I talked about a situation in my chapter called "Feminsim," and after that chapter was a chapter titled, "Perspective."

I'm going to bring these two subjects together.

There was a situation in my gym class that I talked about in the feminism chapter, and I'd like to revisit that a bit.

I heard someone's perspective of that story and I got to thinking about it.

I spoke up, because even if some of the girls didn't want to play, that doesn't mean they have any less of a right to play.

If you don't care, then step aside and let the ones who care play. The world doesn't revolve around whether or not you want to play. No matter how lazy you are or how uncaring you are, I will not be oppressed.

I'm trying so hard to say that playing a sport in PE shouldn't be a privilege because of your gender. Girl, or boy, boy or girl, it shouldn't matter. It should be equal, and I know sometimes it can be a bit hard, but it should be consistent.

I completely understand if you don't want to play, but there are some girls that are oppressed and that want to play. Whether or not you want to play, doesn't have anything to do with the fact that you aren't the only one who matters.

Just because you don't want to play doesn't mean that no one else does. You don't care, but I am done sitting while a man can stand. I AM DONE, BECAUSE I AM AN EQUAL.

So let me remind you, that no matter how lazy you feel or how much you don't care about a sport, you have to think about the kids who care. Too often the ones who care are pushed aside by the kids who don't.

Why is it "cooler" to not care? It shouldn't be.

I think that it's much harder to care, you show more vulnerability. Which means you could get hurt, but you don't really live unless you open yourself up and care.

So please think about more about others and the greater good than yourself and your laziness.
