Riyan and Shri were laying inside the blanket castle cuddling and watching the movie 'bridge to terabithia ' but by the end of it Shri was practically sobbing her eyes out

Riyan was rubbing her back to calm her down

Riyan: no it was perfect
Shri: why?

Riyan just smiled at her

After the movie was over ,it was time for stargazing

Shri grabbed riyan's hand and dragged him out of the castle

Shri: chalo riyan let's find a spot

Shri grabbed a blanket from the inside of the castle and started finding a spot to lay it down and she finally found one

Shri: come riyan lay here with me

Riyan layed beside her and both of them were now facing the sky ,or atleast one of them was...

Shri: look that is the Orion constellation,isko the hunter bhi bolte hai ,If you'll look closely you can see it forming a figure of a hunter

Shri: and look , vo Jo sabse zada chamak rha hai na vo Sirius hai ,it's part of the canis major constellation, or isko na dog star b bolte h

Shri: and those right there are the big dipper and the Little dipper constellation, inko ursa major and ursa minor bhi bolte hai

Shri: tumko pta I am a huge Harry Potter fan and when I saw the prisoner of azkaban movie tab mujhe realise hua ki Puri black family to stars and constellations k after named hai ,Sirius , Orion, bellatrix,regulus,Alphard, Andromeda and even draco

Shri paused for a few seconds

Shri: it's beautiful isn't it?

Riyan: more than anything

Shri looked back a riyan only to see him looking at her instead of the sky
She could feel a blush creeping up to her face
He was gazing into her eyes and she was returning the same

Riyan: you know which one is my favourite star?
He said without breaking the eye contact
Shri: which?

Riyan: the sun , so bright, so lively, so warm , you know what it reminds me of

Shri: what

Riyan: you

Shri could feel her heart starting to race

The wind made her hair fly into her face

Riyan tucked the strand of her hair behind her ears but kept his hands on her cheeks with his thumb gently massaging the back of her ear

She was easing into his hold

His hand moved from her cheek to her chin and his thumb gently hovered over her bottom lip

Shri's breathing was getting heavier by each passing second yet her body stayed still like a statue

Shri: Ri, can I ask you something?

Riyan: yes

Shri: what did you wish for?

Riyan: agar Maine bta dia to vo wish Puri nhi hogi na bunny

Shri was about to say something but riyan cut her off

Riyan: look a shooting star

Shri quickly looked and asked for a wish in her head and then looked at riyan

Shri: you know agar shooting star se koi wish maango to vo Puri ho jati h

Riyan: tumne mangi kya?

Shri: yes

Riyan: kya wish mangi bunny

Shri : agar Maine bta Diya to vo wish Puri nhi hogi na ri

Shri said pulling his cheeks

Riyan: Shri

Shri: yes

Riyan: I just wanted to say ki I had the best birthday today ,I never expected it .
You never fail to amaze me Shri , thank you so much and before you say it , abhi k lia no thank you rule is not valid

Shri: anything for you ri

Riyan came extremely close to Shri to the point that her heart skipped a beat
He gave a kiss on her cheek and stayed still at a close proximity to her just staring into her eyes

To her the stars were beautiful ,to him her eyes were the stars

Shri's heart was doing jumping jacks at this point , she could feel him being so close to her yet so far

And with that the night ended like a beautiful dream , short yet unforgettable

Both of them went back to their rooms smiling like idiots, one knew what she was feeling was not returned and one was confused about what he was feeling at all

Both conflicted yet so in love , if all it is ,is 8 letters , why is it so hard to say?
