•Astrid's P.O.V•

Hi, my name is Astrid, Astrid Hofferson, and this is Berk. Me and my Mom moved as we tried moving on from our past lives, Berk is a very multicultural city where I met a lot of amazing people which now I called friends. That is when I met Hiccup, my very good friend or should I say Boyfriend. After spending my High School life with him it was a life changer for me, that is when things got a little strange, more like a shadow followed me.

It has been four years since the incident at Berk High that you heard of. Ethan my worst enemy, my Ex best friend had tormented my friends, my family and myself. He hurted Hiccup, caused him a foot to lose, but luckily we haven't heard of Ethan for awhile, as he just vanished without a trace.

However, he stole something in Berk Museum which amuses Hiccup about this Dragon Eye that has been in Berk History for generations and yet Ethan stole one Emerald in Berk High. I don't think it was so important, but it is so important to Ethan.

I don't know why Ethan wants it, I'm afraid Berk City will become the same place that me and Mom sued to live on.

He's up to something and I intend to find out why, right now me and Hiccup are currently finishing our university year and we'll get to work to finding out what is Ethan is up to. 2021 is our year to graduate from University.

"Hiccup?"I enter the dorm and saw him typing on his laptop.

"Afternoon Milady"He responded"how was your exam?".

"Oh you know, passing it with my insanity of few hours of sleep. What about you?"I place my hands on his shoulders.

"Ugh I'm dying here"Hiccup groans"so glad this is my final assignment to submit and get going with my exam  tomorrow".

"You'll be fine Love"I press his shoulders"this is our year Hiccup".

"I know"Hiccup reaches over my hand"so, any plans for dinner?".

"Pasta and salad?"I suggested.

"Sounds good"He smiles, kissing my hand as we got on with our studying.

Me and Hiccup managed to get our own small apartment on campus and with the help our parents we couldn't be more thankful. One time, we went to a ring arena with our skates as I tried keeping my balance Hiccup helped me up and in the corner of my eye I see his parents looking so proud.

I felt so embarrassed as our relationship is strong, and being together for about 5-6 years now, it's at that time period of that M word.

But am I ready? I don't know but we'll see.

"Milady, I have to go out. My Dad wants to see me"Hiccup placed a kiss on my cheek"I'll be back before dinner".

"K babe!!"I said, while I was prepping dinner.

Ugh look at me, I look like a house wife, I couldn't help but to smile as I watch my man about to leave.

"Hiccup! Don't forget your mask!"I called out.

"Ugh! Almost forgot"He grabs his mask and went on out.

So apparently in 2020 there had been a covid outbreak which cause an pandemic, sadly a lot has change over these months. But it seems everything is dying down and seems like Covid is just going to be a regular thing, don't hate me for it.

•Hiccup's P.O.V•

I'm currently in my car driving to a local coffee shop where my Dad wanted to meet. So yeah, the passed four years has been quite busy for us, and my left foot has been amputated but now I got a prosthetic that helps me to get around normally. I'm still able to move around as much, but once in awhile I can still feel it.

Astrid and I couldn't forget that day, the day She showed her true self that she tried to keep away from me, I never really understood what was happening between them, but I know it was serious, I saved her.

Unfortunately the problem is still out there, it has been four years now and nothing ever appears. But what's bothering me is the Dragon eye that was stolen from the museum, Viggo was very upset of it but haven't given up on searching it, he told me it was important and should be locked up knowing how valuable it is.

Oh looks like I'm here, better get going to see my Dad. As I parked by the coffee shop I see my Sad at the booth waiting for me, I enter and wave at him walking in a slight limp movement.

"Hey son! Glad you can made it!"Dad greets.

"Hey Dad! Good to see you"I said, sitting across from him"how's it been?".

"Ah not too bad, the usual, how about you Son? How's your studies coming along?"He

"Studies are great! We're on our exam week. This is our final year"I said, proudly.

"Ver good Son! Oh forget to mention how was your special someone?"He chuckles.

"We're doing good! Astrid's been acing her classes, but..."I hesitated.

"What is it son? Is everything alright?"My Dad says, in a concerning tone.

"Everything is been okay...but I wanted to ask you something"I tap my fingers on the table.

"What Son?"

"Dad, do you think it's time?"I asked him.

"Time for what??"He wonders.

I hesitate to reach in my pocket as I brought out a small box as I gave out a nervous smile.

Dad looked shock as his face brightens up with excitement"you're gonna ask Astrid to marry you?!?!".

"Dad!!!"

"Have you asked her?! No wait you didn't get! But son! This is great news!"He shouted out in excitement.

"Dad! I haven't asked her yet. W-w-what if she says no?!"I stammered, looking around as few people saw the commotion.

Dad laughs as he patted my back hard"haha! This is great news!".

I groan in pain"ah my back! Dad!".

