Ding Dong~
Diiing Dooong~
Ding ding ding dooong~
*lock clicking*
In the dead silence of the luxurious marble tiled house the only sound that could be heard was the main door opening and then closing followed by crisp stepping of an elegant figure with gorgeously silky smooth red hair clad in black suit, white shirt and navy blue tie walking with grace and calculation towards the stairs leading to the first floor.
Once the said person reached the posh wooden door of master bedroom, he turned the knob slowly and pushed the door open silently. There, right in front of him laid his target, face planted on the bed under the covers that were only hiding his body below the waist. Rest was naked and open for all to see and ogle as his body heaved and relaxed with each soft breath but unfortunately no on was there to admire it.
"You're still asleep?"
The brown haired male groaned immediately from under his silk covers upon hearing the familiar voice. No matter how deep and sound his sleep would be, there was this one voice that would always ruin it for him.
"Wakey wakey, Jungkookie~"
The sweet yet dreadful voice of his worst nightmare a.k.a. his manager, Jung Hoseok.
"Go away."
The red head walked over to the bed clicking his tongue in disappointment at the childish words.
"I'm gonna count to three. 1.. 2.. 3!"
When there was no response to his words Hoseok didn't give another chance and went through with his threat.
*swoooosh*
He pulled the covers away in one go making Jungkook hide his head from the light under his arms and mumbling.
"I'll kill you."
Hoseok smiled as he reached the side table to fill the glass with water making the sound of liquid falling in the transparent container clear enough for the other to hear as another threat.
"I love you, too. Would you like a glass of water?"
Those polite words were enough to jolt the brunette straight up in his bed.
"No! Don't! I'm up. I'm up."
The evilly smirking manager chuckled slightly before silently putting the glass back down on the table and making his way towards Jungkook's wardrobe while the said guy burned holes in his back with his optic lasers as he sat on his bed tangled in his covers looking through hooded eyes that were being stung by his messy hair strands.
"Am I looking that stunning today?"
Hoseok asked cheekily without turning back knowing well he had a pair of eyes fixated on him.
"You look like a goat. A very ugly one."
Jungkook insulted back but earned a hearty laughter in return and it made him want to punch his manager.
"Bastard."
Hoseok ignored the rudeness and pulled out a white T shirt and black jeans from the wardrobe. He placed it neatly on the stand outside the bathroom for Jungkook before walking back towards his bed where the brunette was still sitting like a statue.
"Do you need help in getting up?"
Jungkook mumbled million curses under his breath before dragging his body out of his bed and walking towards his bathroom while ruffling his hair in frustration. When he looked back, his manager was making his bed and the brunette took the chance to show his middle finger at Hoseok's back before walking in to freshen up.
When the sound of lock clicking was heard Hoseok straightened up and looked back over his shoulder to ensure that the door was really locked and it was not just a trick to run away. When he was sure that Jungkook had gone in, he let go of his stiff posture as he sat on the bed and pinched his nose bridge as a frown graced his perfect fractures.
/Why am I still with this son of a bitch?
No Hoseok. He's a troubled guy. You must not think of him like that. He needs you.
But he never respects me. Or anyone.
You need to show him the right path. If not you then who will? You know nobody likes him.
He doesn't seem to want anyone to like him.
Don't think like that. He's lonely inside.
I doubt that.
Hoseok!
Sheesh. Fine fine./
Since he was busy battling with his conscience, Hoseok forgot to make an important phone call. Face palming he pulled out his phone from his pocket and dialed a number quickly as he stood up. After the third bell his call was answered.
"Hello. This is Jeon Jungkook's manger, Jung Hoseok speaking. I would like to talk to Mr. Hyung Sik."
"Yes, I'll wait."
It took another minute before he spoke again.
"Ah, Mr. Hyung Sik! I hope you are having a good day."
"Thank you, sir."
"Yes, indeed."
"I see."
"I can do that."
"Next week? I think we can manage."
"We'll see you soon, then. Have a good day."
Right when he put his phone away from his ear, the cocky brunette walked out having only a towel wrapped around his waste and his boxers in his hand.
"What now?"
Upon hearing Jungkook's annoyed voice, the red head turned with a smile and walked over to the stand where Jungkook's fresh clothes were placed. He picked up the pants and straightened them as the other put on his boxers and removed the towel. When he was done Hoseok handed over the pants to him.
"It was Mr. Hyung Sik from SM magazine. They would like to work with you."
Jungkook put his legs in one by one before he pulled his pants up with a jump and reached his hand out for his shirt which Hoseok was already holding.
"Who's Hyung Sik?"
Jungkook's ignorant question made his manager sigh in disappointment as he stepped back after giving the shirt to grab a pair of shoes from the wardrobe.
"This is the seventh time I'm telling you that he's the person who leads SM magazine's photoshoots and had contacted us one month ago for this months shoot. Please use your brain sometimes or it will rust."
The brunette rolled his eyes as he looked for his favourite shoes. He crouched down to look under his bed where he last threw them and sure enough they were there.
"You can't wear those. They are dirty. Here. Take these."
Hoseok stopped Jungkook from putting on the stained shoes as he handed him a pair of neat white converse and took away the black ones from his hands which made the brunette scowl at him.
"They are not dirty. Give them back. I'm not wearing these white ones."
Hoseok ignored his complains and walked over to the laundry basket putting the dirty shoes beside it. When he turned back around he found Jungkook aiming the shoes in his hand at him but he immediately dropped them down when he saw the red head turning back.
/I wish you would just-
Hoseok don't!
I know, I know./
Hoseok kept the smile on his face as he walked back to Jungkook who was trying to avoid eye contact after being caught. Only Hoseok had that tad bit affect on him which made the cocky brunette somewhat cautious of his attitude towards him. Even so, it wasn't much different. He was still very much disrespectful and egoistic.
"Did you forget how to wear your shoes?"
The question made the brunette look up and glare at his manager as he tied his laces.
"When will you quit being my manager?"
The coldness in Jungkook's words hurt Hoseok but he didn't let his true feelings show as he wore a smirk on his face while bending down to meet the other's eye level and whispered mischievously.
"Never."
