What I know so far is quite interesting really, I'm off to my math class, and this is gonna be quite challenging really. An academic math class,

"This is not what I'm expecting but okay, I see how it is"I thought to myself, as I slowly got into the math lesson.

"Hello Beautiful! Sit next to me!"said a small perverted boy.

"Gustavo! Pipe down!"said the teacher.

"Please sit here!"a blonde headed girl says, kindly.

I put a small smile and guide myself to her as I sit next to each other.

"New student? I can show you around"Gustavo said in a flirty tone which I wish to punch his teeth out.

"Now class, as I said. Grade tenth math will be challenging. But don't worry, as long as you study!"He narrow his eyes to Gustavo"you'll do fine!".

I thought to myself wondering, if math will be a challenge for me, but grade nine math wasn't that hard. So if I play my cards right, I'll get in that honour roll.

At least I can a good view by the window area of the classroom, feeling a lot comfortable here. Except that Gustavo character, he looks younger to be a frickin tenth grader.

Note to self, maybe a school bus will be considering, otherwise the city bus is crap as always, it's not really busy in the mornings. Easy to get there quick though, and get me on time also. So I'm just sitting by myself, as I'm kinda tired still of waking up around 7:30 to get ready for school like other days.

I wonder College students do, I heard they get 8am lectures.

This hospitality tourism isn't so bad, at least we get food out of it. A lot of learning about cooking and first off I get to the dishes while everyone prepare, but I did participate on prepping the ingredients.

The teacher is kinda enough to help me around the kitchen, my classmates are nice, mostly girls. And a few boys around. He's in this class too.

Just by the sink area near the dishwasher, sorting everything out before doing so, until suddenly I felt a deep presence near me.

"You need a hand?"The boy ask me, as I was just cleaning the dishes alone.

"Yes please"I mutter, feeling kinda shy still.

"I'm Hiccup"Boy says too quick for me to hear.

"What?"I ask, giving him a confuse look but I kinda smile which I don't know why.

"Hiccup my name is Hiccup"He chuckles nervously.

"Oh. I'm Astrid"I said softly.

"Huh?"He shook his head.

Astrid smiles"my name is Astrid".

As we both look at each other and smile weirdly. I kinda feel awkward talking to this boy, I don't know why. I still have this odd feeling still.

"I haven't seen you around here before. You're new aren't you?"He asked kindly, as we placed the silverware in the dishwasher.

I shrug"yes I'am, a new student here in this lovely Berk High that everyone talks about".

"Your family goes here too? Before"He said, handing me the spoon.

"Yep, my uncle was the last, and now it's me, second semester of this year. Quite fortunate saying"I lightly chuckle, turning on the dishwasher.

"Really, nice! You'll love it here. Again of saying"He chuckles lightly, about to scratch his back head.

"Uh uh uh! Don't scratch, you're in the kitchen mister!"I said, in a demanding tone. Giving him my Hofferson look.

He rolled his eyes"being bossy I see?".

"We Hofferson have short temper"I told my arms and give him a smirk.

"Is that so. I better be careful then"He smirks then trails off to his station.

I look behind him and smile, knowingly he's very generous and a gentleman. After the class has ended, and it was lunch time of course, I kinda decided to stick with Hiccup for some reason.

"So you're new here?"He ask, as to start off this conversation.

I shrug"I just transfer here yesterday. Again with he question eh".

"Really? That's awesome, Berk High is a great place to get education"He says, as we pass by other students coming out of classes.

"My Mother recommended this school, I guess she was right about it"I said, as I pull my backpack strap.

"My family Been going to this school for a long time"He said"quite a tradition".

"It's nice, just a regular high school, but the uniforms, I'll get used to"I said, proudly.

"So have you check around the school fully?"He asked, as I thought about the ti never got a chance to do so.

I put a small smile"You can show me around if you want, I'll literally get lost anyways!".

He grins"Good! Because I'm trying to avoid my other friends heheheh".

I rolled my eyes"understandable, let's go!".

We both then walk together as he guide me each floor on where the other offices, study room, counselling, library, etc.

This school is massive, I cannot believe this is one of the famous schools out here.

"I'm becoming familiarizing my surroundings thanks to you Hiccup"I pop a smile on my face. A real smile to a new friend.

"You're most certainly welcome. It is a great school, I'm a top student they say"He point out the honour roll.

"That's my goal here, getting my name on that"I walk closer to it, seeing my reflection on the glass. The honour roll board is close by the receptionist office.

"If you work hard Astrid, you can"Hiccup encourages me.

I turn my head to him"I will Hiccup, I will".

|After Fourth Period|

Finally math clsss ended, now off to home to study, and perhaps head out somehow if I want to only, my boarding home is really friendly. They remind me of my aunt and uncle, they have a 9 year month baby, he's cute.

As I was about to head out, I randomly run by Ruffnut, the crazy hyperactive chick.

"Hey Astrid!"She greets happily.

I wave back"hey Ruffnut, how's classes today?".

She motion her hand a wave, like an annoying thing to do"difficult, but I'll get through as always. Hey! Wanna hang? We can get to know each other?".

I thought a moment"sure! It'd be nice".

"Awesome! And hey you can meet some of my friends, be outgoing, let's go!"She says, as I follow her out of the school.

As we continue walking down the sidewalk, it appears to be she's heading to the park direction.

"I quite understand you. You seem nice. Just a normal girl passing by"Ruffnut said, as she might understand my new surroundings.

"You too. It felt like we know each other already"I laugh"let's hang out often?".

"Sure! It'd be nice to know this area along with me"She happily said, as we walk.

"Sounds good"I nod my head, as I folded my arms to rest.

"Good! There's a nearby park"She point out to the east side of the school"my friends are waiting, don't worry they're not meanies".

I simply nod and follow her to a nearby picnic table which are occupied by three girls whom are also wearing Berk uniforms, one is light blonde looking over her phone, a brunette that is resting her head on the table along with her arms, looking tired.

"Girls meet Astrid"Ruffnut introduces me to her friends.

"Hi I'm Elsa"a blonde chick that waves at me.

"I'm Anna"the brunette chick that stood up form her resting position.

"Nice to meet youse"I smile, feeling comfortable around them already.

"So you're that new girl that was transferred here?"Anna asked me, as I sat down with them.

I nod"yep, it's quite nice here. I like it. Wait you just assumed I'm new?"

"Usually we know when we see new students. It's not the first time"Elsa explains.

I then sat next to Ruffnut as we sat down.

"Good to know you'll fit in"Anna assured me"you look tough, me likie".

I smirk"I think we'll get along just find. You seem really good people even though we've met".

"Anna here has trouble hooking up boys, who she just met!"Elsa glare at her.

Anna gasp"hey! I'm young too! I don't need your approval against my will for having a boy over for studying".

"You still need my approval you little b##ch. I'm your older sister"Elsa barks back, assuming she's the oldest.

I chuckle"oh we're getting along just fine".

Ruffnut then grins, watching the cats arguing"you got that right!"
