow, I'm single back." I gave her a toothy smile . She rolled her eyes . "Okay so , note this . I never really like that tie and dye hoodie you picked for me . So I'm giving that back. The rest I'm keeping ." It was my time to roll my eyes . I remembered when I bought that one for her the time we went shopping.

"And also, I'm going back to U.K . I'm not needed here anymore ." She whispered. I snapped my head to her and rose my eyebrows. I would actually miss her . "Promise me we'll stay in touch Venus." I said . Yes I broke up with her . I still care for her though . She nodded and smiled . "I'll tell my sis and my parents about everything. I'm sure they would understand." I nodded and I was starting to feel sleepy . I looked at my window and wondered if she was still there . That thought vanished as soon as I felt Venus' lips on my forehead. I blacked out .
