"Come back to bed."

A metal arm wrapped around Jades waist as she moved to get out of the bed. She groaned as she tried to free herself but was instead pulled back into the arms of her boyfriend.

"Stay." He told her, his voice deep and raspy. Bucky's eyes were still closed as he buried his face into the crook of her neck.

"Bucky, I need to pee." Jade chuckled as she tried to wriggle free.

"Hold it."

"I've been holding it for the past two hours, now let me go before I pee on the bed." Bucky sighed as he released her from his arms. He opened his eyes and watched as she slid out of the bed. Wearing nothing but her underwear and his red henley as she walked to the bathroom.

When they got together Jade stole his shirt so she could wear it to bed. Not that he cared about losing his favourite shirt, he loved seeing her in his clothes.

Bucky heard the toilet flush followed by the tap running before Jade shuffled back towards the bed.

"Better?" He asked her.

"Much."

"Good, now come here." Bucky leaned over and grabbed her, pulling her back into the bed.

"What's made you so clingy this morning?" She asked as she positioned herself so her head was resting on his chest.

"Nothing." Bucky kissed the top of her head. "I just want to hold you."

"I like it when you do." She whispered as she drew circles on his bare chest with her finger. "I could stay like this forever."

"Me too." Bucky traced his finger up and down her arm. "Let's do that. Let's just stay here and never move."

"Sounds perfect."

"After everything is over. After we get Novikov. We should go on vacation, somewhere quiet and peaceful."

"That sounds nice. I like that idea."

"Are you any closer? To finding him?" Bucky asked her.

"I think so. Tony has FRIDAY working on it."

"Good. FRIDAY will find him." Bucky closed his eyes again and the two of them lay in silence for a few minutes until Jade spoke again.

"I don't want you there." Her voice practically a whisper as she looked up at him. Bucky opened his eyes, his brow furrowed. "When we find him. I want you to stay here, where it's safe."

"Baby, are you forgetting who am I? Who I was?" Bucky sat up slightly, leaning his back against the head board. Jade moved to straddle his lap.

"I know, I just can't risk him getting you." She whispered as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "I can't go through what happened to my sister again. I just can't."

"That's not going to happen. I promise." Bucky stroked the side of her face, pushing her hair back behind her ear.

"You can't promise me that. You don't know what he's like." Jade twirled the short strands of his hair with her finger. "It's why I have to do this by myself. Without you. Without the team. Just me. Alone."

"Are you crazy? We're going with you." Bucky said adamantly.

"I'm the only one who can do this, James. I'm the only one who's not gonna die trying." Jade explained. "His men are ruthless. The ones from the docks and the facility are nothing like the ones that guard him personally. I can't risk losing anyone. Not again."

"You're forgetting who they are. They're the Avengers. If they can handle aliens, they can handle this."

"You're forgetting how many times they almost died doing so. This time they won't have a Hulk. They don't have Thor. I can't take that chance."

"They're not going to agree to this." Bucky said. Jade placed a kiss on his lips.

"They will."

"Are you out of your mind?"

"Normally? Yes. Right now? No." Jade said as she leaned against the table. "This is my fight. I'm not dragging you guys into it."

"We're a team. This is our fight now." Steve told her. "If you think we're just going to let you walk in there alone then you're delusional."

"You're forgetting what I am. Steve, I'm the only one who can do this." Jade explained.

"And you're forgetting who we are." Tony spoke up. "Forget it, Jade. We're going with you. End of discussion." Jade groaned as she sat back down in her seat.

"I told you." Bucky whispered to her.

"Shut up." She said as she sulked in her chair. Bucky just laughed and patted her shoulder. "Fine, but if you're so adamant about going with me, then I'm in charge. You do what I say, when I say it."

"Sounds fair." Tony said with a shrug. "It's your thing after all."

"And when I see Novikov, you're not going to stop me from killing him." She explained. Steve went to speak but was silenced when Jade held up her hand. "Don't. I know what you're going to say. And I know you don't agree with how I do things and I get that, I do. But Viktor? He has to die. It's the only way to stop him."

"Is it?" Steve raised an eyebrow. "Or is it just because you want revenge for your sister?"

"Steve." Bucky said sternly.

"It's fine, Bucky." Jade smiled at him before turning her attention back to Steve. "Perhaps it is. But if you had to see what he did to her, you'd want him dead too."

"I get that, and I'm sorry you had to go through that. I really am. But we can't allow you to just straight up kill him." Steve explained.

"You're not gonna stop me, Steve."

"Fury thought you'd say that." Steve sighed as he crossed the room to grab something. "Which is why he sent this." Steve threw a inhibitor collar onto the table.

