Vansh feels like his own words are hitting him to face the reality. The words which have come out from his mouth two days ago without much further thought is now the grim reality of Riddhima's life.

It says the arrow thrown to the target or speech come out of mouth can't be taken back. In anger, humans do speak rubbish but next moment when he gets back his consciousness, he falls into pit of repentance. It's a particular human instinct and it can't be wiped away easily..except with patience and calm mind. Vansh Rai Singhania is a man who is burning with the past memories of his life that throws him to such way that the last sanity of thinking before speaking, he's lost!

And now when Mrs D'Souza has uttered those hurtful words for Riddhima, he falls silent. His heart starts beating high as if he's the sole reason for her this state. If only he couldn't have uttered those words....but is it?

Ranjit who has been following his body language till now keeps his hand on Vansh's back and that breaks Vansh's drowsiness. He straightens himself to only pronounce - "May..may be the report has been ex..exchanged! I mean to say...."

Before he completes, Ranjit says softly : "I'm sorry Mr Rai Singhania....I know it's hard to believe but we have rechecked the report of Riddhima ji. Even the soonest you'll believe it she'll have enough time to recover."

Vansh's lips quiver to ask the next question but he asks gathering much strength : "Ba..baby?...and what about OUR BABY?"

Mrs D'Souza takes a sigh when Ranjit gets silent knowing it's not his place to speak. Vansh looks attentively at Mrs D'Souza by hoping against hope knowing the ultimatum - "Look Mr Rai Singhania, it's very crucial time for you both. I know as it's going to be your FIRST CHILD so you're not mentally prepared to lose it....(Vansh gapes for air)....but as a doctor, I'll request you to ABORT 'THE BABY' to SAVE RIDDHIMA. Now the choice is yours."

Vansh's world gets collapsed. Will he be able to lose ANOTHER UNBORN BABY? But isn't what he's desired for..when he's never thought to have a baby with Riddhima? Another thought comes in his mind what if Riddhima is aware of this pregnancy from before, will she agree to 'abort' their baby?

So he puts forth the query if Riddhima knows of this pregnancy. Mrs D'Souza keeps her specs on the table and looks at the young man with sympathy : "Fortunately no....mostly, a mother gets the symptoms with ample time but sometimes few ladies get exceptional. So if she doesn't have got the changes in her, it might be for the other reason. Again taking precautions all time is not a safe method to stop pregnancy."

Vansh sighs thinking the heartbreaking. He's had no idea of HIS BABY a few hours ago and now when he knows he's going to lose it forever. Then also he tries the last to save the unborn soul : "Wouldn't there be any single chance to....save the baby....please?"

Mrs D'Souza closes her eyes in defeat and tries to explain the process : "Mr Rai Singhania..I could understand your state but in medical science, there is no alternative to save baby and cure brain tumor side by side. If you want Riddhima then you've to let go off the unborn baby .. (Vansh clutches his fists tightly) .. and if you think to save the baby then I'm sorry to say it'll be too late to stop the growth of tumor in Riddhima's brain .. (Vansh closes his eyes and tears start to fall silently) .. the first step to cure the tumor is chemotherapy....and obviously the baby in her womb can't be able to tolerate the electric shock which could be fatal.
Moreover, she might need five to six years atleast to win over this deadly disease and in between there are high chances to loss mental sanity. She needs a happy and playful atmosphere. Her physical appearance will go through a lot of changes which could cause her to break down but in all she needs a supportive hand to cross the time .... Now say, how could the baby survive in all this?"

Vansh couldn't endure more and breaks down ; placing his hands on his bare mouth, he stops to show others his emotions but Ranjit tries to pacify him but all goes in vain. A new father in him cries for the loss while the husband in him feels failed. He doesn't know what to say when Ranjit says with a sigh : "Be practical, Mr Rai Singhania. It's not a time to cry but to stand with Riddhima ji. I know you both may have indifference in personal life but remove aside those just for once because that's what we call humanity..right?"

Vansh quickly looks upon and wipes the tears but asks with a cold voice : "How do you know of our personal life?"

