9 years later....

"Daddy, tell Adrian to let go of my toy!" Cameron squealed through the house. I groaned and walked over to the weeping 5 year old and his older brother. I smiled and picked up Cameron then rolled my eyes at Adrian.

"Really?" I mumbled. He just shrugged and dropped the toy.

"Adrian!" I yelled at him. He chuckled and walked away. For a seven year old, he acts like he's the boss around here.

I sighed and placed Cameron down. He rubbed his eyes and yawned.

Gosh, kid. A minute ago you were all energetic!

"Wanna go to bed?" I asked him as I kneeled next to him. He nodded and smiled at me. I got up and grabbed his hand before leading him upstairs and into his room. I placed him on his bed and tucked him in.

"When is Dad coming home?" He asked. I smiled remembering my beautiful husband.

"In a few minutes, baby." I replied and kissed his forehead.

"Goodnight." I said even though it was like 3 in the afternoon. He mumbled a goodnight and drifted off.

"Babe?" A voice called out from behind me. I turned around to see Alex walking into the room.

"Shhh, you could have woke him up." I whisper-yelled at him. He chuckled and wrapped his arms around my waist before pressing his lips against mine. I smiled and kissed back.

"I missed you." He mumbled against my lips, sending vibrations through my body.

"God, I missed you more." I replied and bit my bottom lip.

"Get a room!" A tiny voice yelled.

"Adrian, my boy!" Alex gushed and pulled away from me before walking towards Adrian.

"Dad!" He squealed and hugged his father. Out of the two, you could tell that Adrian was more into Alex than me, while Cameron was stuck to me like super glue.

"I missed you daddy." Adrian said and pout.

"I missed you to-"

"Did you bring any snacks?!" He cuts him off. I bit my lip, trying to hold in my laughter while Alex face fell. Adrian's goofy smile made me burst out laughing.

"No, I didn't." Alex replied and rolled his eyes.

"I'm kidding, daddy." Adrian giggled and covered his mouth. Alex smiled and picked him up before putting him on his shoulder. He giggled uncontrollablly as his father span him around.

I smiled at the sight in front of me.
