Gold hummed as he, Sapphire, and Black went to where Daisy had said Green would be at right at this time. A steady tune filled the air as they approached where he was. They hid behind a tree before seeing the senior carefully letting a gentle tune out of his instrument.

He took a gentle breath before Gold was able to scan over the area. A large octobass/organ hybrid sat by the side while his pochette hybrid hummed in his hands. He gently went to do another tune when he paused and looked around. A shy look seemed to creep upon his face as he got another steady tune flying.

As it was fading, Gold nodded to the others before letting an applaud fill the air. The noise alerted Green before he whipped around and hid the pochette behind him. The trio came out from their hiding spot as Green held his composure.

"What are you three doing here?" Gold let a smug smile across his face as he got close to the older Flame's face. Playing it cool, he followed his senior's hand.

"Looking for you. Your sister said you'd be out here." Green deepened the frown that was holding his ground. Something told him something else, but he continued his play nonetheless.

"Why would you be looking for me? What did you need?" Gold purred as he looked for an opening that wouldn't exactly expose them.

"You've been rather tense, Senior Green. We came to find out why." Green sighed. Taunting as ever. But at least they were securing their specialties.

"I'm not tense. Just... forced out of my environment. Now can you please leave me alone?"

"What type of environment are we talking about, Senior Green?" Black cut in, adding to the play. Green hummed faintly before continuing.

"Why is that any of your business?" Black was quiet as Sapphire scanned the area for leverage against the senior. Then it caught her eye.

"Why are you all the way out here anyways?" He stayed quiet before a steady voice echoed from his throat.

"Peace and quiet. That would be if three little embers didn't interrupt." She frowned.

"Then why do you have an instrument over there?"

She struck through his composure as a weakened noise emerged from the senior and he turned around. He pulled the instrument from behind him to his chest and sat down. A soft voice appeared in the air.

"I-I-I-I don't know what you mean..." The trio paused at their senior's reaction. Gold frowned before sitting down beside him. A gentle noise escaped Green as Gold gently rubbed his back.

"Hey... we're not trying to attack you... relax..." Green trembled before lifting his head to look at the junior. "We just heard you needed some help with something."

"Let this be a lesson that you're only helping my sister do her job of torturing me." He then sighed. "I do not need help. All I want is peace and quiet."

"That's what you say..." Black said slowly as he practically slithered into the empty spot beside him. "But you had a meltdown when Sapphire asked about the instruments." Green shyly avoided his gaze as he stood up and moved away from the trio. "So... what's wrong?" He sighed as he looked over his instrument.

"Just leave me alone..." He then dazed off as he lifted the instrument up to play something. He had obviously forgotten they were there as he faintly teased the instrument's strings. Gold hushed the other two as he started it up another delicate tune.

He hummed softly as he let it fade away. The senior let a smile slip onto his face before an applaud filled the air. The smile vanished as the trio went to his side.

"That was amazing, Senior Green." The senior lowered his head as Sapphire hugged him from behind. "Why hide such talent?"

"I-I-I-I don't know what you're talking about...." Green's voice came very softly as he tried to pull away.

"Is the great Green getting shy on us?" Black quickly aided the female flame's assault upon the senior. Green shyly tugged at her hug as a small panic filled his face. Gold hummed.

"Alright... lay off you two. But you don't have to hide this from us." Green gulped as he finally got out of Sapphire's grip and got a little bit of distance.

"I-I-I-I-" Green's voice kept dying off as he tried to find the confidence and his composure. He felt tears roll down his cheeks as he finally had to sit down to pull himself together. A gentle pair of arms pulled him into a hug as he trembled. It was a few minutes before he calmed down.

"Easy..." He listened to Gold's words before letting a soft noise out and pulling away.

"Sorry.... Just... not used to people... seeing... that..." He sighed as he looked at his instrument.

"But why hide it?" He lowered his head, letting his hair cover his face.

"The past is painful to talk about... but... my musical talent was wounded... and so I stopped. I simply went to the other arts and skills to hide the pain. But when the world is full of music and your family is full of it..." He gulped down whatever sadness was about to erupt inside. "It's rather hard to avoid it.... So recently... I tried restarting playing... my Aunt Ann sent me these instruments in hopes that I will do alright with my... recovery..." He felt a hand touch a shoulder as tears started falling down his face. "M-my only problem is colliding with the fact that I c-could get hurt again..." Gold pulled him into another hug as the faint tears turned into small streams.

"Easy... you sound great..." Green trembled as he pulled himself together.

"Um..." Black gulped. "I think the only question I have is why did you turn the instrument Blue offered you?" Green gulped as he pulled away and wiped his face.

"My... first instrument... before I was hurt... was a guitar. I recognized the case. It brought back some painful memories and I couldn't..." He instantly wiped his face before the fresh tears could fall. "I still know where my guitar is... I'm not ready to try and take another..." Gold smiled before standing up and holding his hand out.

"Come on. I think it's time you get farther with your recovery."

Green was frozen for a moment before a smile crossed his face and he took the hand.
