Sometimes, two people have to fall apart to realize how much they need to fall back together.....

At Hospital,

      Annika ran towards Shivaay who was standing near the window. Annika was about to call him when she noticed that he was talking with someone on the phone. So she stood there waiting for him to cut the call.

Shivaay(on phone)-"Yes Mishra, this deal is very very important to us. From last one month we didn't get any new project. So this is our second chance n we have to do our best. Jo bhi hamara loss hua hai na last month me, we have to work hard n we have to convert our loss in our profit."

      He said to Mishra. Annika felt his voice was serious.

A(mind)-"Loss?? But how?"

      She was thinking about it when Shivaay cuts the call and turned. He looked at her surprised. He then turned his gaze to other side and started walking when she called him,

A-"Shivaay....."

      A small smile crept on his lips when she called him Shivaay. But he hides it and turned to face her. Annika came to him and stood in front of him.

A-"Woh.....I am sorry...I mean Sir.."

S-"What?" He said showing attitude.

A-"I just want to say thank.....thank you.....Jo bhi aaj aapne kiya na....."

S-"Don't need to say thank you n all that. I did all that for Sahil and not for you."

A-"Yeah but Sahil is my brother and....."

S-"He is my brother too. He is like OmRu to me. Sahil is very important to me."

A-"Abhi bhi??" She said looking directly into his eyes. He looked at her for few seconds and then turned his gaze to other side.

S-"Sahil is my brother.....and he will be same for me forever."

A-"But whatever happened in last month n still you....."

S-"Don't connect everything to you. I said he is my brother not because he is your brother. Sahil mera bhai pehle bhi tha hamesha rahega. Kisibhi aur relation ke liye mein hamara relation kyu tod du"

      He said directly looking in her eyes. She only nodded and looked down.

S-"I have some important work. Driver will drop you both to your house."

A-"No thanks I will manage"

S-"I didn't ask you. Sahil is not well and mujhe uski fikar hai. If you don't want then you can go by auto or bus. But Sahil ko koi pareshani nhi honi chahiye. He will go by car only."

      Before Annika says something he turned to leave.

A-"Why you agreed to the operation? I mean we can do it after some days also. It's not necessary to do it now."

      Shivaay turned to her.

S-"Really?? Don't you know he is in so much pain already. Doctor said we have to do his surgery as soon as possible... And you are saying there is no need of surgery?"

A-"I am not saying this. I am just saying ki we can postpone it na"

S-"Why??"

A-"Because....umm....fees n....."

S-"You don't have to worry for that. I will handle it."

A-"But why? I am his sister and his responsibility is on my....."

S-"He is my brother and I am doing this for him. And his health come first."

A-"Yeah but....."

S-"But?? But what? Can't you see he is in so much pain but hiding it from you just because he knows you don't have money  for his surgery. And you.....kaisi behen ho tum..."

      Shivaay said angrily. Annika felt guilty and looked down. Shivaay looked at her and then regretted his words.

S-"Listen, Sahil ki surgery 15 days baad hi hogi. N I am paying all the money. And I am not doing all this to prove something. I am doing all this for my Sahil. He is my brother and I can do anything for him and no one will stop me."

      He said and she looked at him.

S-"Take care of Sahil."

      Shivaay said and left from there without looking at her as he knew she is crying and he don't want to see her crying. He thought if he stays there then he will forget everything and will hug her , pacifies her. And he don't want to fall weak. This is just a beginning and many more things are left.

      Tears formed in Annika's eyes and she sat there on one bench. His words were ringing in her ears.

A-"Why he is like this? He still loves Sahil like before. Abhi bhi use apna bhai maante hai, uski care krte hai. But why he did all those things to me? He don't want me in his life but he is caring for Sahil. Why?? Yeah I know Sahil is like OmRu for Shivaay. But still he is my brother , then why?"

      She sat there for some more time and then wiped her tears when something came in her mind. Her eyes widened in shock.

A-"What's this Annika? Don't think like that. But if it is true, then? No no why will he do that?? No no aisa nhi ho sakta. I am sure he is really worried for Sahil. "

       She told to herself  last line repeatedly and then composed herself and went towards Sahil's room. She was about to enter when she saw Shivaay there. Shivaay was sitting on bed beside Sahil and they were talking about something.

A-"Shivaay abhi tak yahi hai?"

     She said to herself and entered into the room. But something striked in her mind and she again came out of the room. She stood at the left corner of the room near door so that she can hear their conversation.

