"Okay, don't panic." He whispered as he looked at the door while I pushed him off me and jumped from the bed.

"Don't panic? Are you kidding me? It could be your parents and I think they must have heard us doing unspeakable things to each other. I am so screwed." I rushed out without breathing and grabbed my clothes to wear it immediately. He laid back on the bed and started to laugh at my misery as I was struggling with my dress zipper.

"Unspeakable things?! You are so adorable." He spoke through his chuckle and started to wear his own shirt before walking towards the door without giving a second glance at me.

"Unbelievable, Tyler. The least you could do is help me before you get the freaking door." I hissed, giving him a glare and he raised his hands in defense before he could come to my aid.

"You know what?" he asked as he pulled up my zipper and I could feel his hot breath teasing my neck in a way that my body enjoyed. I licked my lips and took a deep breath to calm down my hormones before responding.

"What?"

"I would love to see this attitude of yours in bed later. It's such a turn on." He whispered, making me go still and I tried so hard to fight the smile that was creeping on my face right now. I elbowed him on his ribs, earing a loud groan and immediately shut his mouth with my hands.

"Jesus!..you are making it worse. Go get the door. I will hide in the bathroom." I whispered and rushed inside. He simply shook his head with a small smile and walked towards the door while I held my breath, ready to embrace the walk of shame in case I get caught by his mom or dad or worse, both of them.

"But I heard Chloe's voice just now."

My eyes went wide in shock and relief at the same time when I heard a familiar soft voice.

It was his sister Lily.

Thank God!

"Yeah, she is using the bathroom. I'll call her out in a bit. Why aren't you in bed?"

"I had a nightmare and I couldn't sleep. I was on my way to mom and dad's room but then I heard some voices so I knocked." She explained in her cute little voice which made my heart melt and I just wanted to go outside and take her in my arms to comfort her.

"Aww, poor baby! Come on, let's go get Chloe and we can all have some milk and cookies. Is that fine?" 

I smiled at the way Tyler spoke to his little sister and it just warmed my heart. I couldn't wait inside any longer and walked outside to meet them.

"Chloe! I knew it was you. What are you doing here?"

She rushed towards me and hugged my legs instantly, making me laugh. I bent to her level and pushed her hair away from her face softly.

"Well, your brother was having nightmares as well so he called me to comfort him." I joked, giving him a wink and she nodded in an understanding manner.

"Yeah, my mom used to be worried about that earlier but I'm glad you are there to help us both now." She grinned widely while I scruched my eyebrows in confusion.

What was she talking about?

Does he have nightmares for real?!

"Tyler, what is she..."

"Alright, let's go downstairs and get some cookies, ladies." He clapped, getting Lily's attention and I shut my mouth immediately as he lifted her in his arms. I followed them downstairs silently, lost in my own thoughts, wondering how much more he was struggling mentally. I wished there was something I could do for him and it killed me to know that he was hurting alone.

I sat down next to Lily behind the kitchen counter and we both watched Tyler, heating up some milk.

"So, tell us about thisnightmare, Lily. Was it scary?"

"Yeah, Tyler. There was this huge demon with red eyes and scary teeth ready to attack me. I kept running and running and woke up before it could get me." She explained with a scared look on her face and I couldn't help but hug her tightly sideways.

"Well, next time instead of running, try fighting, Lily. Just imagine how strong and brave you are and you will hold the power to chase away your demons." I added, looking at Tyler and our eyes locked with each other. He knew I was speaking to him indirectly and smiled at me warmly as I kissed Lily on her forehead.

"Here you go, guys."

He placed two glasses of milk and a plate of choco chip cookies in front of us. Lily beamed in delight and started to dive into the cookies first as expected.

"Who gives a kid cookies at night?" I asked with raised eyebrows and he smirked at me before leaning in closer from the opposite side of the counter. I held my breath as he kept inching closer and closer, our eyes never breaking contact.

