Nico sighed, getting ready for his first day at a new school. He doesn't care about first impression, so he dresses casually. He throws on a black shirt that says I prefer the NIGHTCORE version in white lettering, and black skinny jeans with a small iron chin dangling from his pocket. He goes inside the bathroom and looks at his rats' nest of hair, and sighs. He wets it and combs it until the long strands are straight enough to pass. Nico ignores his sunken eyes.

After finishing up hos dressing ritual, he makes his way downstairs to the kitchen, where his father has left a note on the counter with Nico's breakfast.

Nico walked to school. It took about fifteen minutes in total, not bad. However, once he arrived, he suddenly felt anxious. A new school, buzzing of people who already know each other... he'll be the new guy, the newbie, the target. Not that he can't handle himself, but this stuff gets exhausting.

Nico took a deep breath, and started walking into the large doors of the high school.

I know, really short and boring,
