OMG GUYS THIS EPISODE

THIS EPISODE WAS SO INTENSE

AND IT WAS ALSO

I WAS SO EXCITED FOR THIS EPISODE AND IT DIDN'T LET ME DOWN, NOT ONE SECOND.

VERY BIG SPOILERS BELOW, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK

DONNIE DIED

Ok before we go onto that, let me summarize the episode.

As we all know, April was corrupted by the crystal, which apparently housed the spirit of an evil Aeon. She, as in the evil Aeon spirit that took control of her, destroyed the entire lair with Donnie and Splinter in it. She injured Splinter and tried to strangle Donnie because they were trying to take the crystal away from her. Donnie ain't dead yet.

While the destruction of the lair took place, Leo, Raph and Mikey were headed to where Casey was because Casey found Shredder's henchmen stealing mutagen from abandoned Kraang labs. I'm going to congratulate Casey for single-handedly taking down Tigerclaw, Fishface and Rahzar while they were driving a van. Never underestimate the Jones.

But then after that, he crashed into a bin and was about to be slaughtered by Tigerclaw.

Anyway, corrupted April came to save him with her powers, and she strangled Tigerclaw and broke one of Fishface's legs. She flew away, like REALLY flew away to the top of Channel 6. Leo, Raph and Mikey used their grappling hooks to reach the top while Casey took the stairs, and Casey was really fast, he arrived a second later than them. (He forgot his grappling hook again I bet)

And then while trying to get April to snap out of it, she threw them off the building.

This is the part where things get so intense.

Donnie climbed to the top of the tower and tried to get April to fight the evil spirit, and take off the crystal. Corrupted April didn't want to, and since Donnie kept standing in her way, she levitated him till about the height where she was floating.

AND THEN SHE RIPPED HIM APART AND KILLED HIM. DONNIE DIED, DONNIE DIED, DONNIE DIED. I NEED TO STOP SAYING THAT. HIS MASK DRIFTED DOWN SLOWLY AND IT WAS SO HEARTBREAKING. YOU SHOULD SEE THE SHOCK ON THE TURTLES AND CASEY'S FACE.

I forgot to add that while April was corrupted, there were instances where she regained control, but for a really short while. So when she killed Donnie, she came back to her senses and couldn't believe what she had done.

After this, the remaining turtles and Casey tried to help April gain control again. Raph tried, but he got his bones cracked. I THOUGHT APRIL WOULD RIP HIM APART AS WELL. At this one point I was really counting on Casey to be the one to snap her out of it. (Sorry, inner capril self)

Mikey and Leo tied her up with one of Mikey's chains, and they got her to recall all of their shared memories. It didn't really seem to work, until Leo told her to remember Donnie. That's when she started to gain control, and she destroyed the crystal for good. The evil Aeon spirit emerged from the crystal, and badass April killed him with her tantō.

REMEMBER HOW I REPEATEDLY SAID DONNIE WAS DEAD? HE ISN'T.

There was this sparkly thing floating above the road, and April pointed out that Donnie wasn't dead, his molecules were just scrambled. She used her powers (without the crystal, because it's destroyed) to assemble Donnie back together again. AND I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN SHE DID, BECAUSE THE TEAM ISN'T COMPLETE WITHOUT DONNIE. I was thought that she would kiss him (sorry, apparently I have an inner Apritello as well) but that didn't happen. April then blacks out.

She reawakens in the lair, where everyone is severely injured. She then apologizes to everyone and says that her powers are part of her, with or without the crystal. She extended her hand again, much to the guys' horror, but she just summons her tantō towards her. And the episode ends.

The episode is more intense than I put it.

THIS EPISODE IS GOING TO BE MY NEW FAVOURITE EPISODE OF SEASON 4.5. AS I SAID EARLIER, IT DIDN'T LET ME DOWN AT ALL.

But seriously, they can't keep killing characters off like that. This show is for kids, yet they killed Donnie, Splinter and showed Rat King's corpse.
