RUHI

The sky is totally dark blazing with a few stars but it's not sufficient to remove the darkness. As much as I am trying to proceed on my way ,the darkness is engulfing me and surrounding more. My mind is not working as my only focus is on the child walking infront of me. He is a little boy around 3 years, his hairs r curly and he is gigging constantly which is attracting me to go towards him and take him in my arms pinching his cheeks.

"Come on , come on, catch me..."

He again shouted while running little away from me when I let out a yelp of amusement. "Don't go there, my little boy. I will give u a lot of chocolates."

I bent on my knees sitting on the ground and opened my arms indicating him to come and hug me. He grinned widely before coming to me taking myself in his little yet the most comforting embrace.
I caressed his hair while drawing soothing circles on his back.

"Where is your mummy ,my dear boy ?"
I asked breaking the hug to cup his cheek.

"Mummy!" He emphasized the word putting his little palm under his chin pretending to think. I raised my eyebrows to see his cute antics and chuckled in my mind.

"Here" He pointed at me when I looked at him confusingly.

"Umm...mmm...what r u saying dear?"

"U r my mummy "

He said and wrapped his hands around my neck when I got shocked and hugged him back. Leaving my thoughts aside, I picked him up and started walking again.

Suddenly, he slipped out of my arms and started running away.

"No, no, baby ,wait. Let me come. " I too ran behind him. He was only laughing as his sound of laughter echoed through the empty place. I too was giving him company in his laughing session. I was chasing and he was also running as fast as possible with his slow steps.

"Mummy, u r being slower. Come fast otherwise u would lose me. "

This sentence made me halted on my way as I felt my heart beating fast and a tear left from my eyes.

"No baby, I won't let u to go away from me at all. I am coming. "

I started running with all my speed when I abruptly tripped over something hard like rock and hugged the ground. He too stopped running and looked behind him to see me falling on the ground.

"Mummyyyyy!! " He cried and started coming towards me with his baby feet. But within a few minutes, a car moved and I found none infront of me only except the body of the little boy lying lifelessly on the road with blood flowing from his body. My eyes got blurred as I looked at him in my numb situation.

"NOOOOOOOOO" I cried loudly tear spilling from my eyes and sat up. I soon felt someone's hands clasping my shoulder to pull into something hard.

"NO, NO,NO. Oh my God!!! The boy!!! The little boy !!! "

My vision was getting blurred as the image of the boy was coming in my mind to make a shiver run through my whole body. But what felt comfortable was that I was being enveloped in a warm hug. I clutched the shirts of the person tightly not realizing who he was or neither caring about it also.

"Shh! Ruhi!! It's me ,your Krrish. Nothing to do worry. U r OK. " It's Krrish. Slowly I took a few more times to adjust where I was and what I was doing. I immediately hugged him tightly when I felt him to place a kiss on my temple. He broke the hug and cupped my cheek making me to look at him.

"Nothing, it's just a nightmare. Just forger it. "

He wiped my tears from my eyes when I was still sobbing. I hugged him tightly hiding my face on the crook of his neck.
After a couple of minutes , I controlled myself and remembered about my accident to Krrish and Manav's fight. My eyes widened in realization and I understood that I was in hospital. I broke the hug and tore up my gaze to my belly. I didn't know but somehow it ached to see my tummy. I kept my one hand on my tummy and looked at him with hopeful eyes to find him staring at me with a blank expression.

KRRISH

I followed her gaze towards her tummy when she looked at me with her eyes which were curious and questioning about something. I understood that she was suspecting something wrong and today I wouldn't hide anything by giving her another pain. I would tell at any cost and for it I am ready to do whatever it needs to do. But how am I going to say about the death of our little branch which even wasn't born and left us ? But I would tell obviously.

Gathering the courage, I slowly caught her hands in mine and caressed them softly. I gently pecked her forehead and took a deep breathe to calm my exciting nerve down.

"Ruhi, We have lost our BABY."

I finished looking down in shame how I had killed my own baby. I feel ashamed of myself for being such a dickhead and irresponsible person. I felt my eyes going teary but I blinked to control my cries. After a few minutes of silence, I got no response from Ruhi which scared me and I looked back at Ruhi who was sitting numb without no expression of grief.

I put my hands under her chin to make her look at me when finally, she let out her tears to float. In the fractions of seconds, she was holding me tightly crying bitterly. Her cries were loud enough to occupy the whole room when I tried to calm her down by comforting her and speaking soothing words.

"My nightmare came true. I lost my child. Oh God! Oh nooooooo! Omg !!! How am I gonna live now ? Noooooo, it can't be possible. Hey God ,plz say that it's all just a dream and after waking up from the dream, I could see my child again. Nooooooooo!!! "

She was literally screaming while hitting on my chest.

"Ruhi, it's true. U had a miscarriage. I know that it's hard to believe but we have to believe what the truth is. We have to be strong. Plz don't cry"

As soon as these words left from my mouth, she separated with jerk. I tried to reach out to her but she moved to the other side of the bed putting some distance between us glaring at me. Her eyes were puffy and glistening with tears. She harshly wiped her tears and glared at me with red eyes which were clearly showing the hatred and anger for me.

"U ,MR KRRISH CHAUHAN , today I have lost my unborn child only because of u. U have killed my child. U r not a human. U r a monster. U r beast. U r curse for us. U r so disgusting person."
Her each and every words were piercing my heart in a deep level but I knew that I deserve this hatred. And I would tolerate whatever she would say today without any words.

"Only because of you, a child couldn't come and see the colourful side of our world. He lost his life without coming out of his mother's womb even. How can u be so heartless? How dare u to snatch my child from us ? Why did u kill my child? Why did u do it ?"
She closed the distance between us and pulled me by holding the collar of my shirt.

"ANSWER ME, MR KRRISH. ANSWER ME. COME ON, DON'T BE SILENT. SPEAK UPPPP, U beastttt !!! " She started shaking me and left while covering her mouth with her both palms to suppress her overflowing emotions. I was only looking down and listening her words which were like triggers to me.Silence followed the room for sometimes as we both didn't speak anything to each other. Finally, Ruhi broke the silence by clearing her throat gaining my attention.

"I want to go away from u, Krrish. "

These words shattered my heart into pieces and I felt a knot tying inside my abdomen releasing a short of breathe.

"No" I wanted to cry loudly but words didn't leave like that. It came out as whisper. I couldn't leave her. It was impossible to live without her. Without any second thought, I inched closer to her so that our faces were close to each other.

"Plzzz ,no,Ruhi. "

"Yes Krrish." She also whispered and I touched my forehead against her and let out a whimper.

"No, I couldn't "

Saying this, I pulled her closer taking her lips in mine. The moment our lips got connected, I felt surreal and pure bliss. It was needed to ensure about the feelings of each other. I sucked and licked her lips softly pulling her lower lips with my teeth. She too replied in the kiss by kissing me deeply and holding my curls in her soft fist. I licked her lips and my tounge entered in her mouth to savor the moment as we kissed passionately for a long moment until we were out of breathe. I broke the kiss panting heavily looking at her where she was also staring at me. Getting some more oxygen, I again cupped her lips with mine kissing her more passionately as I pulled her to sit on my lap.
