Next day I woke up still pressed to the warmth.

I opened my eyes and looked at his face. He is sleeping so peacefully.

I released myself from him and went inside the bathroom to freshen up.

When I came outside, I saw that he is still sleeping. I shook my head and went towards kitchen to prepare our breakfast.

Actually yesterday I asked for all Indian food items from the store so I made aloo paratha.

I hope he will like it. It is finally over and I was just closing the lid then I felt two arms around my waist.

"You startled me." I said placing a hand on my heart.

"Good morning!" he said kissing on my cheek.

"Good morning! Breakfast is ready, go and freshen up." I said turning around.

"Ok. In the evening we will go outside to a restaurant." He said and left me.

I smiled and placed everything on the dining table.

After sometime he returned and we both had our breakfast enjoying it.

"It is very good." He said after finishing it.

"I hope it is okay with you if I cook Indian food sometimes." I said.

"Totally fine with me. I actually love this." He said smiling.

Later we just talked to each other.

Then my phone ranged and I saw that it is Becks.

"Hey Becks!" I said answering the call.

"Hey Su! Happy wedding anniversary." She said.

She too remembers it. How did I even forget it?

"Thanks. So what happened?" I asked her.

"How do you know Su?" she asked me surprised.

"Well I can hear it from your voice." I replied shrugging.

"Can you meet me for lunch?" she asked me.

I turned to see Matt who is looking at me questioningly.

I closed my eyes and said "Sure!"

Then she told me the place where we will meet and I said that I will meet her in few minutes.

Then I hanged up her call and looked at him.

"I need to go." I said.

"Are you serious? But we thought to spend it with each other Babe." He said frowning.

"I know. But she needs me and she was there when I need her. So I have to go. Our evening plan is still on." I said getting up.

"It better be." He said.

I nodded and got ready to go outside.

"Can I come?" he asked when I reached the door.

"Nope! It's girl time." I replied and left the house.

After fifteen minutes I reached the food court and saw her sitting on a corner table.

"Hey bestfriend." I said reaching near her.

"Hey! So I need to tell you something." She started saying.

But It was cut off by my phone ring. I looked at it and saw that it is from Mel.

I lifted it and said "Hey Mel! Please don't wish me for my wedding anniversary."

"Hey Su! Why?" she asked.

"I don't remember it but you both remember it." I replied frowning and put the phone on the speaker.

"You can't blame yourself. This whole year you actually thought that you got divorced already." Mel said.

"Ok. Now tell me your important news too." I said smiling.

"How do you know?" she asked shocked.

"Duh! I am your best friend." I replied.

"Ok. I will tell you give me a second." She said and we waited for a second.

"I am getting married!" I heard this and I am shocked.

I must feel happy that my best friend is getting married but I am not.

I am just shocked because I heard that line coming from two voices.

I looked down at my phone and at Becks. I repeated this process.

"Mel you can't do that to Jack. How did you both hide your relation from me?" I asked them showing my hurt.

"What?" they both said at a time.

"See you both are perfect actually. Talking at a same time. I am so happy that both my best friends are getting married to each other." I said stressing last words.

"Su!" they both said it again.

"See!" I told them and laughed so much.

"Ok that's enough Su! So Becks who is the guy? We don't know that you are dating anyone." Mel asked over the phone.

"It's Wilson." Becks replied.

"That stupid Wilson." I asked frowning.

"Ok I know he is stupid but don't call him that. Only I have that right on him." Becks said possessively.

Making Mel and me fall into another fits of laughs. She too laughed after few seconds.

"So what is today's plan Su?" Mel asked.

"Well we are going to a restaurant for dinner." I replied.

"That's romantic." Mel exclaimed.

"Let's go to shopping!" Becks shouted.

"Thank god I am not there." Mel mumbled to herself in the phone.

"Well I actually need a dress so let's go." I said and we both bid 'bye' to Mel.

After we had our lunch, Becks took me to buy a dress.

She showed me one and said "Wear this Su. You will look sexy. My brother will not be able to stop himself."

"Is it? Then let's buy it. I will see how will he manage himself to stop." I said with a eveil smile.

"That look! My poor brother." She said dramatically.

We paid and left then suddenly her mobile started ringing.

She lifted it and said "Hey baby!"

Then in a second she shouted "What?" and hanged up.

"What happened?" I asked her.

"Wil went near my brother to tell him about our engagement." She said.

"Ok.." I said asking her to continue.

"My brother is not taking it too well." She said and we immediately left to go to our house.

When we went inside we saw that Matt and Wilson are having shouting matches.

"Guys!" I shouted stopping them.

"Look Babe. He is saying that he will marry my sister." Matt complained near me.

"What's wrong in that? I love her, she loves me." Wilson said reasoning.

"Matt! He is right." I said calmly.

"What? NO I will not accept it." he said shaking his head.

"Matt!" I shouted his name getting his attention.

"She is lucky that the person she loves actually loves her back." I said pressing each word.

He looked at me for few seconds and turned towards Wilson.

"Hurt her Wilson and I will kill you." Matt threatened and hugged him.

After that we all talked for some time until both Wilson and Becks left.

I went inside our room to get ready for the dinner. I showered and got outside.

I opened the dress and wore it. When I was applying lipstick, Matt entered already ready.

He just stared at me and slowly came towards me.

"You are looking beautiful." He said and tried to kiss me.

I moved away and said "Let's go."

He groaned but nodded. We both left the house and went to the restaurant.

*Matt Pov*

At present we are sitting in a restaurant. My wife is just infront of me looking so beautiful.

I asked the manager a small cake with 'First year anniversary' as words written on it.

We cut it and everyone in the restaurant clapped for us.

We gave our orders and started waiting for them.

I took her hand on the table and started caressing it.

Some couple passed our table and stood near us. They saw us and the lady said "Such a cute couple."

We both smiled and said 'Thanks' to her.

"You both must love each other right?" the man asked.

I thought of saying 'Yes' I mean why to say something like 'No' or anything.

I opened my mouth to say but Suhani beat me and said "No we don't actually. We are just married. We don't love each other."

They both got shocked but nodded and left our table.

Suhani looked normal and started eating when our food arrived.

But I just looked at her not understanding why but I feel like something is wrong.

She looked up at me and asked "What happened? Why are you not eating anything?"

"Nothing! You just told them that we don't love each other." I said.

"Which is true, we don't right." She said looking at me confused.

"But you love me right?" I asked her more confused.

"I don't love you any more Matt. And I know that you don't. So why to lie infront of some strangers?" She replied smiling.

"But how are you happy with me when you don't love me anymore?" I asked her little worried.

"I am happy. And what love has anything to do with that. Like you said it is waste so I don't love you anymore. Yesterday you told me right that we will be happy together." She replied.

I nodded and she continued saying "See we are actually happy. You don't love me and I too don't anymore. What else do we need? We will live happily forever and that is important thing. Remaining is just waste."

I saw that she is just still smiling and it felt like she meant what she is saying.

I tried to give a smile to her to which she beamed and continued eating.

I don't know why but I just feel this uneasiness inside.

Why is it effecting me this much that she doesn't love me anymore????

Ok guys i read all your comment in before chapter....

How could you guys think that i will let Su accept him that easily. You have read my previous stories right.

I will never let that happen. Trust me. He have whole lot of suffering to bear...........

And there is a say right 'When things dont work your way, you have to make them work for you'

even in hindi about 'Ghee' so i hope you get the Su's strategy.....
