Shivaay’s Cabin,

      Annika left from there murmuring somethig under her breath. Shivaay smirked and did his famous hair flick.

Shivaay-“Ab aayega maja”

      He said and smiled. He went to his desk and sat on his chair. He was thinking about Annika.

S-“Dekhte hai kitni derr rehti ho waha tum…. I know max to max 10-15 minutes rahogi. Phir haar maanke wapas aaogi. I have to tell Ramona to keep check on her.”

     He was about to call Ramona in his cabin when his phone rings. It was from Mishra.

S-“Haa Mishra. …..What?? Oh my god, I totally forgot about that meeting. Ok if they come before me, please ask them to wait. I am coming in half hour.”

Mishra-“Ok sir”

       Shivaay cuts the call.

S-“How can I forget about meeting with Mr. Mehra. I have to go now.”

      He grabbed his car keys from table and left the office in hurry.

In store room,
     Annika came to the ground floor. Whole area was dark and no one was there. She was so scared,but she wants to show him that she is not afraid of anyone and she don’t need him now to protect her everytime. She alone will be able to do all the things. She pushed the door and entered that room. It was small room and filled with so much dust. Annika coughed and entered in the room. She switched on her mobile flashlight and searched for the switch buttons. Once she found them in one corner she came and press the button but light didn’t came. She tried 2-3 times but of no use.

A-“What's this now?Ise bhi abhi kuch hona tha.”

      She looked around the whole room. Whole room is covered with darkness. She was so scared now. Due to that dust she didn’t able to breath properly.

A-“Annika you can do it. You are khidkitod Annika and you can do it.”

     Annika looked at whole room with the help of mobile flashlight  and saw one shelf there. She carefully went there and looked at the all files. She took one of those files and started her work.

Oberoi Industries,

S-“Mishra, now we got the deal” He said happily.

Mishra-“Yes Sir,congratulations”

S-“Hmm, now just focus on this project . This is very important for us.”

Mishra-“Yes sir”

S-“Ok, any work left?”

Mishra-“No Sir, not for today”

S-”Good.....ok I am going to new office. If anything is important then just call me”

Mishra-“Ok sir”

     Shivaay left his cabin and came out of the building. He sat in his car.

S-“I think I have to see whether Sahil is ok or not”

     He totally forgot about Annika means he forgot about the work he gave to Annika. He was so stressed about that meeting with Mr.Mehra so he forgot about that.

      He decided to go to Annika’s house to meet Sahil and starts his car. He stopped as his phone rings. It was from Om,

S-“Om…..”

Om-“shivaay come home fast”

S-“Why??What happedned? Is everything…..”

O-“Shivaay come fast please”

S-“But…..”

       Before Shivaay say something,Om cuts the call. Shivaay was confused now.

S-“What happened?Om itna tensed kyu lag raha tha?”

     He was worried now,he turned his car and drove towards Oberoi Mansion.

Oberoi Mansion,

      Shivaay parked his car in hurry and ran inside.

S-“Om…Om…..”

      He came in the main hall but no one was there.  One servant came there hearing his voice.

Servant-“Sir everyone is in Pinky mam’s room.”

S-“Maa…… what happened to maa?”

     Before that servant replied, Shivaay ran to the Pinky’s room.

Pinky’s room,

  Shivaay came there running but stopped at the door as he saw doctor there. Doctor was checking Pinky and all family members were present there.

S-“Maa.....”

     Evryone turned towards the door. Shivaay came inside and came to the doctor.

S-“What happened doctor?”

Doctor-“Mr Oberoi. Good news for you”

S-“Good news?” He was confused now.

Doctor-“I observed Mrs. Pinky Oberoi and I think she is coming back from coma”

S-“Whattt????”

     Shivaay said in shocked and happy tone and tears formed in his eyes. Om came to him and hugs him.

O-“Haa Shivaay. Before sometime, Gauri came here and she saw some movemnet in choti maa’s fingers.”

Jhanvi-“Yes so we called doctor here.”

     Shivaay looked at Pinky and then at doctor.

S-“Thank you thank you so much doctor.”

    He said and came to Pinky. He sat beside her on bed and kept his hand on hers.

S-“Maa….Aap sun sakti ho mujhe ab……”He said in happy tone.

Doctor-“Haa may be. She is not fully recovered,but her body is responding….. I think she will come back from coma soon”

      Shivaay looked at Pinky’s face.

S-“Mom, I am so happy today. I waited for this moment from last 20 days mom…..”

      He said and again tears formed in his eyes.Everyone was happy.

Daadi-“Haa hum sab kabse wait kr rahe the ki Pinky ki health me kuch changes ho”

Doctor-“Ha…She was not responding in last 15 days. But today she responded like unki jeene ka koi reason wapas mil gaya ho”

      Shivaay looked at the doctor.