Inside the room,

S-"Don't you dare to do this again. I was so scared when Jay called me"

(Shivaay's one security guard to whom Shivaay gave responsibility of Sahil and who was there outside Annika's house all the time when Annika was not there in the house.)

A-"Jay? Who is Jay?" Annika asked to herself.

Sahil-"Haa all thanks to Jay Bhaiya..... He came inside when I shouted after I fell on the floor. He picked me up in his arms and came here. He was also so scared."

      Annika was confused now. What they are talking about. She didn't get it.

S-"See n you said that you don't need anyone to look after you. Thank god I didn't listen to you and ask Jay to stay near you all the time."

Sa-"Hmm.... Say thanks to him. N thank you aapko bhi"

S-"Apne bhai ko thanks nhi bolte. Now chalo take rest."

      Shivaay said and made Sahil lie on the bed and covered him with blanket.

Sa-"SSO you are best."

      Shivaay smiled.

S-"I know that. Now sleep."

Sa-"Hmm. SSO....."

S-"Yess??"

Sa-"I love you."

     Shivaay looked at him surprised.

S-"Really??"

Sa-"Ha n I love you more than any one else. Annika didi se bhi jyada."

      Shivaay smiled and kissed his forehead. Annika who was standing near door was shocked by listening this.

A-"Why he said like this?"

      Then she started thinking about all the happenings.

A-"Means.....jo mein soch rahi hu woh.....nhi nhi.....aisa nhi hoga..... But if it's true then??"

      Tears formed in her eyes and her head started spinning. She looked inside and saw Shivaay and Sahil laughing on something. She couldn't handle it anymore and left from there.

Inside the room,

S-"Aisa nhi bolte. We both loves you equally na.....then??... Didi ne suna toh...."

      Sahil bite his tongue.

Sa-"Toh tufaan aa jaayega"

      Shivaay laughed at this and Sahil also started laughing.

S-"Woh toh hai. Bass hua ha ab. Now sleep. And if you need anything just call me, ok?"

Sa-"Haa..... N take care of Annika didi. Don't shout at her."

S-"Mushkil hai, but I'll try."

      Shivaay said and winked. Soon Sahil closed his eyes and Shivaay left from there.

In evening,

       Annika and Sahil came home. Annika was lost somewhere and her mind was covered with so many questions and she don't know the answers of those questions. On the other side Sahil was continuously talking about Shivaay and Annika was frustrated and angry on him now. She told Sahil that don't talk about him but he didn't listen. And Annika's fear increased.

        Annika made soup for Sahil. She fed him soup and gave him his medicines.  She asked Sahil to sleep on sofa in the hall as whole house is in mess and she have to clean it. Sahil nodded and Annika covered him with blanket and she went inside to clean the bedroom.

      Annika was cleaning the bedroom and was keeping all things at it's place when her eyes caught something. She saw some sets of books and took those books in her hands.

A-"These are puzzle books....."

      Annika remembered that Sahil asked her to bring those books for him and she promised that she will bring them soon.

A-"But maine toh nhi laaye"

      She started thinking.

A-"Sahil , yeh puzzle books kon laaya?"

      She said in loud voice.

Sa-"SSO"

      He said in sleepy voice and Annika widened her eyes in shock. She then kept them in shelf and there was some drawing books with one big color box.

A-"Yeh color box n drawing books??"

      She shouted from inside.

Sa-"SSO hi laaye the kal"

       He said in sleepy voice. She rooted at her place and again her all thoughts which she was thinking from afternoon came in her mind. She was scared now. She kept all those things there and came to the hall to ask him about that but saw Sahil was already slept.

      Annika looked at him and then she remembered what Sahil and Shivaay said in the hospital. Tears formed in her eyes.

A-"That means...... What I was thinking is true?? Shivaay is trying to snatch Sahil from me??"

      She sat on the floor with thud. Tears started flowing from her eyes. She was thinking about same thing from the afternoon. When Sahil said he loves SSO more than Annika, her mind was sure about that and she started thinking about it. And she remembered that Shivaay said, he don't want her in his life anymore...... but then he is doing all these things for Sahil. Why??

A-"Kya sach me he wants to snatch Sahil from me? But why will he do that?"

      She was confused about all the things.

A-"Maybe he wants to see me alone and don't want anyone beside me. Yeah yahi chahte hai woh."

      Then she remembered his conversation with Mishra on phone.

A-"He said he is facing so much loss from last month. That day in auction everyone knows that me and Shivaay are not together and  then all that drama..... That means because of all those news he is facing so much loss? Yeah may be...... N Still he is ready to pay all amount for Sahil's surgery. Why? I know he is very Shivaay Singh Oberoi n all that. But why will he spend his amount on my brother if I am the reason for his loss?"

