The boot was empty.

The growl that emitted from the back of Sonias throat, was borderline animalistic.
"Where. The. Fuck. Could. He. BE???" Sonia thundered in complete rage.

There was a slight rustle of a breeze and Ody's insidiously, disgusting voice rasped in a chuckle. "Now now, love! I can't have you undoing all of my hard work from the past twenty-four hours now, can I?"
He had Pearl by her throat, and proceeded to lick her face from the bottom of her jaw - all the way up to her hairline - above her right eyebrow.
When his tongue left her skin,
a long string of saliva was left hanging from her face.
Pearl physically shuddered from the contact.

Sonia bristled with barely contained rage, seeing one of her only allies within Ody's physical grasp. She took two tiny steps towards him, but that was all it took.

"You think I don't see you? I will make these next few moments incredibly painful for Mama Pearl if you don't Stay Put!" Ody's voice filled Pearl's front yard, even living as rural as she did.

"Ok, Ody, ok. I'll stay here. Just please, don't hurt her - she's an innocent." Sonia pled to Ody.

Even in her hand, Sonia could feel vibration after vibration - but being as distracted as she was, didn't know if they were story updates via Peter, or messages to her from Peter.

Sonia was beginning to panic. How on earth was she going to manage sneaking a peak at her phones screen - with Ody watching her every move?

Ody was watching the different thought patterns flit over Sonia's face, "This girl needs to learn the expression 'Poker Face' " Ody thought to himself. "I wonder if she has worked out she doesn't need the phone to channel Peter?" He chuckled inwardly, as he saw her mounting panic.

"Pearl, I've failed you both. I'm so sorry!" Sonia cried out to Pearl, with streams of tears running down her face. Internally, she was running a mantra of just "whatcanIdo? whatcanIdo? whatcanIdo? whatcanIdo?" on a loop inside her mind.
Sonia took a deep breath that she could feel down to her toes, as she made the desicion to unlock the phone while distracting Ody with something loud and wild - luckily enough, she still had the bloodied pair of heels hanging in her back pocket, so she used her left hand to fling those at Ody's face, and her right thumb to unlock the phone, accessing the newest messages from Peter.

Ody had moved out of the way of the shoes, but took the opportunity to drop Pearl, and take two giant pivoting steps towards Sonia.

Sonia was so busy greedily scrolling through the new text within the Wattpad story, that she didn't see nor notice the two giant steps Ody took - until Wattpad cut off on the phone and a bright red warning box popped up with white text that said - "LOOK OUT!"

Sonia looked up, just as Ody's right shoulder connected with her solar plexus.
All the air rushed out of her lungs, and she struggled to take in a full breath of air. Ody looked at her, from his position on the ground and grinned at her obvious discomfort.

"I told you, little bitch - I always come out on top!" Ody crowed at Sonia.

Sonia glared at Ody, as she noticed pearl out of the corner of her eye begin to edge back towards her house.
That got Sonia thinking.
"Pearl said she needed an item or part of the person that had created the bond between souls... maybe she has what she needs?"

To Ody, she merely sneered, and spat back "On top? You won't be coming at all! You prick!"

Ody chuckled that weird rasping noise he had been making since Sonia had hit him with the car, then parked it on him. "That's what you say, little bitch. That's what you say." Was all Ody said in response as he tip-toed the last few steps toward Sonia.
Only to have Sonia disappear in whirl of blue.

With an audible "POP!" and a "POOF!"
Sonia disappeared into the point of light that ended at the mobile phone - that had been in Sonia's hands up until that moment - but once she vanished, the phone hit the lush green grass after bouncing twice, only for Ody to roar in response in complete and utter frustration.
"Well played little bitch. Well played."

Sonia came to amid a blue hue of nothingness.

"H-h-hello?" Sonia called out wearily, not quite knowing what to expect next.

A gentle, rich,  smooth-as-chocolate voice encircled the space she was in.

"Welcome my love. I'd managed to keep track of you right up until Ody was about to kill you. I've just recently mastered porting things I require inside here, with me! But sadly it means waiting where you are for about thirty minutes to ensure he hasn't mastered the tech, in order to follow you. After which time you can join me, and I will answer any questions you have to the best of my ability."

Sonia absorbed all this new information- albeit slowly, and breathed as deeply and slowly as she possibly could.

"Who are you?" Sonia questioned the voice quietly.

"It's me, Peter silly!" the voice replied before chuckling softly.

"And where am I exactly?" Sonia asked Peter.

"You're three quarters of the way between your dimension and the dimension I am in." Peter answered Sonia as clearly as he could. "I hope this ok. Ody was sheer moments from killing you. Do you need anything?" Peter asked her.

Sonia shook her head, not really understanding what was happening, or how she got there. "A glass of water would be great, thank you, Peter." Sonia responded before just taking a few deep breaths and trying to process everything Ody had told her.

Meanwhile, back at the farm...
Pearl was searching the area where Sonia had been - only moments before - urgently.
"Where did you go? Darling girl!?! Please, be ok!" Pearl was tearfully pleading while hunting around.

Ody, (Who had over-swung, when Sonia disappeared!) Chose this moment to correct his footing and to try and slash out at Pearl.

Pearl muttered a Latin phrase, and unseen forces held Ody in the air while Pearl walked him to the local watering hole.
The unseen forces held him under - until he disappeared.

Pearl then trotted slowly back to her property to retrieve the mobile phone Sonia jumped into.
