???'s POV

I was woken up by water getting splashed on my head. I gasped and coughed.

"Good. You're awake." she stated. I shivered in fear.

"What do you want from me?" I asked, my voice shaking.

"Have a nice nap?" she laughed. "Or do you need another one?" She held up the bat again.

"Please! Anything but that!" I pleaded. Every time she knocked me out, I didn't know what she did, but it left my body hurting.

"Fine. You might as well see what I do." she chuckled. She then set the bat on the floor and whistled. A man walked in and over to her. "The usual. Don't go soft because he's awake."

"Yes ma'am." he answered. He swung his fist back and it connected with my nose.

Rose's POV

I was woken up by a loud scream. It seemed to come from a few houses down from mine.

"What the..." I muttered. I got out of bed and slid on shoes. I then ran out the door and to the house. I knocked on the door, slightly concerned that the screaming had stopped.

The door was opened by a girl with longish red hair.

"Can I help you?" she asked, sounding PO-ed.

"Are you new around here? And I heard some screaming. Is everything alright?" I wondered.

"Uh, yeah, I'm new. And everything's fine, don't worry. My little brother was being an idiot and watched a horror movie. I'm Kelly. You are?"

"I'm Rose. Nice to meet you Kelly. Can I come in for a bit?" I smiled. She nodded and stepped to the side.

"I have a question." Kelly said. "Do you know NateWantsToBattle?"

"Yeah... he's one of my friends and my favorite YouTuber." I answered. I looked around the living room, slightly confused when I didn't see any little boy. "I thought your brother was-" I was cut off by something hitting my head and knocking me out.

I woke up later in a darker space. I was leaning against a wall, my hands tied to a pole behind me. My feet were tied together as well.

"Good, you're awake. I was so afraid I hit you too hard." Kelly's voice came from the darkness. I started to say something when I realized that I had a gag in my mouth. I looked around the room, noticing the chair in the center of the room. It had a guy slumped over in it. "He's alright, if you're wondering. Just knocked out. For now."

I shifted uncomfortably. Kelly emerged from the darkness and walked over to me.

"You know too much. And you heard what no one else will. Thanks for letting me know his screams were too loud." she laughed, making me look at her. "Have fun down here, Rose!" She then spun around and walked out of the room, leaving me and the man.

"She's gone." someone spoke up. "She never notices me." A man walked out of the shadows. He ran over and quickly untied the gag over my mouth. "Don't yell or anything. What do you want to know?"

"Who is he?" I asked, motioning my head towards the guy.

"His name is Nate. That's all I ever got out of him." he replied. I sucked in a breath. "What? You know him?"

"Yes." I replied. "That's NateWantsToBattle."