S-"Reason??"

Doctor-“Last 15 days me aisa lag raha tha ki she don’t want to live…but today aisa lag raha hai ki unhe koi reason mil gaya phir se jeene ka, phir se khush hone ka.”

     Shivaay looked at Pinky’s face and doctors words started ringing in his ears….’Aaj kuch reason mil gaya ho phir jeene ka’…… He looked at Pinky thinking about something. After some seconds he smiled widely. He kissed Pinky’s forehead.

S-“I know that reason mom..... I knew it.....Pata hai mujhe ki woh person kaun hai jiske wajah se aap.....”

     He couldn't able to complete as again tears formed in his eyes.   Everyone was looking at him confused.

Daadi-“Kaun person Shivaay??”

Om-"Kiski baat kr raha hai Shivaay?"

      Shivaay who was looking at Pinky looked at daadi Om  and then he realized what he said.

S-“K…Kuch nhi…d…..daadi”

Daadi-"Toh what are you saying to Pinky?"

S-"Nothing daadi"

      He again looked at Pinky and smiled.

S(mind)-“Annika ke yaha aate hi aapne respond kiya na maa??... I know she is the reason"

     He was remembering Annika and was smiling looking at Pinky. All family members were looking at him confused. They asked him, but he was so lost that he didn't listen what others were asking. Shivaay was still looking at Pinky and thinking about Annika. But suddenly something striked in his mind. He  got up from the bed immediately.

S-“Oh my god…How can I forgot”
He said in loud voice.

D-“Kya hua Billu?”

S-“Daadi......mein.....mein..... Daadi , I have to go.. I am such a mad person. How can I forgot about her? I hope she is fine….”

      He said in one go that no one understood what he said. He rushed towards the door but Om held his shoulders,

O-“What happened Shivaay?”

S-“Om, I have to go. Bahut badi galti ho gayi mujhse. How can I? Pata nhi kaise bhul gaya mein itni badi baat . Mujhe jaana hoga, mujhe jaana hoga......agar kuch ho gaya toh mein jee nhi paaunga...”

      He said in low voice and he was looking so scared.

O-"Shivaay, is everything ok?"

S-"Mujhe jaana chahiye, mujhe jaana chahiye"

     He said and ran from there.

O-“Arre but Shivaay…..”

Daadi-“What happened to him? And Pinky ko chodke aur kya important kaam hai isko?”

O-“Kya pata?”

Shivaay’s office,

      It was 7 PM now and everyone was going to home. Shivaay parked his car and came out.

S-“5 hours ho gaye. I hope she is not there."

    Shivaay ran inside the office.  He looked at her desk and it was empty. He was scared now he was about to ask one of the employee that she left or not when he heard conversation between watchman and Ramona.

Watchaman-“But mam he is saying…..”

Ramona-“Ask him to come tomorrow”

Watchman-“Ok. Waise bhi waha ke lights ka kya fayda... store room me lights kis liye chahiye.....koi jaata bhi nhi waha. Kal lagalenge toh kya farak padega”

S-“What????”

    Shivaay shouted , all people looked at him. He came to the watchman and Ramona.

S-“Store room me light nhi hai?”

W-“Haa sir kal se nhi hai.”

S-“what?? Mujhe bataya kyu nhi tumne?”

R-“Excuse me sir, Why he.....”

S-“Ramona, Annika ghar gayi?

R-“Nahi I mean maine toh unhe dekha bhi nhi hai afternoon se may be gayi hogi.”

W-“No sir Annika mam toh nhi gayi ghar”

S-“Matlab woh….woh…..woh abhi…..”

      Shivaay ran towards the store room. It was fully dark there. He turned on his mobile's flashlight and came to the store room.

S-“Annika…..Annika”

     He coughed due to the dust there. He serached her in the room but she was not there.

S-“Thank god, she is not here. But where is she then?  I think chali gayi….. But mujhe uska presence feel ho raha hai. May be she is in the office.”

    He again looked around and tunred to go when something hits his leg. He turned flashlight towards floor and was shocked.....Annika was lying there unconcious.

S-“Annika.....”

     Shivaay sat on his knees and took her head on his lap.

S-“Annika utho Annika kya hua tumhe?”

      He patted her cheeks but she didn’t open her eyes.

S-“Annika…utho na”

     He rubbed her hands and again patted on her cheeks. But she didn’t respond.

S-“Annika look me aaya hu. I am sorry Annika me bhul gaya”

      He said and hugs her tightly.

S-“Annika utho na…. Naaraz ho gussa ho na…then fight kro mujhse,pani feko mujhpr,maaro mujhe pr bolo na Annika”

      He said and broke the hug. He again patted her cheeks but no response. He held her hand but her hand slipped from his. He looked at her, He was so scared. He tightly hugs her and started crying loudly.