Ranjit stops for a moment when Mrs D'Souza signs him to continue so he feels to spill the bean - "Do you remember Pritam....your first wife's brother? He's doing internship under my guidance and we both share a great bond so one day he's been too sad. Asking from him,  I get to know it's because the day he's lost his elder sister Shivali. And the reason he's said YOUR ILLEGAL RELATIONSHIP WITH SOME RIDDHIMA....I know nobody could become happy over someone's happiness so I've thoroughly noticed Riddhima ji to find sadness in her big eyes..perks of being a psychology lover! So I've guessed it by your grim posture..I'm sorry if I'm wrong."

But his words and specially the reference of name take Vansh back to that deadliest day when he's lost His Shelly :-

He has been waiting for long six months so that the reason of his pathetic life gets the ample punishment. Yes, it's been long six months of that deadliest accident that has snatched his love from him while the another person is sleeping peacefully in coma.

Due to hard hit on her brain, Riddhima has suffered the coma for unpredictable time. He's asked the doctors a number of time when she'll get her consciousness back but none has given him desired answer. In between he's listening a lot of taunts inside and outside world.

The personal loss of his love has made him distant from his siblings though dadi has been of great help. She has been the only person to become Vansh's solace when Shelly's family and media are busy to give a dirty dimension to this incident. So he starts to loss his mental peace and invests a personal investigator to find out all information of Riddhima.

None has noticed how their sarcastic taunts are doing on an innocent soul ; it's getting darker with each passing second to destroy his future along with one life.

In between Riddhima has got up from her drowsiness of long six months. After checking her a number of times, doctor assures her to bid adieu to the hospital soon. But before that she faces the blow when the caretaker of her orphanage asks of her relationship with Mr Vansh Rai Singhania of whom she's no personal knowledge, except the fact she's has a slight crush on him just like a normal girl does have a celebrity crush.

She gapes like a fish out of water when the almighty Vansh Rai Singhania appears before her from nowhere. Mrs Gupta, the caretaker leaves them in that cabin only when his chill cold voice sends shivers through her limbs : "So how are you feeling now to be in secret relationship with Mr Vansh Rai Singhania? I know you're enjoying a lot to gain the attention of people and mostly the supposed love of your life -  PRITAM!"

His investigator has done homework well to find out there's some person named PRITAM for whose birthday Riddhima goes to temple for puja each year and she always speaks of PRITAM to her near and dear ones. Though the relationship between the duo has been unknown to them but Vansh smirks in his mind to calculate the exact answer.

However, he looks at Riddhima thoroughly to notice she's lost all colours from her face. Great! Now he'll play the same game which she's played cruelly with his life. He too will seperate her from her love to send the message how does it feel to live a loveless life. Just like it says :

"Lost souls....a dark, violent mystery spiked with some cruel humor and plenty of social criticism."

She asks with dry lips - "How..how do you know of Pritam?....and why are you interested in my life? Moreover, why..why are you here?"

He smiles sarcastically and then the smile turns into a dangerous glare which sends a ghostly fear into her brain and she holds her head in pain. He rolls his eyes thinking it's her another drama to avoid the situation - "Don't tell me you're unaware of the game you're playing with my life? Because I'll not going to buy it. Do you know I've been an inspiration till six months back for my loyal and respectful personality but overnight it's been changed just for YOU. My love has left this world knowing I'm having an illegitimate affair with YOU behind her back....and she's been sent those bloody photographs by someone for her own benefit..and that someone is none other than YOU! Before you deny I must complete that my personal investigator has checked all to come at this point....YOU ARE THE REASON OF MY BROKEN IMAGE IN SOCIETY AND MY MARRIED LIFE. From last six months I'm facing loss in buisness due to the black image .. and the credit goes to YOU.

But now enough of your endless drama! I'm giving you a choice to marry me or I'll destroy that love of your life - PRITAM. For gaining his attention, you've blackened my image so it'll be your duty to restore it. So answer me which option you have chosen....as I've no extra time to see your face."

He comes to reality when Ranjit touches his hand with a sorry face. Vansh smiles sadly and runs his attention towards the senior doctor and joins his hands before her : "Please doctor save MY WIFE....I don't want anything except her being healthy so do anything for bringing her back to life..if she lives then we can plan for another ba..baby but now she's most important. And I know she'll not agree for the treatment if she comes to know we have chosen her life over our unborn child, so promise me that YOU BOTH WILL HIDE THE MATTER OF PREGNANCY FROM HER. I don't her to go through another heartache for me....please!"

They both nod their head and ponder over the news whether that has been the truth or what they're living now. However removing all thoughts aside, Mrs D'Souza asks to bring Riddhima next day at sharp 11 o'clock for abortion so that they can start the procedure of her treatment.