"Are you serious?" Jade said, annoyance in her voice. "Come anywhere near me with that thing and I swear to God, Rogers. You're not gonna like what happens."

"What is that?" Sam said, pointing to the collar.

"It's a mutant inhibitor collar." Steve told them.

"Steve!" Bucky stood up, his tone of voice angry at his friend.

"It's just a precaution. Incase things get out of hand."

"Incase I go rogue you mean." Jade mumbled to herself.

"Steve, you can't be serious." Nat exclaimed. "This could get her killed."

"I know. And I don't want to have to use it." Steve explained. "But if you give me a reason, I will."

"I'd like to see you try." Jade wasn't mad. She knew where Steve was coming from. She also knew that he wouldn't get close enough to her to get that thing round her neck.

"Boss." Came FRIDAY's voice. "I've got something."

"What is is?" Tony asked.

"I was able to track an outgoing call that was made to Mr Novikov and I found his location." FRIDAY told them. Jade's head shot up as she couldn't believe what she was heading.

"Outgoing call?" Tony questioned. "What outgoing call?"

"There was a call made to him last night from inside the compound. From the cell phone of one Matthew Woods." Everyone turned to look at Jade.

"Oh, yeah. I called him." Jade said with a shrug.

"You what?" Bucky exclaimed. "When?"

"When you were asleep. I swiped Matt's phone from him before they took his body. Thought I'd have a little chat with him."

"And what did you chat about?" Tony asked her.

"The usual. How I was going to kill him like I killed Matt. How I'd be seeing him soon. You know, normal stuff."

"Jade."

"Great, now he knows we're coming." Steve sighed.

"Correction. He knows Jade's coming." Nat pointed to her. "But he doesn't know we're coming."

"Right. We have the upper hand." Clint spoke up.

"FRIDAY. Where is he?" Tony asked.

"Miami." The screen at the front of the room lit up with his exact location. A mansion off the coast of Miami.

"Figures." Jade said as she rolled her eyes.

"It's remote. Out of the way."

"And heavily guarded. He'll have men all over the place. Cameras, drones. He'll see us coming a mile away." Jade explained.

"Then we'll give him a show." Tony replied, a smirk on his face.

"Suit up."

"What are you wearing?"

"It's my suit." Jade did a little twirl as she walked towards the Quinjet.

"Why's it so... red?" Clint asked her.

"It's so the bad guys don't see her bleed." Bucky told them as he rolled his eyes, though he couldn't help but smile.

"I like it." Said Sam.

"Yeah, me too. It's very you." Nat added.

"Thank you. I'm glad you think so."

Tony landed in front of them in his Iron Man suit. There were some slight black smudges from where he'd rubbed off the sharpie Jade used to draw on it.

"Miss Wilson, draw on my suit again and I'm gonna melt down your swords and turn them into a spoon."

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Jade said with a smirk on her face.

"Mhm." Tony turned from them and entered the jet. Jade high-fived Clint, who gave her the idea, as she walked past him and into the jet.

"She's gonna be the death of me." Bucky muttered as he started to follow them in.

"That she is." Nat chuckled as she clapped him on the shoulder.

"Here's the plan. Stark, Rhodey, you fly out first and put on a show. Sam, you follow behind and take out these two guard posts." She pointed to the circled areas on the map. "While he's distracted the rest of us will make our way from the landing site and infiltrate the mansion. We have multiple heat sources detected around the property which means plenty of guards." Jade explained. "Do not lower your guard. These men are ruthless and they won't think twice about killing you. So make sure you watch each other's backs."

"We're five minutes out." Clint called from the pilots seat.

"Watch out for traps around the outside. Trip wires, land minds, that sort of thing." Jade told them as she made sure her weapons were secure.

"Land mines? Who the hell is this guy?" Sam muttered as he made sure his wings were ready.

"Just be careful. It's not to late to let me do this myself." Jade looked towards Steve.

"Not a chance." He replied as he strapped his shield to his arm.

Jade walked over to Bucky who was loading his weapon.

"You're not gonna stay in the jet are you?" She leaned against the weapons locker.

"Nope." Bucky replied as he clicked the bullet mag into place.

"Will you at least stay with me?"

"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else." He moved towards her and kissed her forehead. "I'll be okay, Red."

"You better. Cause if you die, I'm gonna kill you." She chuckled as she placed a kiss on his lips. "Please don't die."

"I promise, I won't die."

"Stark, Rhodey, Sam. You're good to go." Clint called as the back of the jet opened.

"Let's get this party started."
