Ponyboy-
You guys met while in the library. You went to grab a book off a shelf but another person grabbed it. The boy apologized and offered you the book to you. Instead of taking it and leaving, you make up a compromise of reading it together until the library closes. So, you do and you learn a lot about him. His name is Ponyboy, he has two brothers, he's the same age as you, etc. After that, Ponyboy walked you home.
Sodapop-
You met Sodapop at the DX while he was behind the counter. You stopped in to grab a water and a snack for a soccer game you were going to watch. After grabbing some chips and a water, you go to the cash out only to find an absolutely adorable boy standing behind the counter. He introduces himself as Sodapop and he talks to you, he's probably one of the politest boys you've ever met. He asks what you're getting the snacks for and you say you're headed to watch a soccer match. Sodapop then smiles and says he's getting off early to go watch the game too and wants to know if you wanna hang with him at it. You, of course, accept.
Darry-
You two met at a Football game. Your cousin was on the team and even though you were done with Highschool and onto college, you liked to come back to watch your cousin. There was a group of boys sitting next to you and your family in the bleachers. The boy closest to you kept on sneaking glances at you from the corner of his eye and then turning to talk to his friends. He had to be around your age. You were sharing popcorn with one of your younger cousins when you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turn only to find yourself being talked to by the boy. It seemed to be the most random things that came out of his mouth but you got a few things out of it: 1. He thought you were cute. 2. His name was Darrel (But you can call him Darry) Curtis. And 3. He wanted to hang out with you more.
Dally-
You were dragged to a party that was being hosted by a guy named Buck. Your friend completely abandoned you to go hang out with some guys. You were cool with it and just resulted out stealing a book from the bookcase and settling down on the couch with that. Soon enough, a boy decided to sit down right next to you and pelt you with questions. Not only questions but also trying to pretty much flatter. You tried to tune him out, you're not much for dating greasers who's only wish is to hit and quit. But, eventually he kept on being super annoying and you set down the book. After that, Dally and you hit it off.
Johnny-
You were riding your bike down the street one day when you pasted by the empty lot. There was a boy laying on the ground and staring up at the sky, smoking a cigarette. You were so busy looking at him, that you accidentally crashed your bike. When you Fell, you hit your knee pretty hard on the way down, scraping it until blood ran down your leg. You looked down at your knee letting out a hiss but when you look up again, the boy was standing there, asking if you're okay. He takes out a handkerchief and dabs your knee, muttering about how you should watch where you're going and how dangerous riding a bike could be, especially around here. Soon, he also mutters about wanting to hang out with you more.
Steve-
Your car broke down. Like, while you were just trying to get to a movie with some friends. So, you pushed your car a little over its limit and luckily got yourself to the DX in time. There, a boy named Steve Randle helped you out. To be honest, chatting with him was a lot more fun for you than watching some kind of movie with your friends. After he got your car back into perfect working order, he hands you a paper which you assumed was the check but was instead his number and a little smile.
Two-Bit-
You were sitting in your car at the drive-in when your passenger-side door opened and a boy jumped in. You jumped, of course, but noticed it was a boy from school. His name was Keith. He grinned at you and you noticed that he reeked of alcohol. You asked him if he was drunk and he simply nodded and started to spew out a bunch of things about how he's always thought you were cool and cute. It was an awkward moment but... it was the moment you met your boyfriend.