With a lost look, Vansh thanks them to go outside. As soon as he comes outside his eyes get teary thinking why his life is so dramatic....what fault he's in himself or what crime he's done to receive such life? Whenever he loves someone, fate snatches the person from him ; so he's always tried to maintain a safe distance from Riddhima. Living with her for one and half year, he's got to know her nature which is heavy on any outside evidence....but his own promise has bound him to behave rudely with her to break her bubble to have a happy life. He knows that she loves him as her eyes are very expressive. And that's the soul reason why he doesn't look at her eyes .. because they attract him to drown in them and he feels afraid to fall hardest this time.

He remembers the first time they've consummated their marrital bliss, there's been a peaceful bliss on her face. Being angry on himself for giving solace to her unknowingly, he has done the biggest blunder he's uttered Shelly's name after a passionate make out to make her believe he's seen Shelly in HER! It would be truthful to say he's been awestruck at first thinking whether they both are sisters as they have some facial similarities. But chucking the thought, he's concentrated on bringing emotional blow on her.

And he's been successful with time when he's found the pained gaze of Riddhima. After a certain time, he's started to feel conscious of her pains which has started to haunt him in his dreams too....but it's forbidden for him to fall in love with her who is the reason of the disaster of his life.

But unknown to him, he's fallen for that selfless soul many ago!

A sudden collision with a manly figure brings Vansh back to reality and he mutters a quick 'sorry' to the person without looking upon his face. With that he takes a side to leave when the manly voice snaps him back and he recognises him that instant - "Dad!"

Mr Navin Sharma gets enraged with the word Vansh shows his familiarity and within a span of moment, he holds the collar of Vansh's shirt in his clutches to pronounce coldly - "Don't call me with that word when you're the reason behind my one daughter's shorten tenure on earth....and before it gets late tell me where you've kept MY BABY GIRL....MY RIDDHIMA?"

Vansh just couldn't fight back having enough emotional blow before a few minutes ago and now the sudden revelation breaks him totally. So with a blank face he asks the most obvious : "Ri..Riddhima .... YOUR DAUGHTER? How....?"

Mr Navin Sharma scrunches his brows to answer - "Like Shivali and PRITAM, Riddhima too is my kid....the eldest among all!"

Vansh feels like someone has drenched him with cold icy water which forces him to visit a past memory :-

For few days, Shelly has survived before she leaves the world for forever. Before that she's come to consciousness after one complete day.

When she's opened her eyes, all have come to meet her. But her family has put restrictions on Vansh to enter inside but Shelly's continuous asking has weakened all their worries.

When Vansh meets her after the deadly incident for the first time, he's noticed how dislocated her face looks but he forgets everything when Shelly asks with a whimper - "Why?....Has my love not been sufficient that you have to go behind another woman?"

Vansh has tried to go close to her but she shows him her palm to not get close so with a sigh he tries to reason he's been always loyal to their marriage. But he founds her gaze on some point to notice an envelope there. He goes there to find a heap of photographs inside .. but what shocks him is these are all intimate moments of his and his supposed woman he's having affair with!

He knows these are morphed as he doesn't share any kind of relationship with that girl..heck! He has had no idea of that girl before Shelly gets into an accident with her.

That's when Shelly asks him for the promise : "I may sound like an obsessed lover to you but I want only one promise....that YOU WILL NEVER LOVE ANOTHER WOMAN .. YOU SHOULD NOT GIVE MY PLACE TO OTHER WOMAN....I know I'm not going to survive this so you'll surely marry the woman of your choice when our marriage has fallen out of love!

I can't stop the upcoming future but you have swear on OUR UNBORN BABY that you'll marry the girl but will never love HER or have a kid with her .. because I've seen how my own father's infidelity has broken my parent's marriage.... promise me .. promise..!"

She couldn't complete as before that she's fallen unconscious for taking excessive stress. That's been the last time of their meet....as after an week of being in coma, she's left the world leaving him in pit of guilt .. but surprisingly, none couldn't identify her face due to excessive swelling and change of facial features due to medical affects.

Vansh looks at Navin like seeing a ghost and whispers softly - "Pritam?" and closes his eyes to have a clear calculation. Surprisingly he senses something mysterious in this while he should focus on the real problem.