      She looked at Sahil who was sleeping and came to him. She sat there on floor and caressed his face and kissed on his forehead.

A-"I don't know what I am thinking is true or not, but I will not allow him to take you away from me. No one is there for me other than you. I don't know about you Sahil but for me you are the only one who is mine in this whole world. Aur mein tumhe kho nhi sakti."

        She wiped her tears and sat there whole night looking at his sleeping figure.

Next morning,
Shivaay's office,

      Annika came there by auto and now walking towards the office. She decided that she will find out what's exactly going on in Shivaay's mind. She was walking through the parking area when she heard  something. She looked around and saw the watchman and Shivaay's driver were talking with each other. Annika heard their conversation.

Watchman-"Shivaay sir ki team jeet gayi kal"

Driver-"Yeah.... Thank god. I hope 'Super smashers' will win this IPL. Shivaay sir ka jo loss hua hai na woh sab thik hoga."

Watchman-"Yeah I heard a lot about that. What exactly happened? Why sir is in so much loss? Shares bhi gir gaye n contracts bhi gaye..... Kyu?"

Driver-"All this happened before one month. Kitna kuch ho gaya tha tab."

Watchman-"Kya??"

Driver-"Shivaay sir ke dad and uncle ko police custody hui thi"

      Annika was shocked when she heard that.

A-"Papa n Tej uncle ko.....but why??"

Watchman-"Haa I know but don't know the reason. Police custody?? But why?"

Driver-"That I don't know. May be because of Shivaay sir's wife and her dad."

Watchman-"Really??"

A-"Papa?? How will he face this loss because of my papa??"

      She was thinking about it when she remembered what Roop bua told her about Oberois and her dad.

A-"Yeah my papa was innocent and all Oberois....."

       Tears formed in her eyes when she remembered what happened on that day. That day was worst day in her life. She wiped her tears and again heard their conversation.

Driver-"I don't know what exactly happened. Mam was so nice. I don't think her dad will do something like this."

A-"Look yeh driverji bhi jaante hai. But Shivaay......"

Watchman-"Ohh..... But what happened after that?"

Driver-"Bade Saab went to jail and all newspaper gave those news and then Oberoi industry lost their so many shares in share market. And many companies cancelled all the deals which  they gave to Shivaay sir."

Watchman-"Ohh....."

Driver-"Shivaay sir was so angry on everyone that time. And he decided that he will take his revenge. Those who did all those things to Oberoi family na, Shivaay sir took a vow to destroy them completely."

      Now Annika was sure about all the things. She is now sure that what she was thinking from yesterday was true.

A-"Maine kuch nhi kiya naa hi Papa ne kuch kiya. In fact I didn't file that complaint too. Then also he wants to take revenge from me.. And so he is doing all those things from last some days. And I am not listening his any orders and I am not bothered about his torture so now he is using Sahil?? No no I can't let that happen."

      She wiped her tears and left from there.

Driver-"But Shivaay sir loves Annika mam. And doing many things for her."

Watchman-"Haa he was very angry on me and on everyone that day when mam was in store room alone and there was no lights."

Driver-"Yeah. Bas he is hurt n upar se Pinky mam ki haalath. I hope sab thik ho jaldi."

Watchman-"Don't worry sab thik hoga. Now I have to go."

      Watchman said and left from there.

      Annika came inside the office and asked receptionist about Shivaay. That receptionist said he came some time before and now in his cabin. Annika went to her desk and kept her purse there and went towards his cabin angrily.

Shivaay's cabin,

      Shivaay who was standing near the window talking with someone on the phone sensed her presence and turned. He was surprised to see her there. He looked at her face and he knew something was wrong with her.

      Annika entered into the cabin and was about to ask something when she noticed that he was talking on the phone. So she stood there looking at him angrily.

        After sometime Shivaay cuts the call and asked her,

S-"Ms. Trivedi why you came inside without my permission?"

      Annika didn't say anything and was looking at him angrily. He was confused now.

S-"What?? Why you came here? You want to say something? And if no then go and do your work."

      Annika was just looking at him angrily and was finding words to say. As she was very angry, very frustrated, very scared at the same time so she don't know what to say and words are not coming out of her mouth.

S-"What?? Ab bologi kuch? If you don't have anything to say then just go and do your work."

      He said coming towards his desk and sat on his chair. Suddenly he remembered something.

S-"And how is Sahil now? Is he ok? Pain kam hua?"