"The best things are always forbidden." He whispered, looking down at my lips and licked his own, making me swallow hard and I went blank for a split second.

Fuck!

It's like he has some crazy magnetic power that draws me towards him every single time.

"Isn't it Lily?" he quickly turned his attention to her and I finally let out the breath that I was holding.

"Yeah, I won't tell mommy, Tyler. Just like the last time." She grinned with her mouth full of cookies and I shook my head with a small smile and continued to drink my milk.

Once we were done, I offered to do the dishes while Tyler was playing with Lily behind me.

"Can I sleep with you guys tonight?"

I heard Lily's voice and turned around to look at Tyler's expression which was worth capturing. He opened and closed his mouth, unable to deny her request. He looked at me with a small pout and I shrugged in response as I didn't mind it even a bit. I would honestly love to spend more time with Lily.

That kid grows on you.

"Sure, why not?! Let me lift you up." He smiled and took her in his arms upstairs to his room all the while looking at me with so much desire in his eyes. I sighed and completed the dishes quickly before joining them upstairs only to find Tyler already waiting for me outside the door and he instantly caged me against the wall next to his door.

"Tyler, what the hell are you doing?" I whisper yelled at him, looking both sides to see if anyone was coming but he had his eyes transfixed on me.

Not that I didn't like it.

"Listen, Chloe. About the nightmares.." He started but I stopped him by placing my finger on his lips. I starred at his face, the real him without glasses. The one that only I get to see and admire. He was simply beautiful inside out and I was proud to call him mine.

"Shhh.. it's okay. I know and just remember what I said in the kitchen. You are no longer alone. You have me and we can fight this together." I whispered and a he did was breath heavily, running his eyes all over my face in an amusing manner.

"God! The things I want to do to you right now. Hate the unfortunate turn of events tonight but we always have tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that and even forever." He finished with a small smile and I grinned at his choice of words.

"Forever?" I asked doubtfully because he used to be replused by the idea of dating, let alone being in a relationship.

"Yeah, why not? I'm just livin' for the hope of it all."

I stared at him for a good couple of seconds before bursting out in laughter, not caring if I was loud enough to wake up the entire house.

Did he just quote Taylor Swift?!

"Oh my God! You just quoted one of Taylor Swift's lyrics. Do you know that?"

"I know. August. Big fan." He winked, kissing my nose and I stared at him with my jaw hanging to the floor. I simply couldn't believe it. He was probably the first guy I know who likes Taylor Swift which was insane.

Are you for real, Tyler?!

"Well, in that case I am willing to be your girlfriend only because of the fact that you like Taylor Swift." I added in a teasing manner and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Hmm.. that's funny because I don't remember asking you, Princess." He teased me back, earning a slap on his shoulders.

"Shut up, Tyler." I chuckled and pulled him in for a kiss. I felt him smile against my lips as he deepened the kiss. I got the familiar tingling sensation and my toes curled in response when he slipped his tongue inside my mouth, tasting me.We were both carried away that we didn't notice Lily standing beside us with her hands on her hips.

"Ew! Tyler, why are you kissing her? Are you married to Chloe?"

We immediately pulled apart, startled by her presence and I wiped my lips, giving him a confused look.

"Well, not exactly. We are dating so we kissed, Lily." He answered, scratching the back of his head and my cheeks went red in embarrassment.

Kill me, already!

"But you told me I'm not allowed to date or have a boyfriend until I'm 21. How come Chloe alone gets to have a boyfriend?"

Damn, the kid was smart.

"Because she doesn't have an older brother. You ask way to many questions. Let's get you in bed, monster." He scooped her in his arms while I laughed out loud at the way he answered her question smartly. I leaned against his door and watched him tuck her in his bed and he sat down beside her.

"Wanna hear a story, princess?" he asked, looking back at me with a wink. I nodded excitedly, joining them on the bed and found myself falling in love with him all over again.
