My Daddy being my Daddy calls me every thirty minutes and sends a message every five minutes... I know he is a very busy person and every minute counts for him that's why him giving a huge effort to reach out on me is heartwarming.

"Don't you think sometimes tito Bradley is too much?" Chronic asked me.

Siksikan kami dito sa upuan dahil kahit na dalawahan lang dapat ito ay tatlo kami. Nasa gitna ako nilang dalawa kaya mas lalong masikip sa parte ko.

"Sometimes," I answered "but you know what my Dad went through. Iniwan siya ni Mommy ko kahit kakapanganak lang niya sa akin dahil takot siya sa responsibilidad. I'm glad thou that despite that, Daddy managed to be a single loving father to me."

I was talking casually, I wasn't bitter, I still have a grudge but, I set it aside, for now, I wanna talk about it without having a heavy heart. I still wanna talk about how awesome my Daddy is.

"I know he was glad Mom didn't take me with her, and I also know he is afraid that one day, I'll leave him too. Kahit hindi sabihin sa akin ni Daddy ay alam kong ganoon ang nararamdaman niya."

"Your Dad is responsible and a good person too, Dainty." Bulalas ni Raven, na siyang nagdadrive ng pick-up truck na sasakyan namin. "If he wasn't, then you'll turn out one of the worst I know but you see? He took great care of you, all by himself. You turned out to be a great young lady, even if it's just him who guided you." I smiled at him.

"That's why I'm glad my Dad's the one who became my father. Yes, he has lots of flaws but no one's perfect. He also deserves someone who will make him happy." Then I giggled. "Kaya nga excited akong matapos na ang event na ito eh. Daddy told me the woman he's dating is now ready to meet me, and we are gonna meet each other after this."

"Good for you." Nakangiti si Raven sa akin. "You are still lucky that even if you only have your Dad, he still cares for you. Some parents don't even care about their children, while you? Your Dad is your Mom and Dad already. He already fulfilled the feet of the two most important persons in one's life, their parents, their Mommy and Daddy."

I'm grateful having my Dad but that talk between me and Raven made me realize that being grateful isn't enough. Daddy is the best person in my life, and I also want him to feel my love for him.

Natahimik kaming lahat at ramdam kong natutulog na rin si Chronic dahil nakasandal siya sa akin. Tiningnan ko si Raven habang nagdadrive at ngayon ko lang napansin. He is really a good-looking guy. He has thick eyebrows that complement his round medium eyes. His nose is pointed, and he has delectable lips... Gwapo niya talaga.

"W-what are you doing, Dainty?" I giggled.

"I just found out you're really handsome. Oo, gwapo ka but seeing you this close makes me realize you are even more handsome than I thought you are when you're afar." Hindi siya nagsalita ngunit kita ko ang pamumula nang tenga niya. "Are you blushing?" I expect an indirect answer and I was dumbfounded when he answered.

"Yes, I am. Anong gagawin mo kung namumula ako?"

I didn't answer, yet I feel the warmth of my face when he asked me. Nakarating kami sa hotel na malapit sa gaganapan ng event. I wake Chronic up but he gave me a "I don't care look" but he eventually gave up after minutes of me pestering him.

"Hey... C, please get my things too..."

"Brat." He murmured but he did get my things too. Tch. Kung ano-ano pa ang sinabi eh kukunin rin naman pala ang mga gamit ko. Nakabook na kami sa hotel kaya maganda ang flow ng pagpunta namin rito. Isa rin ata ito sa mga pinakasikat na hotel ngayon, ang Dominiquez Hotel, and Diner, dahil sa napakaganda dito at talagang maayos lahat.

"Let's go to the pool, 'Couz!"

"Sure!"