      He said while looking at some files. She came to him angrily and snatched those files from his hand. Shivaay looked at her confused.

S-"What are you do....."

A-"Sahil ka naam bhi mat lo. Don't you dare to snatch him."

      Shivaay was confused as she said those lines.

S-"What did you say? Don't you dare to snatch him??? Who?? Sahil??"

A-"Haa Sahil. He is my brother and he will be with me forever."

      She said in loud voice. Shivaay looked at her as he didn't get what she is talking about.

S-"Bolna Kya chahti ho tum?"

A-"You..... You are trying to snatch Sahil from me."

S-"Whaaattttt??" Shivaay was shocked by her words.

A-"He is my brother and don't you dare to come near him again. I will not give him to....."

S-"What are you saying?? Are you ok? Why will I snatch him from you?"

A-"Because you want your so called revenge."

S-"Revenge???"

A-"Yeah. You want me to crawl in front of you. You want me to become your slave and now I am not doing all this so you are trying to snatch my Sahil so I......"

S-"Are you out of your mind Annika? How can you say something like this??"

      He shouted at her. He was shocked by her words.

A-"Don't shout at me. I knew everything. You want me to be alone in this whole world. You don't want anyone on my side to take my side , to take care of me. So that I can fall weak and then you are free to break me, hai na? Yahi chahte ho na aap ki mein akeli ho jau?"

      She said looking directly into his eyes. He couldn't believe in his ears. She thinks something like this about him. He was hurt by those words.

S-"Yeh sochti ho tum mere baare me? Ki I want only revenge from you??"

A-"Yess you want revenge. And that too for the mistakes which I didn't know about."

S-"Really??? You want revenge or me? What I did haa? Don't forget you are the one who left me without saying anything. You are the one who started all this. And now blaming me??"

A-"Me?? I started all this?? Woww...You forgot what you did? You know it's a crime to marry another women when you are already married. You are the one who forgot all the things which were between us. You are the one who did all that just because you want those reports and now blaming me??? Woww.... Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi. You are so smart."

      Shivaay closed his eyes as he remembered that worst day. He don't want to say anything about that day. He opened his eyes and looked at her. But didn't say anything.

A-" You are so selfish Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi. Who only think about his naam, khoon n khandaan. Who is fake. Who don't know what is love who just did acting that he was in love. "

      Shivaay looked at her shocked. She called his love acting. How can she? Tears formed in his eyes.

S-"You ..... You really think my.....my love was just acting.....and.....and nothing else??"

      He asked her in broken voice.

A-"Yess. Aapne kabhi mujhse pyaar nhi kiya. You just love your naam, khoon n khaandaan. Nothing is important to you than  those things. And mein.....mein toh nhi hi thi kabhi aapke liye important. You just used me for....."

S-"Just stop..... Stop there...... Don't say anything further. That you will regret later."

A-"Regret?? Yes I am regretting now. Why I loved you so much? Why I trusted you so much. You were most important person in my life. And in return what I got?? You didn't love me. You only loves your family. Family comes first for you. Annika ka kya she is not even family, hai na? Toh koi sawaal hi nhi uthata na meri fikar krne ka..... You just want your so called ego n family name. N mere wajah se aapki family n aapke status ko thes pahunchi toh you did all those things?"

S-"What I did?"

A-"Oh.....you are asking me?? Don't you remember what you did? Don't you remember what you did in that auction? You don't remember what you did after that? And now don't you know what are you doing?"

S-"What I am doing?"

A-"You are snatching my Sahil away from me. You don't want anyone on my side. Isliye aap Sahil ko mere khilaaf kr rahe hai. Mujhse durr krne ki koshish kr rahe hai."

S-"Tumhare khilaaf kr raha hu?? Are you serious Annika? Tumhe aisa lagta hai?" He shouted.

A-"Lagta nhi , mujhe pata hai. You are doing all things for Sahil so that he can get impressed by you n then he will hate me."

S-"What?? Annika what's going on in your mind? Why will he hate you Annika? You don't know who are you to Sahil??"

A-"Because of you he will hate me."

S-"Because of me??"

A-"Aapne uske operation ke liye paise diye...... You gave him all those things which I didn't give him. N by doing all this you are taking him away from me. And you are successful too "

      Shivaay was just looking at her with moist eyes.

A-"I heard him saying that he loves you more. More than me too. Congratulations Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi. You won. But don't forget Sahil's sister is Annika. The khidkitod Annika. And I will protect him. Jo krna hai kro but aap use mujhse cheen nhi sakte"

      She said angrily looking at him. Shivaay looked at her for few seconds and then came towards her. He held her shoulders and pinned her to the nearby wall and held her shoulders tightly.

