RIP Lily

There's an empty spot where her cage was
There's an empty spot where her bowls were
There's an empty spot in the house where she always was
There's an empty spot in my heart where she was for 11 years

It's hard.
I woke up today and there was no dog to take outside.
There was no reason to get up and turn off the alarm.
There was no dog to feed.
There was no dog to give my breakfast scraps to.
There was no dog to love on because I didn't have anything else to do.
There was no dog this morning.
