Oliver's POV~

I was on my way to school with Richard and Ray. Those two were always holding hands and smiling at each other. The fact that they're happy makes me happy as well, but it doesn't stop me from also feeling like I'm being neglected. This causes me to frown a bit.

It didn't take long for them to notice, so Ray took me and hugged me. Richard did the same thing and hugged me close. I smiled, at least know that they do care. I've always had problems thinking about the negative side of things. Like, if someone would compliment, I'd always wonder if they meant it, or just said it to be nice. Richard and Ray always help me in those situations.

After a little bit, we managed to get to the school. At the gates, I see Michael and that husky or wolf from before. Ray just sort of smirks at the tiger. Richard, however, seemed a bit worried. They approached us, and I wasn't too concerned about Michael. The other one, however, I was a bit afraid of. Honestly, it's as if he never smiles, and that kind of scares me.

When they got close, I hid behind Ray a bit. I know they're very popular, so that kind of leaves me a bit intimidated. I get intimidated easily, especially by people either significantly taller or muscular. It makes me feel as if I'm about to be attacked.

Michael's POV~

I approached Ray and Richard, but those two weren't my focus. My focus was on Oliver, as you'd probably expect. As I approached them, so did furry Elsa over here. I saw Oliver hide behind Ray, and with the look on Jake's face, he wasn't helping. Oliver is so cute, I hope he isn't to terrified of me.

When we managed to get there, I smiled and motioned Oliver to come to me. I could tell he wasn't afraid of me, so he did as told and came over to me. I smiled at him, causing him to smile back. AHHHHHH WHY IS HE SO CUTE!?!?!

I picked him up in a hug, which he was surprised at first, but hugged back. It wasn't a real hug from him though. For him, it was out of confusion, but I'll take it.

I look over at Jake who is glaring at me. I just smirked at him and stuck my tongue out. I looked down at the white dog I was holding. I pet his head a bit. Honestly, I wish it could like this forever. Just me and him, together like this. No more modeling, no more people watching us, just me and him. The thought made me happy and blushed as I nuzzle my cheek against his head.

After my small moment of bliss, I heard a cough coming from Ray. I put down Oliver. "I'm sorry, it was just a greeting." Oliver smiles at me and says "It's fine. I'm okay with it. I was just confused at first." I nod my head and rub the back of my neck in embarrassing. After that, Ray, Oliver, and I head inside. Richard was about to follow, but got stopped by Jake. I wonder why.

Jake's POV~

I stopped Richard from going any further. I don't understand, why did he go to that damn tiger?! They've only known each other for a short period of time!

As if Richard read my mind, he then answered my question. "Because he trusts Michael." My eyes widen. He trusts him? He's only known him for about a day! Richard sighs.

"If you want to get to know him more, you have to stop your 'I'm better than you' attitude and at least smile. Oliver gets scared or intimidated easily. And tall, buff guys like you are one of the things that intimidate him the most. If you want to know him more, smile. Trust me, a tall and buff guy that never smiles is always scary. It makes you look like you want to kill someone."

I nod my head at what he said... Smile? What good does a smile do? Well, I guess I'll never know unless I try. Richard and I walked into together and we went about our day, almost normally. I only say almost because I decided that I should actually pay attention in class. Like Richard said, I need to stop my attitude.

I knew Michael did the same thing, but instead of stopping for the teacher, I kept going. I did this with my next few classes until lunch came around. But instead of going with the fans, I went to go with Oliver. I sat next to him, on the other side of Michael who sort of glared.

I internally sighed and awkwardly smiled at him. "I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself. My name is Jake. What's your's?" I didn't know smiling had such an impact. He smiled back at me and answered my question. "My name is Oliver, it's nice to meet you. Hopefully we can get along well."

I blushed as he smiled at me. I need to start smiling more often, just to see that face. He's so cute! I saw Richard smiling at me, making me smile back. I mouthed a 'thank you' and he just nodded.

Soon, our lunch period became a talking period. We talked about random things and he went to show us something on his phone. He frowned and said "Aw, it's dead. I knew I should've brought my portable charger."

Michael smiled widely as he took the phone and smiled at Oliver. "Allow me." Oliver tilted his head in confusion. Michael took out one of his claws and electricity sparked around him, instantly charging the phone to %100. Oliver was amazed.

Oliver's POV~

After seeing Mike charge my phone with his claw, plus the blue colored sparks that appeared around him, I was amazed to see my phone had been charged to %100.

I couldn't help but yell loudly "YOU HAVE ELECTRICITY ABILITIES?!?!" Mike rubbed the back of his neck and nod. I got so excited and asked him how he found his ability. Mike soon explained his story.

"My dad's company is run solely by electricity. We have 5 backup generators if something were to happen. When I was about 7, me and my dad were in an elevator and the electricity went out. We were falling at that point and I was scared beyond belief. My dad held me close as I cried. The generators wouldn't turn on, making us hopeless. It was then I held the bar tightly, electricity from my body flowing into the entire building. The whole building became powered and it stopped us from falling. After that, we investigated the problem to find someone tampered with the generators. Apparently, one of the employees wanted revenge for getting demoted and tried to kill my father. He was arrested and sent to prison for attempted murder and destruction of private property."

I was amazed to hear his story. I can't believe he managed to light up a whole building. Adrenaline really does a lot to you, I suppose. He smiles and says "I just use my powers to show off, anymore." I just nod my head, but before I could answer, I see Jake holding a small bowl of vanilla ice cream.

I look over and ask "How did you do that?!" He just smiled and took my chocolate milk, before freezing it into ice cream. My eyes widen in amazement. He smiles and says "I have a freezing ability. I can control ice and snow." I nod. I ask him his story and he explains it to me.

"My family was going on a trip to ancient Egypt, but actually somehow got lost due to my dad's sense of direction being bad. It was getting hot real quick. Soon, we were hallucinating and drenched. We were about to die, I swear. All I did was say 'I wish it would snow or something!' And soon enough, it did. My brother and father were amazed. At first I thought it was some weird coincidence. I got up from sitting down and raised my arms to stretch. Then a huge pillar of ice rose from the ground. That's when we knew that I had ice powers. We managed to survive the night because of my brother's fire ability. And soon enough, we managed to get home safe."

I was amazed at his story too. It seems that most people's abilities show from a survival situation. I wrote it down in my book and he said the same thing as Mike. He only uses it to show off.

I was about to say something, then the bell rang. Then Mike, Jake, and I noticed that we didn't even eat our lunch. Then we all realized how hungry we really were. Mike pets my head and says "Sorry, we forgot about eating. I'll make it up to you." I nod and Jake pats my shoulder. "I'll take you to dinner, okay? That way I can make up for this." I nod my head and notice the two of them glaring at each other. I smile and ask "How about we all go together?" They look at each other and glare, before sighing. "Okay, we'll go together. You should  pick out a place."

I smile widely as I got them to behave. I pulled up a picture on my phone and showed it to them. It was a picture of the nearby city. "I want to go here. They have many delicious restaurants." They nod and we head to our classes. I texted my mom that I'd be with friends. I can't wait for it.