S-“Annika..... Annika..... What happend? Annika open your eyes please..... Annika.....
Utho Annika.....No no , You can't leave me like this Annika...  I know it's my fault but don't give me this punishment.... , I Love You Annika.....wake up please... for me..... Annniiikkkaa.....”

     He was crying so loudly and was hugging her tightly. He was crying and taking her name and patting her cheeks to wake her up. He was crying and tears were faling from his eyes.

One drop came and falls on her cheek. Shivaay was still crying. Suddenly he feels some movement in her.

He broke the hug and looked at her. She moved her head and tried to open her eyes.

S-“Annika.....”

      She opened her eyes slowly and she saw his blurred face.

A-“Shiv…..Shiv.....aay“

    Shivaay cupped her face and kissed every where on her face. He was crying while doing that.

S-“Annika tumhe pata hai me kitna darr gaya tha…I thought I lost….”

      He looked at her face. She closed her eyes again. He again patted her cheeks.

S-“Annika…..Annika…what happened again? Annika utho na.....
    Ramona and other employees came there and looked at both of them.

R-“Sir”

     Shivaay who was crying hugging Annika looked at her.

R-What happened Sir?”

S-“Ramona go and call doctor...fast”

    He said and looked at Annika, who was unconcious again. He kissed her forehead and picked her up in his arms. He came out of the store room and went to his cabin.

Shivaay’s cabin,

      Shivaay came there with Annika in his arms. He kept her on the sofa there carefully and sat on the floor infront of her.

S-“Annika utho.....utho na”

       He sprinkled some water on her face but she didn’t wake up. Shivaay held her hand and kissed her forehead.

S-“Yeh sab meri wajah se hua hai Annika.....sab meri galti hai”

      He was crying holding her hand when dotor came there with Ramona. Shivaay immediaely stood up and asked doctor to check her. Doctor checked her.

S-“what happened doctor?"

Doctor-“Nothing Mr. Oberoi”

S-“Nothing??? So why she is unconcious??”

Doctor-“I mean nothing serious Mr. Oberoi. I think she is shocked by something or may be scared of something. Isliye behosh ho gayi. Otherwise she is fine."

     Shivaay sighed in relief.

Doctor-"Is she scared of darkness?"

S-"Yes doctor"

Doctor-"So why she went there? Thank god , she is ok.... But kuch bhi ho sakta tha"

S-"It's..... It's my fault doctor. Is she ok na? Kuch nhi hua na?"

Doctor-"She is ok. But be careful after this."

S-"Ye..... Yess doctor"

Doctor-"I gave her injection now. And please order these medicines."

S-"Ok...... Hosh kab aayega?"

Doctor-"Umm.... Half n hour me aa jayega don't worry."

S-"Ok thank you doctor"

Doctor-"Ok then I am leaving. Please take care of her. And haa please don't send her in darkness again, for whatever reason."

S-"Yes doctor. Phir nhi hoga"

    Doctor nodded and left with Ramona. Shivaay stood their looking at her face. His eyes falls on her hand which has bandage. Tears formed in his eyes again. He sat on floor in front of her.

S-"I am very bad Annika. Hamesha tumhe hurt krta rehta hu mein..... Aur tum.....tum....."

      He kissed her hand and then forehead and touched his forehead with hers. He sat in same position for sometime. Then he again sat on the floor.

     He was thinking about her. How he punished her. He remembered how he held her hand so tightly in that auction , that blood started oozing from her hand and then she fell unconscious. And today he asked her to go in store room. And again she fell unconscious.

     Shivaay closed his eyes. Only two scenes were coming to his mind, one when he held her hand so tightly in auction and second, when he send her to store room today.

                                                       
S-"What are you doing Shivaay....yeh jo tu kr raha kya sahi hai?? No no this is wrong Shivaay. You want to hurt her but not in this way Shivaay...Yes mein Annika ko takleef dena chahta tha, but aise..... In only 4-5 days, she suffered so much. How can I? Kaise kr sakta hu mein aisa apne hi jaan ke saath....."

      He was looking at her face with tears in her eyes.

S-"But mein yahi toh chahta tha ki Annika suffer kre..... Toh ab woh ho raha hai toh..... No no no, mein aisa nhi chahta tha , mein toh bas use sikhana chahta tha hamare pyaar ki value...Uske liye mein woh sab kr raha hu ki woh samajh jaaye, phir mujhe chodke na jaaye.....but yeh jo mein kr raha hu uske liye, agar iski wajah se hi woh durr gayi toh.... No no then I can't able to handle that again.... Iska matlab jo yeh mein kr raha hu, kya woh galat hai???"
