When someone's soulmate dies, the reflection of them is shattered, broken, and grey.

But for Bon.
His soulmate is alive because the image of Rin isn't grey or broken, but It looks like he's shattered because each part is showing a different part.
Some show him with blue flames, other's white hair, and a few show him with dark blue hair, with pointed ears. 
Bon was scared at first, but when he saw that his soulmate was even more scared of rejection, he learned that even if he's the spawn of satan he's still the same person.
