At present I just sat on the couch and he is in his office room. I need to do duties right!

I will definitely do my duties.

I got up and went inside his office room.

"Won't you go for your Company today?" I asked him standing near the door.

"No today I will stay here." He replied looking up from some files.

"I need to buy groceries." I said.

"For?" he asked me.

"To play with them." I replied sarcastically.

He rolled his eyes and said "You learnt so much in this one year."

"I need them for this house. I even have to cook the dinner right." I said.

"Yeah! I will give you a number of the near store. You can tell your list to them and they will bring them to the house. Just tell my name." He said and gave his phone opening the contact.

"You know when I will get the letter from the hospital, I will have to go outside right?" I asked him.

"I know. But for now you are not." He replied.

"Stupid!" I said under my breath and took his phone.

"What is it babe?" he asked narrowing his eyes.

"Nothing! Just saying yours one of the best quality." I replied sweetly and left his room.

I called the store and told all the items I need. I then told him my name and Matt's name.

After half n hour they delivered all the items.

I missed cooking Indian food. They are so tastey and have this spice touch which is missing in here food.

Now I have the chance right so I decided to cook Indian food with evil smile on my face.

I prepared my favorite dishes and placed them on the dining table.

I went near his office room and said "Husband dinner is ready."

"Coming babe." He said but looked surprised by my sweet voice.

When he sat down I placed his plate infront of him and a glass with cold water.

"I prepared Indian food today. Hope you don't mind." I said looking at him very nervously. This is totally an act which he doesn't need to know.

"Ofcourse! No problem at all." He said smiling.

I started serving him a little more food.

"Woah! This is too much." He said looking at the plate.

"But I made these dishes especially for you. Eat all this in your plate for me." I said in a very sweet voice at which I am hoping that I don't have sugar.

He looked at me suspiciously but nodded and said "Sure! I will for you."

I beamed and sat beside him.

"Why are you acting like this?" he asked me before putting the food in his mouth.

"Like what?" I asked him innocently.

"Like this!" he replied and gestured towards the plate and me.

"I am your wife right. I need to perform my duties too. That's what you want me to do before right? Just eat the food." I said smiling.

He nodded and started to takes his first bite.

After the first scoop of food went inside his food, he looked at me wide eyed.

"How is it dear husband?" I asked him smirking.

"It is very good. Why are you not eating?" he asked.

"I will." I replied and started serving myself.

When I took the first scoop in he just stared at me confused.

I know what is bothering him the food is damn too spicy. I am already used to it and I actually eat more spice so I ate it happily.

I turned to see he is not, so I asked "Is it not nice Husband? You are not eating it."

"Nothing like that. It is very delicious." He replied and started eating it with very pained expression.

To my surprise he ate all the food I placed on his plate.

After eating, he got up saying "I will go to my room."

"Sure!" I said controlling my smile.

I cleaned the dishes and started to go towards our room and then I heard him shouting in our bathroom.

I frowned and glanced inside to see he is washing his mouth and even brushed his teeth.

Maybe this torture is enough. I thought and went inside the kitchen.

I took the honey in a small bowl and went inside the bedroom.

At the same time he came outside and looked at me.

I smirked and thought 'Never underestimate the power of an Indian dish.'

"What happened husband?" I asked him with totally fake worry controlling my laugh.

"Nothing." He said and lay down on the bed.

I shook my head on his stubbornness.

I sat beside him and said "You don't need to hide anymore Matt."

"What are you talking about?" he asked but there is no question on his face.

"Here apply this on your lips. You will be fine." I said giving him the bowl.

He looked at me and the bowl and again at me.

"Why don't you do it?" he asked.

"What?" I asked him shocked.

He didn't reply but sat up and leaned on the bed's head board.

I glared at him but bent forward and started applying the honey on his lips.

My hands literally started shaking but I held them strongly and applied the honey.

"There! You will be fine." I said and started getting up.

But to my luck he pulled me towards again and looked at me.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"Returning the favor." He replied simply and placed his finger in the honey.

He took it out and applied on my lips which are totally trembling.

After he applied I took a deep breath and started getting up.

"Wait! The food was not spicy for you right?" he asked me frowning.

"It is not." I replied.

"Then you don't need this on your lips." He said looking at them.

"Yeah! And that's why I will go and wash them." I said and tried to get up.

Which definitely didn't happen like before, he took the bowl from my hands and kept that beside us.

He pulled me in a way that I had to lay beside him and turned me completely towards him.

"You don't have to do that." He said and started leaning towards me.

"This is getting too much Matt." I said and tried to release myself.

"It is never too much." He said and crashed his lips on me.

Like morning it was hell of a kiss. I didn't stop myself actually.

I mean what I will achieve if I stop it actually.

After ending it he held me closely and said "Let's be happy like this babe. I know you love me and I don't. And I am really sorry because of that."

I looked at him shocked because it is the first time I heard the word 'Sorry' from him.

"Do you know it is the first time I have ever said 'Sorry' to someone after many years?" he asked surprised by himself.

"Well then that means you are actually feeling sorry."  I replied.

"I am definitely. Give me a small chance babe. We will be happy and I promise you that." He said looking at me.

He is totally honest.

Who doesn't want to be happy in their lives? If he thinks I will be then I would love to.

"Sure." I said smiling.

He beamed at me and said "And with that Happy wedding anniversary wife."

I looked at him shocked but he just kissed me.

"I didn't know." I said looking down.

I mean I forgot my wedding anniversary. How could I?

"It's ok Babe. We have so much going around us and I am sure that's why you don't remember it." He said lifting my head.

I smiled and said "Happy wedding anniversary."

"We are going to spend tomorrow with each other." He said.

I just looked at him amazed.

I nodded and placed my head on his chest.

He hugged me tightly and we both drifted into sleep.

I am sure I have a big smile on my face.........
