Never Have I Ever

I kind of stole this idea from another fanfiction, and honestly Kirishimaunbreakable did a way better job of it, not gonna lie, but I couldn't resist. So shout out to them, and check out their fanfiction I Even Like His Shitty Hair. It is by far my favorite fanfiction I've read for this ship so far. <3 And I know a lot of people reading this were sent over by them, and it means the world to me that so many people have shown so much support for just the first chapter!!! Love you all, and thanks a million for checking out my story! Enjoy. <3

Kirishima walked downstairs the next morning, just as happy and bubbly and bouncy as ever. He went to the kitchen and decided to have an apple for breakfast. Out of habit he plopped down next to Bakugou as he took a bite. At once the boy tensed beside him.

Had he done something wrong? Kirishima remembered the night before all too clearly and wondered if Bakugou had started to have regrets. Or maybe he hadn't been in a normal state of mind and was now furious with himself—or even Kirishima—over what had happened. But there was more in the kiss that told him it wasn't a mistake. He looked over the other boy's face for any sort of sign, but he was just glowering at his food, refusing to relax his shoulders.

Kirishima opened his mouth to say something, but right at that moment Kaminari and Sero sat down across from them with bright smiles on their faces, so Kirishima shut his mouth at once. He wouldn't be able to say anything in front of the other two, so he tried to forget about it as they started up a normal conversation. After a while Bakugou even seemed to relax slightly, at least as much as he normally could relax. But that all went out the window when Mina rushed over to them with an excited bounce in her step. The seemingly floating clothes behind her suggested Hagakure was there as well.

"Do you guys wanna play!?" Mina asked excitedly.

"Play what?" Sero asked curiously.

Mina's eyes shone mischievously as she answered, "Play 'never have I ever'! I told you we would do something as a class again Saturday morning. We haven't done much for fun since the dorm competition."

Kirishima was a little confused. "Isn't that a drinking game? I don't think our teachers would consider that a good bonding exercise."

Hagakure scoffed, "We aren't doing some super inappropriate version or anything, you idiot! The questions are just going to be silly and light, and we're drinking juice. Iida is making sure of that."

"Who's playing?" Kaminari asked.

Mina glared at him as she answered with annoyance, "Almost everyone, now are you all coming or not?"

They all agreed to play, and Kirishima urged Bakugou to join them as they left. "C'mon Bakugou."

"You don't tell me what to do!" He answered angrily but followed them all the same to the living area, all of them taking seats on the floor since the couches were taken already. Sure enough, the only people who were missing were Tokoyami and Todoroki.

"Now then," Iida started as he poured glasses of juice for the newcomers, "we will go around the circle in clockwise order and take turns stating something that we have never done. If someone else in the circle has done this themselves, they must drink from their glass to show to everyone that they have. You are not to make personal statements with the intent of exposing a specific person. You will not ask overly personal questions in general. Lastly, you cannot force someone to elaborate on the confession; no one should feel obligated to tell a story about their experience unless they are willing to do so. Are we in agreement?"

Mina rolled her eyes as she blurted, "Yes, we get it, now sit down! I'm going first!" Iida sat down as she thought for a second and said, "Never have I ever hurt myself with my own quirk."

Everyone laughed as about half the class drank from their glasses, but all eyes were on Midoriya as he sheepishly took a sip of juice. When he noticed them all staring, he just gave them a nervous smile in return.

Next was Hagakure's turn. "Never have I ever said a curse word."

This time all eyes were on Bakugou, but at his glare they all looked away. The questions were somewhat boring so Kirishima started to lose interest and drifted off a bit. He still made sure to listen just enough to participate in the game, but for the most part the questions went in one ear and out the other.

"Never have I ever had a crush on someone in this class."

Yaoyorozu's question took him completely off-guard, turning his face bright red before he could fully register what she had said. Still blushing, he took a quick drink from his glass. He glanced at Bakugou and watched him take a sip of juice as well, feeling overjoyed that he had definitely been the object of Bakugou's crush. Some other students drank as well, to a chorus of 'ooh' from their classmates.

Good, Kirishima thought as he felt the blush slowly leave his cheeks. Hopefully no one noticed either of us drink then.

"BAKUGOU!?" Mina practically shrieked. "Bakugou has a crush!" Every single head whipped in his direction at the exact same time and Mina persisted, "You have to tell us who it is!"

Iida was the first to answer, "Personal questions are strictly forbidden unless he feels the need-"

"NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS PINKY!!!" Bakugou roared back at her, palms igniting and eyes burning with intensity.

Kaminari ignored him completely and took his turn, saying, "Never have I ever kissed someone from this school."

"Fuck this," Bakugou said at once, hopping to his feet and leaving the circle.

"Ooh sounds like Bakugou is quite the stud," Mina whispered with a chuckle when she was sure he wouldn't be able to hear.

Bakugou turned on her in a heartbeat. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU JUST CALL ME!?"

"Calm down," Kirishima said as casually as he could as he stood up to join him, or stop him from murdering their entire class, whichever was needed most.

Mina frowned. "You're leaving too? Right when it was getting good? But you're his friend I bet you could tell us all about it!"

Kirishima shrugged, pretending to be sad as he answered, "Sorry, maybe later. I'll catch you for the next game though, it was fun!"

At the last second he turned around and drank the rest of his glass of juice. Hopefully it would just seem like he was being polite, but in all honesty, he would have felt guilty for not taking a sip at that question. He wanted to finish the game fairly, anyway. With that he retreated down the hall, leaving the rest of their class to stare questioningly after them and theorize amongst themselves.

