•Astrid's P.O.V•

Just in the library trying to focus on studying, as I'm kinda struggle with a class which I cannot give up on. As weeks passed already, I made quite several friends now and here's one of them.

"This is quite fun actually!"Cami said, cheerfully.

And this is one of them, she's nice, blonde haired, same figure, and the usually Berk High uniform. We've met like literally just bump into each other and somehow thought of start chatting for abit then later on we became friends.

"I told you you need more studying, than looking at boys"I chuckle at her silliness.

"Okay, I do really need to stop that nonsense"She admitted, going back to her notes.

"Finally you listened!"I get annoyed, always about boys this one.

"Astrid you're something, I god hope there's a boy out that got eyes on you"She glaze around the library.

I slightly blush tucking a strand of hair behind my ear"well, ummmm maybe".

She stare at me quickly like a owl moved its head"What?".

"N-nothing, I was saying we should do some flash cards".

She smirk"oh c'mon now, I know what I'd heard!".

"Whatcha heard is what I said"I muttered.

"Aha! So Astrid Hofferson does have a crush out there! Am I right??"She point at me.

"Okay! You got me"I resisted.

"I always win these kind of arguments"She sighs"anywho, who's the lucky guy?".

I rolled my eyes and don't wanna say his name"I can't say".

She blinks oddly"why not?".

"Because you might laugh at me"I fiddle my pencil.

"Don't me chicken!"She singly said.

I then glare at her"nobody. Ever calls me Chicken!".

"So what's his name then?"She smirk, waiting on my answer.

I quickly cough then suddenly I spot Hiccup along with his friends, what a coincidence too

I gestured my hands to Hiccup over there.

Cami turned her back at the direction I'm gesturing

"Ooohhhhh Hiccup Haddock The Third!"She said, playfully.

"Shhhhhh! Don't say his name out loud"I shush her.

She turned around to give me an teasing look"is Astrid scared of Hotcup?".

I then blush looking away"oh shut up, it's not like he has feelings for me already, plus I'm not that great".

"C'mon Astrid! You look gorgeous. You got big boobs! Beautiful hair! And nice figure!"She gesture at me.

"T-thanks, even though I'm a hermit to watch Netflix but thanks"I nervously chuckle.

"You're welcome"She winks"besides, either way Hiccup will be taken sooner or later. You gotta worried about your competition".

"Wait what?"

"Oh! I forgot, you just got here recently. Ever since ninth grade. Hiccup kept getting these girls at him, but none of them can't"She explains the dilemma.

"What? Really? These girls are trying to win Hiccups heart?".

"Yep. Well that's what I heard from drama"She shrug"it's just a simple high school experience".

"Yeah. I guess you're right"I look over at Hiccup who is laughing with his friends.

"I wonder"I thought.

"Damn it!"I mumbled, crumpling up my paper as I try to brainstorm for my upcoming assignment and frankly I can't think at this moment.

"Is Astrid mad that she can't accomplish one thing?"Hiccup mocks me from behind.

I smirk then turn my side and throw the crumpled paper at him"shut up Haddock!".

He chuckles"whoops my bad".

"Ugh, you're such a child sometimes"I tease, as I went back to my brainstorming.

"Hey it's part of my charm"He laughs"plus are you grumpy at that moment? You've been avoiding me since this morning?".

"Oh! N-Nothing! Just been busy with these assignments heheheh"I lied.

"You haven't spoke to me during hospitality class"He point out"which you completely ignore my smarta$$ remarks".

"Oh...it's a lot of my mind"I said, honestly.

"Understandable, I know girls feel differently when they-"

"Moving along! How's your day been?"I asked, avoiding no further awkwardness from me.

"Just the usual, getting these assignments down and hoping to keep my grades up as usual"He said, nonchalantly.

"Sounds fun!"I said, sarcastically.

"It is"He said, looking at me.

I look away"as for me I'm just trying my best, it isn't easy on moving to different schools a lot. But I hope this place will be suitable for me".

