"How are you going to get him Tomura Shigaraki?"

"It won't be hard." He responded.

"How do you plan to do it?"

"I'll send a pawn to attack the front gate, and while the teachers are dealing with that you'll warp me in and I'll grab him."

"What if he resists?"

"He won't."

"How do you know?"

"I read about that corruption quirk, he won't."

"What if I can't warp in there?"

"How can UA stop a wrap gate?  The alarms might go off but we will be gone by then."

"Very well. When will we do it?"

"Ten minutes" Shigaraki smiled.

Uraraka walked to Izuku's dorm. She couldn't bare herself to open the door so she just stood outside.

She desperately wanted to knock on the door, for him to greet her and smile at her.  But she knew that wouldn't happen.  She knew he would be scared of her.  The strong, bright Deku would be scared of her.

She sat on the floor with her back resting on the door.  Every so often she would whisper to him, hoping he would hear.

"I'm sorry Deku"

He never responded.  Maybe it was because he didn't hear her, or maybe it was because he didn't want to.

Uraraka pressed her ear up to the door and tried to listen.  But as much as time passed she never head anything.  Not the shuffling of papers or the sound of his footsteps.  Sometimes if she listened hard, she could hear his steady breathing.

The guilt ate away at her insides.  She clawed at her hair and clenched her fists in anger.  She let her tears fall freely but tried not to make any sound.

"Forgive me Deku" she sobbed quietly.

After awhile her tears finally dried up and Uraraka just stayed there.  She listened threw the door and was once again reassured at the sound of his breathing.

Uraraka contemplated knocking on his door, and if he didn't answer she would go in.  She contemplated just leaving him be.  She contemplated running into his room, grasping him in a hug so tight that he couldn't escape, and they could both cry together.  Because it was okay to cry.

She mustered up enough courage to knock on his door.

She slowly brought her clutched fist up to the door.  And she knocked.

There was silence at first.  Uraraka held her breath.

"Deku, it's me." She whispered.

Silence again.  That was until she heard the tiny sound of feet tapping on the ground.

Uraraka had hope, hope that he was going to talk to her.  She couldn't help the smile that crept on her face.

Once the door creaked open, her smile faded away, just as fast as it had come.

Her vision grew bleary as her eyes filed with tears.

Izuku had been crying.  His eyes were wet and puffy.  The whole time he had been crying, and Uraraka had done nothing.

He had been crying just as silently as she had.

He looked up at her and Uraraka couldn't miss the flash of fear in his emerald eyes.

"Deku, c-can I come in?"

He flinched at the name 'Deku' before slowly nodding his head and stepping aside from the doorway.

Uraraka smiled gratefully before examining his room.  The lights were off and the curtains were closed.  The eerie, dark feeling made her uneasy.  She looked back at Izuku for reassurance, but there was none there, he only looked away in shame.

The room was slightly messy. His bed was unmade, and his desk was a mess. His backpack was on the floor with a few contents spilled out of it.

His desk caught her attention, it was messy, but it was too messy.

She looked in concern at the mess.  What she saw horrified her.

She picked up the scraps of paper that littered his desk.

"Did you do this?" She whispered.

He couldn't bare to meet her eyes.  He gave a small nod.

"Why would you!?" She wailed.

The scraps that were scattered around were photographs of Izuku with his friends.  Except that Izuku was now ripped out of every picture.

A photo of him, Iida and Todoroki at the hospital.  He had ripped himself out.

A photo of Izuku and All Might.  He had ripped himself out.

A photo of him and Uraraka.  He ripped himself out.

A class photo.  He had taken a sharpie and scribbled himself out.

And just a single picture of himself. He had torn to shreds.

"Why would you do this!?" She hissed.

Izuku hesitated before speaking quietly, "B-Because everyone h-hates me"

"Then why," she held up a few pieces of the ripped picture of himself, "did you do this?" She whispered.

"...because I hate myself"

Uraraka dropped the torn pictures and looked away.  Izuku turned away too.

What Izuku didn't expect was the sudden hug that Uraraka gave him.

"I'm sorry that you're dealing with this alone" she whispered through her own tears.

He didn't respond.  His body was stiff and he didn't hug her back.

"B-but you don't have to be alone anymore!  I'll always be here for you!" She tried to cheer him up.

"R-really...?"

There was a tiny flash of hope in his eyes.  It wasn't much, but it was all Uraraka could have asked for.

"Yes! You can always talk to me!" She cried in happiness.  He was finally listening.

"How sweet." A raspy voice mocked.

Uraraka looked behind her in fear.

Oh no.  Oh dear god no.

Tomura Shigaraki stood behind her.

"W-what are you doing here!?" She choked, her heart rate increasing.

"I came to get your sweet boy friend"

"He's not my-" AH what a'm i saying!? Don't worry about that right now!  She tried to calm her red face.

"How cute." Shigaraki mocked.

"Stay back!" She warned, "Deku get back!"

"Uraraka please, don't fight for me." He whispered.

"What are you saying!?  Of course I'm going to fight for you!" She wailed.

"Don't get hurt because of me" He cried.

"Just stop it!  I'm going to help you!"

"Come on now Izuku Midoriya.  Let's go."

Uraraka tried to think of the best course of action.  If I can just stall them long enough, the alarms are surely going off, the pros can come rescue us. Yes, I can do this.

She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Izuku walk over to Shigaraki.

A purple warp gate appeared behind them.

"Deku!? Wait please!!!" She screamed.

"I'm only protecting you" he said quietly.

"Stop! Please don't go!" She reached out her hand as the villain retreated with Izuku into the warp gate.

Izuku reached out too before the gate closed, leaving Uraraka crying alone in his dorm room.