"Hold up!" Kirishima called up the steps, finding that Bakugou was already halfway up to the fourth level. "We should talk!"

With a sigh he raced after him, taking the stairs two at a time but still struggling to catch up with Bakugou, who showed no signs of slowing. Luckily Kirishima was in good shape, or the climb at that speed might have actually killed him. Nevertheless, when he reached the fourth floor he felt like his lungs were going to explode. He paused at the top of the stairs and took big gulps of air as he watched Bakugou disappear into his room. After a minute he let out a groan and followed him inside, shutting the door behind him.

Bakugou was sitting on the bed with his arms crossed and a scowl on his face, but his body and expression relaxed a small bit when the door clicked shut. Kirishima nervously walked over to him, suddenly unsure of what exactly he wanted to say. He stared at him in silence for a while, not entirely sure what he should do.

Surprisingly Bakugou was the one to break the silence. "That was stupid," was all he said, but he was pouting as he did. It was a strange look on his face.

Kirishima laughed, "Oh, man, when they asked about crushes, I was so glad that they didn't notice me! I was so nervous."

"Lucky you," Bakugou said with a sigh, still pouting slightly. "What am I going to do with you?"

Kirishima just smiled back. A minute later he answered, "Go out with me."

"What?" Bakugou looked at him like he was crazy.

Eijirou rubbed the back of his neck nervously as he replied, "Well this all seemed so sudden and everything...maybe we should, like, go out on a more official date, or something. We can talk about it."

"You're out of your damn mind," Bakugou scoffed. "What if we get caught?"

"Then we can go somewhere out of town where no one we know will recognize us. Or just some stupid picnic with no one around. Whatever."

Bakugou rolled his eyes and Kirishima warily sat down next to him on the bed, a nervous little smile on his face. He sure did love to smile in every situation, it seemed. Bakugou's gaze shot down to where Kirishima grabbed his hand, holding it in two of his own gently.

"Bakugou, would you like to go out on a date with me tonight?" His ruby red eyes were bright with hope.

"You idiot," Bakugou answered, brows furrowing in confusion. Kirishima's heart dropped, until Bakugou added, "Of course I will, but why do you have to be so fucking weird?"

Bakugou's fingers tightened around his, giving them a light reassuring squeeze. Kirishima's smile returned tenfold, and he looked back up into Bakugou's eyes. They were still roiling with what seemed to be anger and annoyance, but he was starting to learn to read past that. Once he broke through his defenses and the hard, cold exterior, he thought he could see the smallest traces of genuine affection somewhere inside. Bakugou did like him after all, even if he wasn't entirely sure how to show it.

As he looked into his eyes, Kirishima couldn't resist giving him a small kiss. Instantly Bakugou's hands were in his hair, holding him firmly in place as he eagerly joined the kiss. Kirishima melted under the touch of his lips, allowing Bakugou to guide him with his hands however he wanted. Unlike the last time they had a general idea of what they were doing. He felt Bakugou bite his lip and gasped in response, giving the other boy an opening. He deepened the kiss at once, and Kirishima moaned into his mouth in response.

Before he knew it he was on his back, surrounded by Bakugou. Their hands were in each other's hair, legs tangled together, mouths locked. Then Kirishima felt a hand on his bare hip; Bakugou must have gotten under his shirt at some point. The warm fingers traced over his abs one by one, leaving tingling trails in their wake all over his skin. Then he realized Bakugou was trailing kisses down his neck as well and his heartrate skyrocketed. He opened his mouth a bit and panted slightly, feeling soft lips and sharp teeth alternating over the sensitive skin of his neck.

"That sounds so good," Bakugou said in his ear before giving it a playful bite. His voice was deeper and huskier than usual.

Kirishima clutched Bakugou's shirt tightly in his fists and made a whimpering noise; he wasn't sure he could have made any coherent words if he tried. But then, all at once, Bakugou stopped. His hand was pressed to Kirishima's chest, lips still hovering over his ear as he let out a shaky breath.

"Why'd you stop?" Kirishima asked weakly. His head was still foggy and his whole body feverish from the other boy's careful touches.

"We can't keep pawing at each other like animals every time we get a moment alone," Bakugou responded in a level voice.

"Why not?" Kiri pouted.

Bakugou sighed as he sat up. "You know damn well why."

Kirishima drew his legs up to his chin, frowning. Bakugou's face showed an expression of sympathy for the briefest second as he leaned forward again and gave him a little peck on the lips.

"I want to be able to spend time with you. This should be more normal and natural...you know what I mean?" Bakugou said to him. "I want to be able to spend time with you without...this being the only thing we think about."

Kirishima thought for a moment. It did seem like it was difficult for them to hangout casually alone without his mind turning to mush now. Maybe Bakugou had a point, though in that state he hated to admit it: if they wanted to have any form of actual relationship it should be based on more than just blind lust. Come to think of it, that sounded like a better idea. Maybe.

With a little smile Kirishima said, "So how about 5 o'clock we go for a run together then grab something to eat? Out on the town somewhere."

Bakugou smiled back at his change in attitude, and Kirishima decided he would never get tired of that briefest little moment of almost happiness that graced his face. "That sounds great. I'll see you then."

The redhead continued to show his shy, toothy smile as he got up and walked to the door, feeling Bakugou's gaze on his back as he did. He opened the door, walked out into the hallway, and as soon as the door to his own room shut behind him he leaned against it and let out a deep breath he didn't know he'd been holding. It would be a long couple of hours waiting for 5 to come.