"Trust me, this school is great. You just need to get your Berkian self out"He encourages me.

I nod head a so went over my work to continue.

•End Of The Day•

Just casually walking down the hallway as Hiccup is off doing some errands, so I took my liberty time to walk and look at the wall frames around the school. Checking their history of course and all the problem that perviously graduated here.

"Interesting"I murmured, walking by the awards.

Then my cousin shows up.

"Hey Cuz, you're not going home?"Tyler asked me, concerning.

"Oh no, just walking around. Checking out here. Don't worry I'll get home"I assure him.

"Okay, I'm heading back. Later"He waves, as I left continuing on my boredom.

I scoffed"always worried about me. Not like I can't handle myself".

I seriously punched out a few joys back in my day. Well mostly they're f##k boys and yeah it's not easy being a girl.

"I might as well go home"I look over one last trophy.

As I got home, they won't home yet so I went to my room, drop my backpack on the bed and went over to my dresser as I look at myself on the mirror.

"Maybe I should put my hair down instead of braiding it"I look over my dresser and sat down on the chair.

I open one of the drawers and pull out my headband.

I then decided to try something different tomorrow, try out my new look.

"This will be perfect"I said, confidently.

•Next Day•

I walked in the school, casually on my uniform and hopefully to have a good day. And last night was fun, having a difficult time having a hair style for this day. But I just did whatever I can, I then suddenly spot Ruffnut and Cami talking to each other by the lockers.

I went up to them in a greeting.

"Good morning girls!"I said,

Both of them look up and saw me with awe looks.

"Astrid! Your hair?! It looks beautiful!"Cami sighs, dreamily.

"Wow Astrid! You look sexy!"Ruffnut teases.

I rolled my eyes"oh please, I tried my best for a typical hair style".

"So what's the occasion? Is it for Hiccup?"Cami smirk, looking at me.

"N-No, just trying something new"I shrug, as I try not to do anything silly.

"Okay then, but I smell a lie"Cami nudges my arm.

I Gasp"I wouldn't lie to you girls, honestly, just trying a new look".

"Arightly then"Cami looks at me suspiciously as she walk away to her home room.

"Well I might as go before Mrs Cass starts b##chy at me. Bye!"Ruffnut trails off.

"Well it's just me now"I shrug as I continue walking down the hallway, looking all these students sitting on the floor by their lockers, standing and talking before classes start.

I'm already sued of wearing these uniforms because I felt like I belong here and it is great that this school isn't so bad.

Until my thoughts were shaken by a person who bump into me as I was walking, without knowing my surroundings.

"Oops! Sorry!"I said, apologizing, looking who it was.

"It's okay, Miss- Astrid? Is that you"

It was Hiccup who was just looking down at his book.

"Y-Yeah"I respond nervously.

He didn't say anything he just kept looking at me shockingly and his mouth was open.

"I-I-I, y-y-you look"He stutters, as he look away for a quick moment"youlookbeautiful".

I gave him my confused look"whaaa?".

"N-N-Nothing! It's just you look so different with your hair down"He looks at me, as I think I saw a tint of red on his cheeks.

"T-T-Thanks"I slightly blush, as I fold my arms.

"Anyways, let's get to class"He pulls his backpack aside as he nods his head to the stairwell.

I smile"let's go then Hicky!".

As I quickly walk up before I can hear him say

"Whaaa?"

Oh my gosh, I think I just started something, did I really hear him say I look so beautiful. Boys are weird these days and I hope something amazing will happen.

As I was in class I couldn't stop glancing over at Hiccup who is working on the questions we were supposed to do this morning.

Great I'm just a stuttering girl who can't even control herself about this one.

Hiccup and Astrid?

I don't know.

Imagine it has a ship name, that'd be funny and kinda cute to be honest, if someone says a ship name about me and Hiccup as in combining our names together, I'll kiss him.

I then smile and hold my laughter, I don't wanna jinx myself now.