Shivaay-"You really think like this about me?"

Annika-"First I was just thinking but now you proved it Shivaay. You want me to lose... you want me to suffer... you want me to crawl in front of you...you don't want anyone beside me who will give me strength, who will support me. So you are snatching Sahil from me..... I thought you loved me but....."

      She stopped as tears rolled down on her cheeks. She was trying hard to be strong but she broke down. Shivaay's anger cools down after seeing her tears. He asked in calm voice,

Shivaay-"You really think I want all this?"

      She looked at him as he asked slowly, in calm tone. She looked at him for few seconds and again remembered what he did. She wiped her tears and said in loud voice,

Annika-"Yes, you, The Great Shivaay Singh Oberoi want this. You want me to lose. You want me to suffer. You thinks that because of me n my papa your family faced too much. That's why you are giving me this pain."

      She shouted and he was angry again. He did all those things for her, for her Papa and she..... She is scolding him, accusing him, she is questiong about my love for her..... How can she? Shivaay's eyes were blood shot red now. He said in broken voice,

Shivaay-"You don't even know from which pain I am going through from last month....."

      He said and tears fell from his eyes. Annika looked at those tears surprised and then looked at his face. He was looking so broken. She was confused about his behavior. He was crying but why?? Whatever he wants to happen , same is happening now so why he is crying. She started thinking and she remembered what happened on the day of their separation.

A(mind)-"That day he said he loves me.... Jabtak Shivaay Singh Oberoi jinda rahega uski saansein Annika ke liye dhadkegi...... But what happened after that..... He was ready to marry another women just for those proofs. For his family."

      She looked at him and then she remembered what he did in the past one month after she left him. Her expressions changed again.  She looked at him and shouted,

Annika-"Pain?? You are talking about pain? You are the one who gave me so much pain. And now talking about pain?? I know everything Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi you also experienced pain. Aapke shares gir gaye, aapki company ka loss hua, aapki image kharaab ho gayi. Yeah these all are your pain na?? "

      Annika said and looked at him. He didn't say anything.

A-"And you think all that happen because of me n my Papa. Hai na?  So you want revenge from me. You took vow to destroy me na?? And for that revenge you are behaving like this with me."

S-"Behaving like what??"

A-"You don't know?? I am surprised. You don't even remember wowww..... You forgot what you did in auction? You forgot what things you did because of those I was ready join your company?? You forgot what you did after that?? And now..... You don't know what are you doing, right?? You are using one small kid for your revenge and asking me what I did?? Great just great."

      She said in dangerous voice. Shivaay was looking at her with tears in his eyes. He was hurt, so much hurt by her words. He was hurt by her behavior that day ,still doing all this for her and what she is doing? She is blaming him for the things which he can't even imagine to do with her.

      He remembered how he told Pinky and daadi that he want his Annika back in his life. He was doing all those things for her. And what she did? She is accusing him for nothing. His brain stopped working. He just looked at her for some time. Then he left her shoulders and went away from her. He turned around and closed his eyes and started thinking and decides something. He then took a deep breath and turned towards her .

      She was still looking at her angrily. He looked into her eyes and said in loud voice,

Shivaay-"You know what, I was fool. I..... I was so stupid.  I decided something when you left me. I thought tum phirse mere pass..... But no you think I don't love you na? You think I never cared for you? You think you are not important for me, hai na? Yehi sochti ho na tum??"

       He said looking at her. She didn't answer anything.

S-"You know what, I was wrong. I thought you understands me, you know me better ,you know me better than anyone else, you loves..... but..... You proved me wrong. Kya kuch nhi socha tha maine.... But no, ab nhi. You think I want revenge from you, hai na? You think I want you to lose, you think I want you to be alone in this whole world, hai na?"

         Shivaay asked angrily and Annika just stood there looking at him. She felt his voice is so broken and his eyes showing so much pain.

S-"But I don't want any of that Ms. Tiwari..... In fact I don't want anything from you now. I want nothing. I don't want any relation between us.  Today, from this moment itself, there is not any relation between us. Yes there is only one relation , boss and employee..... Bass... Aur kuch nhi.  Only boss n employee and that too for 3 months only. After that you are free Ms. Trivedi."

      Shivaay said in loud angry voice, directly looking into her eyes and went out of the cabin  not before wiping his tears. Annika stood there in shock trying to get what he said .

Precap :- Shivaay keeps distance from Annika. Annika heard something and shock would be an understatement for her.....