Dad chuckles"sorry son! But this is great, you finally gonna ask her".

I slightly chuckle in a nervous manner"I'm planning to, but I want your opinion. Do you think is the right time?".

"Hiccup"

"Look, I don't want to rush things-"

"Son, do you love Astrid?"He asks, in seriousness.

"Yes"I nod my head.

"How long you have known Astrid?".

"About 5-6 years"I recalled.

"Then it's really up to you both, if you're ready to move forward with your relationship, but I strongly suggest purpose to her!"He grins, grabbing his drink.

I smile, then thought to myself as these years with Astrid, our relationship. But I need to know for sure if she's ready as I glance down at the small box.

•Astrid's P.O.V•

Dinner was ready as I waited for Hiccup to come home. As I sit back and glance at our small photo frames I couldn't help but to smile. Being with Hiccup changed my life and our relationships has ups and downs as a couple would always go through.

His kindness and love will make me love him forever. It has been 5-6 years since we've been together, is it at this point where he decides to purpose to me. I blush knowing if Hiccup ever purpose to me, I would be Astrid Haddock.

I slightly giggled to think getting marry would be cheesy and sweet, but if he really wants that, I'm okay with it. How would I let him know I'm ready. We're at this point on finishing up our degrees and if we continue on going to the paths we want. We'd have a good life, almost a good life.

Suddenly, the door opens as Hiccup had finally made it home.

"Hey Boo!"I greet, walking back to the kitchen.

"Evening Milady!"He greets"mmm something smells good!".

I chuckle, as I brought his plate of food"I hope you're hungry".

"Thank you"He says, while I sat across from him.

"So how was your Dad?"I asked.

"He's doing good! Wanted to catch up on what we're doing, he said hi by the way!"He said, grabbing a spoon full of pasta.

"Good to hear!"I responded, as we begin eating away our dinner.

After dinner we just sat around, relax. We watched a movie to keep us busy, it was a funny loving movie, I'm glad I'm spending a lot of time with him as much as possible, knowing how our lives are getting busy.

While the movie was over we set our selfs to bed, as tomorrow is our final exam. Many hours had passed by as I couldn't sleep, so I went on my laptop and thought about doing some research on Berk history. I glance down at the website of the Berk History, looking at the Dragon Eye image, in the information section and it stated it was a myth that there are seven inserted slots that can activate the dragon eye.

"Astrid?"Hiccup yawns as he's waking up"what are you doing?".

"Oh I'm just researching"I replied back, focusing on the description"I couldn't sleep".

Hiccup stands next to me and place a hand on my shoulder"you're still searching aren't you?".

I frown"yeah, I just....it has been three years since the incident Hiccup. I know he stole that dragon eye but I'm still suspicious on what's he been up to".

Hiccup shirt and pull up the chair"Astrid, if he was doing something crazy, we'd find out immediately. But he has been a no show for quite some time".

I sigh, lean back against the chair"I know I'm crazy, but you should've heard what he was saying to me that day".

"Don't worry Milady, everything will be okay"He assures.

I look back at my katana that's in the closet right now, thinking back this isn't over yet.

"What are you up to Ethan"I whisper to myself.

•Meanwhile•

Ethan was able to trace down an object that may help him on tracking down the other gems as for the past four years He reached a dead end but with the help from his Handler, he was able to trace down this object from this unknown location.

More like between Berk City & Berserkerville out in the lands. Ethan got out of his car and stare over a hill that is covered with environmental debris, trees, anything that is keeping sight of not being notice.

He slightly smirk, as he walks closer to a wall of vines that seem to be covering up a stone wall. He cleared it as he seems what it appears to be a door and there is a slot on the side.

Ethan raise his eyebrow and brought out the Dragon Eye along with the emerald gem, he activates it and point the beaming light on the slot which made the door open slowly as the area begin rumbling. Whole pointing the Dragon Eye the reflective light beams back at him as his right eye appeared to be red retina, the slight damaged Astrid has done to him. Although Ethan still able to see, regardless of his injuries before.

Ethan kept his balance as the door finally opened for him to enter. Once he got inside it was dark, covered with its environment like someone has never got inside for years or even centuries.

Ethan brightens up his flashlight as he continues on the same pathway that could lead where He wanted to go, after travelling some time Ethan reached to a big room and down in the middle of it was the object he was searching for.

"There you are"Ethan sneered, as he reaches to the object and picked it up.

He inspected the object and was amused hoe this small object would help him.

"It looks like a compass?"He said to himself, as he tried to find a way to activate it.

"No matter, I will find a way"Ethan then made his way out but stopped his tracks as he glance back and spotted something on the top wall in front of Him.

Ethan used his flashlight to see descriptions, carvings on the wall and saw the images and the wording.

"The Dragon Eye's true purpose....."
